Overpriced. Undersized. Sub par taste.
We ate at the King's Cross branch... Nice customer service and shake were about the only good things. Nearly £40 for two burgers, one fries and one milkshake as we shared them to keep cost down. The fries were luke warm and very cardboard like. My veggie burger was hot but really not great at all. My mate had a cheese burger, he didn't enjoy it either. Took ages to come and there was rubbish piled up by the bins. Defo don't recommend and won't ever be coming back.
The chopmeat used in their burgers seems to be ground only 1 time resulting in pieces unable to chew. I know this because I was a butcher for 47 years and made at least 200 lbs of chopmeat every morning ground 3 times. 3rd time it went into package. Also over 6 bucks for fries! Shakes good but over priced. Verdict, they suck!
This was without doubt the worst burger I have ever eaten. £35 for two burgers, a portion of chips and a coke (shared!). The burger bun was so grease filled it was like a fat laden pancake surrounding two very greasy patties. I know it was kings Cross, but ridiculous price for disgusting food
I had a very upsetting experience at Shake Shack Camden Town on Sunday, 26 October at around 3:20 PM.While helping my 5-year-old son in the accessible toilet (with permission, as my elderly mother cannot use stairs), a male employee entered without knocking, shouted at us, and told us to leave, even though my son was undressed and extremely frightened.I was truly shocked that this could happen in London, and in a well-known family restaurant like Shake Shack. The manager apologized but refused to provide the employee’s name, which made it impossible to report the incident properly.I later sent a formal complaint to Shake Shack UK’s customer feedback email but received no reply or acknowledgment at all, which was deeply disappointing. This incident is a serious violation of human privacy. No one should ever enter a toilet while it is occupied, regardless of the reason. Not every disability is visible, and I sincerely hope Shake Shack takes this matter seriously, reviews the CCTV footage, and provides proper staff training on respect, empathy, and customer care, especially when dealing with families, children, and the elderly.

Walked in to Shake shack in Victoria in London. Pictures looked amazing of the food...they look nothing like the pictures !!...Overall the food was shocking .. two burgers and chips with a shake and a floater..forty three quid 😡...the burgers were tiny.would defo never go back 😡😡
It wasn't worth waiting almost 30 minutes for one French fries and one hot dog. In the address 2100 SE 164th Ave Vancouver, WA
I walked into this shake shack at 1700 Broadway 53street attempting to purchase a side item along with a liberty team game promotion of a hamburger. My wife has season tickets. When I walked in it reminded me of the department of motor vehicles with all of the standing around with stress faces. Oddly enough there was no lines just people waiting for food. I walked up and showed the cashier my liberty email which stated a free hamburger with the purchase of an item and to show the email or ticket. The cashier asked for a ticket and I left. I wrote a review and shake shack responded and sent me a credit of 10 $ I redeemed it and still had to pay one dollar an 62cents. I went back about a month later and this time there were less people standing around but unfortunately the cashier had her back turned away from the customers. I waited for at least 3min when the same cashier from my previous encounter walked up and I once again showed her the email she again asked for the ticket. I left. I was informed by management that basically they reserved the right to ask for a ticket along with the email .
If Shake Shack wants their share price to go higher then they better start to figure out how their restaurants have become examples of terrible customer service. They’re losing people due to their inability to deliver quality food and good service.
First time visit....Fool me once shame on you...Fool me twice shame on ME.Nice greeting. SS can't add mayo to a burger....Huh What?Fries luke warm. not crispy.Regular size meat, small bun. Way over cooked.NO napkins in takeout bag...Huh What?Very little flavor for burger, No juice.Sounds like a "corporate" problem, not the local store.Have the CEO's spouse go to a location, and write a review .This a true attestation without any prejudice. Had my first Shake Shack at London Victoria yesterday and it was delicious! If you're going to treat yourself to a burger spend a couple of extra pounds for a great burger rather than one that just fills a gap. Restaurant was really clean and tidy too, would highly recommend.
Food was ridiculously overpriced paid 2770 Turkish lyra for 2 burgers, that is 50£ in Antalya Turkey.Food is not consistent, in short it's a rip off.
Very pricey £85 for 3 burgers, 3 fries and 4 shakes! Nothing exceptional and took a long time to come. I had to ask member of staff to clean table as was filthy. Cashier had a bad attitude particularly when I questioned the look of my milkshake as was nothing like what was advertised on poster. First and last time I will be eating here.
I ate a Shake Shack in New York recently and the vegetarian burger was really good. I was hoping to repeat the experience in London. The food was ridiculously overpriced and very poor in comparison. I don’t recommend the UK version at all.
I ordered and waited 15 minutes for two burgers chips and chicken bites, my partners burger was cold which he got changed, the chips were Luke warm and my chicken was warm to touch but cold in the middle like it was out of the fridge. We drove an hour and a half and spent £57 for half of our food to be cold. We complained once but if I was to complain again the rest of the food would have just gotten colder as service was so slow. I’m very disappointed, it’s expensive for fast food so you expect the food to atleast be hot
I am waiting to pick up my order for 20 minutes
We visited the Shake Shake in Westfield, Stratford on 27/06/2025 around 7pm. First impressions running through my head was, 'Why is this place so empty when Westfield is buzzing?' The second impression was, 'Urgh, this restaurant has an over powering, stomach churning smell.' I can only think it's the type of oil that they use. Maybe it's old, reused oil over a long period? I wish I'd used my gut instinct and did a u-turn. However, it was getting late and my girls and I were extremely hungry. I'd read some good reviews so it must be good, right? Wrong! When our over-priced food arrived, the chips were hot but hard to chew. My ShakeShake burger was unappetising as it was basically cold. Probably, due to an almost empty restaurant, I'm thinking that this food was already cooked and laying around waiting for mugs like us to come along. The girls meals were the same. We couldn't even finish our meals. At nearly £10 a burger and £5 for fries, I was extremely disappointed. I told my girls to remind me that even if I was desperate, never allow me to eat here again! 3 words, don't do it!
Waited in the car queue for 20 minutes before someone even asked “have you been helped?” I was eager just to get home. On arriving home, the double I ordered was a single, the shakes were melted and one of my orders of fries were missing. I paid $60 for this experience for a family of 3. DO NOT GO to the Shake Shack in Surprise, AZ. It’s a scam, the employees obviously don’t know what they’re doing, and it is INCREDIBLY over-priced. I hope the In-N-Out opening soon will put it out of business.
