Carpet One and Eric to the rescue!
We put in new laminate flooring, but forgot to order the stair treads at the same time. Unfortunately, it took several tries of ordering treads before the dye lots matched. It took so long that the person who was originally hired to finish the stairs was booked on other jobs and had no availability. Desperate win to finish the job, we called up Carpet One and pleaded for help. They kindly sent over Eric who did an incredible job installing the stair treads. Not only was he extremely friendly and very easy to work with, his craftsmanship is beyond excellent and fast. He finished the job in less than a day (including clean up) and it looks amazing. He was even kind enough to cut all of the remaining trim pieces so all we need to do is paint them and put them up. BONUS!I 100% recommend Carpet One and Eric for any flooring or stair installation needs.

Carpet One in Ponderay, Idaho has been a pleasure to do business with. They have a large and varied selection of tiles, flooring and carpet, their staff is knowledgeable, installation is great. But more than anything else, the store's customer satisfaction guarantee is real. Through no fault of Carpet One, we had some hardwoods installed which turned out to have a manufacturing defect. The manufacturer did not stand behind their product, but Carpet One did, and they replaced our hardwoods with a different manufacturer's product at no additional cost to us. It is rare to find a company which has the integrity to honor their guarantee and do what it takes to make sure their customers are satisfied with both their product and service, but this one does. Highly recommend this store!

Past & Present -- Full Satisfaction
This review covers all the flooring and carpeting that was installed in my new home over a period of 18 months by Sandpoint Carpet One as my finances permitted. Consequently, I can write from the vantage point of having a time-tested installation as well as being able to provide current comments. The upstairs installation consisted of LVP/LVT flooring and carpeting, and it was completed last year. Nikki was my sales contact for this phase, and she handled everything flawlessly along with giving very helpful advice when it came to product selection. I am also confident that she worked to get me the best prices possible. The installation went smoothly; no call-back for repairs was required; and the crew was efficient and respectful. Now, within the last two weeks, the carpeting for the basement bedroom & stairs was completed. For this last phase (along with a separate purchase of vinyl tile that I personally installed) Tiffany was my sales contact. Once again, I was very well pleased with the advice given and the full transaction experience. Tiffany steered me to a previously ordered tile that the store still had in stock, and this—at a considerably lower price than normal—met all my needs, not to mention being the perfect color. To help match the tile she then helped me settle on some fine tight weave carpeting that became a perfect match. Not only this, but she made extra calls to the carpet manufacturer to get a better price, and she also advised me of Carpet One’s annual sale which further significantly reduced the overall cost. The downstairs carpeting installation—including the stairs—was performed by a single installer. As with the upstairs crew from the previous year, the job was done very, very well. Complaints? None. Satisfaction? Extreme.

Love my carpet! So much help from Tiffany, she is very personable, helpful, and makes the selection less stressful. Both my installers were good. The second one needs to save his cigarette breaks for after the job. The cigarette smoke smell was pretty bad.

I had flooring installed in my kitchen
I had flooring installed in my kitchen. The old floor, which was ceramic tile, had to be removed first. It was a messy, dusty job, but the installers that Sandpoint Furniture Carpet One used for the work did a beautiful job with a minimum of mess. My new floor, which is a water resistant wood laminate, is beautiful! I would recommend these people and this company to anyone needing a beautiful floor.

Happy but missing something
I enjoyed my sales clerk during my picking out and paying for my carpet, then never heard from her again. I was told I get an Amercian Express Card voucher, never heard more. I had to call for confirmation insulation date. I haven’t heard from anyone if all went well and if the customer is happy with product or installation. This electronic feedback doesn’t do it !!!Installers were told to be careful of wood baseboards, then when I pointed out gouges and scrapes, he denied he did it! I had just had then, for the most part, refinished!
