Happy with slate
We got advised to buy from ribble valley slate, and we was so happy overall. Booking my slate fire place, checking there diagram. Delivery also was great. Price was reasonable. Cut to size perfection of product. Great to deal with.

Everyone does Slate Hearths, but this one is different
After contacting the plethora of slate hearth suppliers that abound the internet via contact pages, email and phone. I was hugely impressed when only one company came back to me with a phone call. Simon from Ribble Valley contacted me in a timely manner to talk through our hearth project. The only company to do so...Being the busiest time of year for this industry I was worried our project was a little unusual, but this did not put Simon and his team off, in fact it was welcomed. Sure enough after a decent drawing and measurement, Simon quickly produced a quote and lead time. Not expecting a called from Jackie, so soon, but our gorgeous and unusual riven slate hearth arrived within a week. Beautifully cut and with a polished edge smoother than a babies...you know what. Also worth noting, that once the other quotes came in, Simon was not only competitive, but in some cases VERY competitive.So thank you Simon and your team, we are so very happy with what you have produced and with your human approach to your internet based business. Totally amazing. Thank you

Great hearth
Placed an order for two slates during (Covid) lockdown and they were amazingly helpful and reassuring in selection and packing for transportation. Excellent service and would recommend highly.
