Better than buying online
I had a problem with the delivery - but the team at the Fordbridge branch were outstanding in their customer care. They were positive, polite and helped resolve the issue, at speed. To me this's the benefit of going with a shop than buying online. In world where most customer service is lacklustre, Southampton Canoes team are top rate.

My wife and I visited the store a couple of weeks ago and purchased 2 Juntos kayaks. I cannot praise the customer service enough. They definitely wrnt above and beyond in helping us to choose which kayaks would be best suited for our needs, selection of equipment, and delivery. Very happy with everything and a special mention for Henry who was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Thanks Henry.

Wow just wow, the customer service is so on point and some of the best I have ever experienced. I cannot comment on the products but I have purchased high end Thule, Drop Racks etc etc. I will 100% being using the team again for all my purchases.

A nearly perfect score
A good product range and a good price even after shipping costs. Prompt service and quick delivery. Lost one star on packaging. My paddle was well protected and arrived undamaged. The wrapping itself was unrefined and difficult to get in to, the use of sellotape over cardboard meant I was unable to recycle the cardboard as it had been completely covered.

Riot Mako 12 Warranty Replacement
I purchased a Riot Mako 12 kayak from this company less than 12 months ago. While out in the water I noticed a crack in the hull that shouldn’t have happened. I think it was just one of those things that happens, rather than a serious problem with the product.I reported it via email to Southampton Canoes during the Covid lockdown. Within 2 weeks they had approved the warranty claim with the USA manufacturer and arrangements were made to swap out my broken hull.I think this was good service and can recommend this company if you are looking to buy a kayak.
