Not kept up to date
Not kept up to date. I sent info with updates for Laos railway about 3 months ago (as he asks for on the web page) as the current information on the site is quite wrong and outdated. My updates were never included so the site is still giving users a lot of incorrect information

Amazing site with so much information. I would not be booking a long train trip through Europe if I had not found this site.We want to go to Florence and the Italy page provides a number of options that I would never have known about. It has also given me the confidence to do it myself. Thank you so much.Just a note - As this is not a commercial site I would not rely on timings here, especially now with everyone cancelling and changing timetables at the drop of a hat. Hoever the site points you at current booking platforms so it is up to you to do some work. For example, I have already found out that London to Paris is cheaper mid week in the evening.

My holiday was ruined by…
My holiday was ruined by mis-imformation regarding a train from Bialystok(Poland) to Vilnius(Lithuania) When I got to Bialystok and reported the no train situation he said"Oh well". It looks really full of useful information but I would not trust this site again with anything. Shame I HAD TO GIVE IT 1 STAR

Always Excellent travel information - in superb detail.
We used seat61.com as one of our main sources for information on our 11 month RTW trip. I have newer seen train travel as an experience in itself, but I do now thanks to Seat61.com. We have taken the colonial route from Mombasa to Nairobi, Dar es salaam to Mbeya and today we go on the Marrakesh to Rabat route in northern africa. The site also offers great information on other travelling forms - and by request from the site we did a tour through the Tizi N'Tichka pass in the Atlas mountains - which were beautiful (but a bit scary). The descriptions are perfectly detailed, have great pictures. Top score for an awesome travel site.

This site was exactly what I was looking for and had all the information I needed.
I found this site simply by googling "Trains London to San Sebastian, Spain". The site is beautiful and the information extremely useful. I used the link to Loco2 to book my trip. I will return to the site to get more info about my destinations and will revisit the site for future trips and will recommend it to my friends.
