Slow and buggy
This software made me hate photography. It is insanely slow, every picture takes approximately 5-10 seconds to load. When editing multiple pictures, this adds up quickly. It is an insane pain to use. For everyone who isn't desperate and can afford Lightroom, don't switch to ON1.I have a fast system, 64GB RAM, RTX 3060 Ti. None of the fixes offered by on1 worked. Keep your hands away.

On1 Photo RAW is the most complete software package which allows support full cycle of photographs workflow….
I’m with On1 already more than six years. The most important On1 Photo Raw allows realize my ideas, not limit photographers with use only specific filters. New AI masking features allow to perform incredible changes. Now On1 allows to support compete workflow withouts use of any other software packages and third party filters (including conversion of scanned negatives!!!). I put 3 stars rating not because I don’t like On1, but because I see a lot of possibilities to make this software even better. Where I see room for improvement: 1) On1 Photo RAW now offers a lot of different features and options and user interface becomes overloaded with different windows sliders, tolls options. Like for example masking options, floating window or docked remains inconvenient. 2) Local adjustments and Effects better to combine into one because they have many common features. Tools in Effects Menu can always have mask and could be easily considered as a local adjustments. 3) while I am editing my photos, images on the screen looks not sharp. I know On1 long time trying to improve speed of editing and make reaction on changes made by different tools close to real time. Low resolution images easy to edit but current image quality on the screen really frustrates. I know On1 allows to tune up user interface to my personal liking but in any case the same image in Lightroom looks far more better. 4) Super Select Brush became significantly better with latest releases but precision of mathematical algorithms could be better. In most cases selection tolls works okay but photoshop and Lightroom making selection more precise. 5) looks not logical when all adjustment panels located on the right but tools panel on the left. Image export and resize tools on the right could be easily combined into single panel with selection brushes and other tool on the left. 6) tools on Effects, Local, Portrait could have more compact sliders to use screen space more efficiently. But text on panels sometimes hard to read because it has gray color on a dark gray background.

It is amazing software
It is amazing software - the only problem so far is the interface with my MS Surface Pro laptop with ARM processor. It has crashed twice on me, but opens up with no problem after re-start

Great tutorials and Products
The products themselves are easy to learn and use. Professional staff offers tutorials and tools to help learn how to use the product. Customer service always gets back to you. Being on a fixed income paying for monthly fees like Photoshop are out of the question for me. The cost of this product is even becoming more than I can do. Will use older versions. I am certain you will be pleased with this.

I'm assuming this is for the free…
I'm assuming this is for the free effects software. It downloaded fine. I'm however not happy with the new 2026 update as it has made my system incompatible and I'm not some rich guy that can go out and buy a new system anytime I want to.
