Terrible customer service and pillow is not for me
I pre-ordered the combo cube in early April. It said would be shipping mid-April. Well mid-April turned to mid-May and then finally it shipped in mid-June. Also, it said everyone who pre ordered it would get a free bottle of sleep cubes. I never got those, and I know of other people who didn't either. I emailed them about that, and they never responded. Now about the pillow. The pillow might actually be great for some people but for me it was way too tall, and my neck felt strained every night for the past 3 week. Returning the pillow tomorrow.

Faulty Pillow, Awful Customer Support
I ordered an Ice Cube pillow back in December that I loved, so I ordered a second one in May for my husband. When it arrived, the shell was a completely different pattern and texture from the first (and not what's shown on their site), and the foam core was noticeably less firm. I emailed customer support, and they brushed me off, assuring me that I received the product that I ordered.Since my husband prefers more firm pillows, I gave him my old one and took the new one. The first night, it became clear that it was not the same. It was so soft that my head flattened it, effectively ridding it of the advertised ninety-degree angle, defeating the point of the product, and leaving me with neck pain in the morning.I then washed both shells in the same load together per their tag directions (wash cold, tumble dry low). My first shell came out fine, but the new one had shrunk to half its size and would not stretch back out. When I attempted to put it back over the foam core, it just squeezed the foam into a tiny version of its former self.Customer "support" was an absolute joke. When I asked for an exchange, they told me that because I didn't purchase extra shipping protection, there would be a $15 charge to replace it. Purchase protection is NOT supposed to protect a seller from their own incorrect/defective items; it's designed to protect a buyer when their package is lost in transit or when they need to exchange an item based on their own ordering error. This company's "policy" thinks otherwise, and they are free to lie to you and scam you as they please unless you essentially buy insurance to protect you from it. Don't trust these scam artists like I did; avoid them at all costs.

Perfect if you want wrinkles only on ONE side
I loved The Pillow Cube, and have loved it for the 3 years I've had it...until about 6 months ago I noticed that the wrinkles on my left side of my face [I sleep only on left) have become insane 💔 Ok, I'm 66 years old,, wrinkles happen, but it's not funny that they ONLY appear on my left facial cheek...not a one in my right cheek. Crow's feet, yes, check wrinkles NONE. But, wrinkles started to appear 2 years ago on my left side, and I attributed it to sun...then I thought about it and I wear a huge brimmed hat, tons of sunscreen and I don't walk around with only my left cheeck facing the sun.It's the pillow and my heart is broken 💔 they are hideous. I don't mind wrinkles, but I look like two different people walking around...if you're on my left, you'd think I was in my 80s, on my right you'd think I was in my late 40s, early 50s.I don't know what to do to rectify the damage this pillow has done to my left cheek, and I am seriously heartbroken 💔 I will now purchase a light therapy unit for at home use, using the money I was going to use to purchase another pillow as the down-payment. If you want to develop hideous wrinkles, in only ONE side if your face, by all means purchase this pillow. If on the other hand, you want even wrinkles, stick with down pillows. I am going back to a down pillow, using light therapy, and seriously considering ingections in my left cheek to re-plump and even out some of the hideous one-sided wrinkles 😤

So sad this happened..
Started off with the belief that Pillowcube was a life changer. Neck pain, shoulder pain, and back pain vanished within a week of sleeping on my Pillowcube. I was blown away. Then, it happened...I noticed the insides of my cheeks were sore. At night I could not close my jaw without pinching the inside of my cheeks. They became tender and swollen so eventually it also happened during the day. Even my dentist noticed this at a regular check up. I came to realize that the luxurious support Pillow cube gave to my head was pushing on my jaw and squeezing my inner cheek into the pathway of my bite. I experimented changing back to my old pillow. Neck and shoulder pain back but cheek pain gone. I am so sad. I loved the curative results Pillowcube gave my spine. Maybe an option to design an area where the jaw and cheek touch be a bit softer and more forgiving?

Uncomfortable and 'exchange' policy is a scam!
I bought a 5" Standard Pillow Cube as a gift for my wife. Size-wise she is well within the recommended height for the standard pillow. She found the pillow to be too thick and too firm. I tried it myself and found the same. When sleeping on one's side it really pushes against your cheeks! Just in case of this issue I purchased their Re:do "Free Returns for in-store credit or Exchanges" item expecting that I would be able to easily exchange the pillow for a different size.Here's the bait and switch scam... Upon attempting to return the pillow for an exchange I noticed that no other size of 'standard' pillow is available. I contacted Pillow Cube customer service who informed me that the Standar 4" thin Pillow Cube would not be restocked "for the foreseeable future." I suspect they do this on-purpose. My choices were to:1.) Pay the $50 up-charge for a Deluxe 4" thin pillow and find out if it's less uncomfortable2.) Return the pillow for 'store credit' and let them hold onto my money 'for the foreseeable future' until they maybe restock the 4" standard pillow (unlikely)3.) Return the pillow and pay a 15% handling fee.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I woke up every morning with either a neckache, headache, or both, and sometimes it was a migraine. I was concerned it wouldn't work for me as I am mostly a stomach sleeper, but it has worked wonders for me. In the two weeks I have had it I haven't woken up with a headache or neckache once! What a wonderful feeling to not wake up in pain!!! The pillow is made of a soft foam that your head sinks into, but not too far as it still gives good support. I describe it as sleeping with my head on a cloud. I LOVE my Pillow Cube!!!

It's TERRIBLE... will give you neck pain!
It's TERRIBLE. Gave me HORRENDOUS neck and back pain. I'm a side sleeper but this doesn't work on side OR on back. The truth is it's just too thick and there was NO way to customize the thickness. Not everyone has the same space between their head and their shoulders. I don't understand the audacity they have to say it works for everyone. I gave it to my husband who has wider shoulders than I do, and he NEVER uses it either. He says he'd rather sleep with NO pillow. Waste of money. Most expensive pillow I've ever purchased. Thank God I only bought one. I've since purchased a memory foam pillow on Amazon which allows me to customize the thickness by unzipping the pillow and removing as much of the foam as I'd like. That pillow was less than $30 and it's MUCH better than this stupid Pillow Cube.

Completely unimpressed by the product and even less by the subpar customer service. Then on top of that they have the audacity to charge me a handling for your $15 for them to ship the returned product to a charity. Why should I incur that cost? That's your responsibility! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

I love my pillow cube. I even take it on vacation with me. I tried so many pillows before this one. I bought a second one just for safe keeping in case anything ever happens to my first one. If pillows ever come up with friends and family, rest assured I’ll be bringing up how much I love my pillow cube.

This is a really good pillow for side…
This is a really good pillow for side sleepers, like me. It was recommended by our Chiropractor too.My reason for 4 stars is because I’m not too happy with the quality. The pillow cover zipper broke after only 2 washings. The cube foam has small perforations in it and one is ripping a bit after 4 months of use.

Their return policy is garbage. Like a previous reviewer said, they charge a $15 handling fee for returns and don't tell you about it until you try to return in. Don't bother purchasing one, they cause all sorts of pain that you didn't have before.

Poor return policy for a pillow that caused me pain
Disappointed with pillow and with return policy. After using the pillow for a bot over a week, I kept waking up with headaches. I tried to keep using it, hoping my body would adjust, but it hasn't. That's not Pillowcube's fault really, but the return policy is lame. They charge $15 for a handling fee, plus now I need to find a box that it will fit in since they send it in a much smaller box (the pillow is vacuum-packed). So, it's definitely not a risk-free trial. I'd be happy to destroy or donate it and get all of my money back, but I wasn't given that option.

worst instagram purchase ever
As someone who falls for Instagram advertising on a monthly basis, I have to single this company out for having been my worst experience so far. I tried their pillow and woke up halfway through the night with neck pain; switched to my regular pillow. I emailed them to return the pillow and they said they don't take returns, but would refund me if I could show proof of having donated the pillow. Turns out, none of the organizations in my area accept pillows as donations. I emailed them (though of course they already knew), and they said I needed to cut up/destroy the pillow and email them the pictures. At this point, I'd already wasted an inordinate amount of time trying to complete a simple return. If the company truly wanted their pillows to be donated, they would have made the necessary arrangements; instead, being well aware that most organizations do not accept pillow donations, they've come up with a time-consuming scheme designed to frustrate their customers so they make pocket their money. Until they inform their customers up front - before making a purchase - of how their "return/refund" policy works, they get one measly star from me. Oh and also, the pillow itself is awful. The only way this pillow is an upgrade is if you got your current pillow from the local dollar store.

Don't waist your money. I purchased this pillow hoping that as a side sleeper I would get the benefits of sleeping on my side without my arms falling asleep or waking up with a stiff neck. Instead, I got excruciating back pain that gradually got worse and worse. I tried everything to ease my pain. Not realizing it was from this pillow, I went 90 days instead of 60 before switching back to my regular pillow. I reached out to the company, but they refuse to make it right. So your satisfaction is guaranteed, but only in 60 days. Don't even waist your time. It took 3 months for my back to start hurting after use and they dont care.
