I rent from Sixt about once a month. I do this becuase they are always great to work with. Espically the Las Vegas Howard Hughes loctaion. Everywhere is good but that loctaion has great people and leadership. They have a great selction on cheaper and luxury cars. You can get whatver you want. Most rental companies dont have great cars and I cannot find the same level of custimer service anywhere else.
Everything about the check-in, vehicle, and return process was great. But they are scammers on extra charges after returning your car. We were charged an exorbitant cleaning fee when the car was returned in normal condition and after providing documentation on this matter they still refused to reverse the fee.
Friendly customer service at Sixt Unanderra on 20.02.2026. The hire car we booked wasn’t available, but a comparable alternative was provided. Would recommend Sixt for affordable and stress free car hire.
I recently rented a car from Sixt Car at Ouarzazate Airport in Morocco and had an excellent experience.The pickup process was smooth and efficient. The paperwork was straightforward, and the vehicle was fully acceptable for our needs. While the air conditioning was not as cold as we expected, the car ran reliably and performed well throughout our trip.What truly stood out was Mustapha’s exceptional service. We ended up extending our reservation four or five times, and each time he was responsive, flexible, and genuinely helpful. He made the process simple and seamless, and never once made us feel like we were inconveniencing him. Communication was easy, clear, and professional.Returning the car was just as smooth as pickup. We especially appreciated that he kindly dropped us off at the bus station, which made our onward travel effortless.It was a pleasure doing business with Mustapha. His professionalism, flexibility, and customer care made a strong impression. I would gladly rent from him and Sixt Car again.
Amazing value for the vehicle. The app is user friendly and very easy to navigate. I was able to select the vehicle of my choice (C Class Mercedes), get checked in and out seamlessly. The drop off was prompt and shuttle was immediately available take get me to the airport.
I was not informed of a one way fee when I rented a car in Cinci and was returning it to Atlanta. To my surprise, I was charged an additional 900$. Had I known, I would have canceled the reservation and used Hertz who was $1000 cheaper. I have now been fired because of this and Sixt could care less. Welcome to the corporate world. Would avoid sixt entirely as I wont ever use again.

This was my first experience with Sixt and I'm so happy I moved forward with them. They're the perfect blend of affordability and reliability. Everything was seamless, transparent, and exactly as described. My rep even made sure to give us a car with lower mileage than the one I originally selected. No hidden fees, and excellent customer service.
I have used Sixt for all of my trips to Raleigh without any prior issues. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing.When I returned the vehicle, there was a six-inch scrape on one of the wheels. I am confident that I did not cause this damage. The employee who checked in the car even commented that it looked old and told me not to worry, saying I would not be charged.However, a week later I received a $600 bill for wheel repairs. No proof was provided showing the condition of the car before my rental, and no repair invoice was included. I have no way of knowing whether the damage occurred during my rental or if the repair was even completed. I responded to dispute the charge but received no communication in return.I have read a lot of reviews about wheel scrape damage, which seems like a common thread. Five days later, I began receiving text messages stating that the matter would be sent to collections. This was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.As a result, I chose a different rental company for my next two trips. I have rented many cars over the years, and this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Unfortunately, this approach has cost them a loyal customer.Not sure the damage recoup is on the up and up with this company.
The rental had been set up by my employer and the pickup couldn’t have been much faster for one with a human touch. The rental was exactly what we reserved and was very clean and ready to go! I was able to switch to “fill it up for me” after realizing the unrealistic fill up potential at 0400. The after hours return was well documented and precise making it a quick drop off with a secure key drawer. A no worries rental perfect for anyone!

I rented a Sixt car in Puerto Rico and declined the toll option with Sixt, thinking that I would pay toll myself like in the US. I drove across PR and went thru 12 toll stations. The toll itself is cheap, like $11.5 total but Sixt charged me extra $10/toll station or $120 which is pure profit for Sixt. Sixt charged me toll $11.5 + $120 = $131.5. Sixt paid PR toll $11.15 and profit $120 from my ignorance of the PR toll system which has no cash booth! I think Sixt could have charged $1 extra/toll station instead of the extra $10/toll station
I rent cars 3-4 times a year. The last 2 times I decided to try SIXT. Once at PBI and once at BNA. In both situations, they exceeded my expectations with a quick pick up, a quick return, friendly agents, excellent pricing and clean, well performing cars. To quote a famous movie star...."I'LL BE BACK".
Comunication with the staff, both in pick up and drop off, fast actions, no delays, car quality.
I rented a car in Puerto Vallarta Mexico from 2/13/26 to 2/19/26.First off the price was fair and I absolutely loved the experience. Not only the car but more importantly the crew. The guy at the front desk, the shuttle driver and the ladies at the counter at the time of doing the paperwork were very professional, corteous and efficient. What really stood out for me was the fact they did NOT try to push down my throat any additional fees or non-sense insurances which, sadly, it's a common practice in Mexico as I've experienced that in multiple cities with multiple car rental companies but, again, not with Sixth.They have earned my respect and confidence, hence this 5-star review.Returning the car was also quick, smooth and fair. I had a confirmed long-term reservation made in September 2025 that Sixt canceled just 10 days before pickup (in Seattle, WA) without explanation. Despite multiple emails to Customer Service and my Account Manager, I was given no reason and no alternative solution.As a loyal customer of over 10 years (globally), this was extremely disappointing. The cancellation forced me to secure a last-minute rental at nearly three times the original rate. This has been my worst experience with Sixt.
This was the absolute worst car rental experience I have ever had. It started with an upsell that was inadequately explained. I was given a car with a leaky tire that was not only inconvenient but dangerous. When I realized the problem was a leak and not just low air I was informed they couldn’t help me as I rented and returned at different locations. The icing on the cake was being blamed for a scratch and a charge and letter from a collection agency in excess of $1200 that I could not dispute, though I don’t believe we had anything to do with it. I will never rent from this company again. It is back to hertz. An absolutely horrible experience and I regret ever taking a chance with them.
