Scammed by this company
I needed to find a locksmith so I googled locksmiths in my area. I got the names of 3 locksmiths. I called them and noticed that it was the same answering service for all 3 vendors. They took my info and then a locksmith from the Mobile Locksmith Squad called me. I explained the situation with the locks. The next day the locksmith showed up. He did not do what I asked as we needed a "common area" key for the common area space in the Condo - he just made it a regular key. But the reason for this review is that he scammed me out of $52. The receipt he gave me did not have the company name on it. I suspect this is due to there really being just one company - hence the answering service. The cost of the service call was $69, the lock was $129 and the tax was $12.30. This totals $210.38. He added it up to be $262.80. He said I needed to pay by check or Venmo. I paid via Venmo. Some may think this is a small amount why bother - it is because it is not OK. I am in my 60s and truly believe he felt he could get away with it. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General. I also tried to contact company - did not get back to me and the locksmith - did not get back to me. I hope you do not use this company
