I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a premium product from RobotShop.After spending nearly £1,000 on a Litter-Robot, I discovered after the purchase that buying through RobotShop places the customer at a significant disadvantage compared to buying directly from the manufacturer. The extended warranty offered by RobotShop is more expensive, offers worse coverage, and does not include free shipping for warranty repairs — unlike the manufacturer’s plan.Despite RobotShop being an authorized distributor, customers are effectively penalized for purchasing through them. When I raised this concern, RobotShop refused to improve the warranty terms or offer any reasonable goodwill solution. The only option provided was to return the unit — at my own expense — even though the product had been used normally as intended.This level of customer care is unacceptable for such an expensive, premium product. Important differences in warranty coverage were not made clear at the time of purchase, leaving customers to discover the downsides only afterward.I would strongly advise potential buyers to purchase directly from the manufacturer and avoid RobotShop if you care about fair warranty terms and customer protection.

Bought Litter Robot in this shop, after 3 years the power unit stopped working, the shop sent irrelevant details asking to order and replace items myself. Please do not buy this from the shop as you will have to do repairs yourself, £600 is wasted, never again

Delayed shipment and terrible customer support - do NOT recommend
My experience was very disappointing: my order wasn’t shipped for more than 3 days, and when I asked for help, the agent insisted it had already shipped — but the tracking only became active hours after their response. I had told them I don’t live in the U.S., so I couldn’t receive it when it finally arrived late Monday. With no support from RobotShop, I arranged for a friend to pick up the package on Friday, but it was already missing. When I reached out again, I got no meaningful help. Overall, this was a very poor experience in communication, logistics, and customer service.

Never received item, hard to get (partial) refund.
I never received the item which they sent out with their courier of choice. After extensive back-and-forth with the seller, who responded in an arrogant manner, they finally agreed to issue a refund for the item itself but refused to reimburse the shipping cost. In the end when pointed out that they were legally obliged to refund the full amount, as they are legally responsible for successful delivery of the item, they chose to ignore the message and stall any further communication.There is no reason at all to why they would deduct shipping. Seems like a lucrative business. The only conclusion I can make here is that I am being penalized for ordering with them. Will definitely never order anything from this fraudulent, arrogant store, ever again.

RobotShop has the best customer support team I’ve ever dealt with! They are always friendly, uplifting, and truly go out of their way to make sure every question is answered. Their educational products are top-notch, offering some of the best robotics and STEM learning tools available today. At times, certain products can be on backorder, but what I really appreciate is that they are always transparent about it — the expected arrival dates are clearly indicated, so you know exactly what to expect. That honesty and communication really set them apart. Overall, a fantastic company to work with, whether you’re ordering for personal projects or educational institutions. Highly recommended!
