Not the Platform It Claims to Be
I’ve stepped away from LinkedIn for a while and locked my profile down as tightly as their settings allow. Despite that, I still get two emails a week telling me I have a new message or a connection request. Every time I log in, there’s nothing there. Not once.Normally I’d shrug it off, but then I saw one of their ads proudly displaying their “currently active users” which, in reality, usually just means someone logged in at some point in the last 28 days. That’s when it clicked: these fake notifications aren’t glitches, they’re engagement bait. And it doesn’t stop there. Even with my profile set to “unviewable,” LinkedIn still claims people are looking at it. How exactly does that work? Either the privacy settings don’t mean what they say, or the platform is manufacturing activity to keep users hooked. If LinkedIn is truly the essential, career‑boosting platform it claims to be, why does it need to rely on inflated stats, phantom views, and misleading emails? The answer is simple: it’s not about helping you network, it’s about keeping numbers high and shareholders happy. And if you’re paying for Premium, you might want to ask yourself what you’re actually getting for your money.

LinkedIn customer service is worthless
My accounts have been hacked and I have been trying for months to resolve the issue or to close the accounts. Instead the company continues to work with the hacker to keep the accounts open, despite my sending documentation to verify my identity. Their continued inactivity is allowing the hacker to continue to perpetrate their scam on the innocent.

Terrible service
I needed to create an account to progress with my application for a training program, and the process was absolutely terrible. CAPTcha loops, issues with google account syncing (have you ever heard of good ol' email and password?). It's not worth it for a service that provides no value to the average job seeker.

Viewed Profiles ARE A LIE!!!
Viewed Profiles ARE A LIE!!!Its COMPLETELY FAKE! So linked send me an emails says about 12 people viewed my profile (and shows me only 3). The it tells me subscribe to FREE TRIAL to see the remaining (when Trial ends there is a massive charge ofcourse). After I accept the trial, I cannot view the 12 people that it tells me they viewed my profile (THERE ARE NO 12 PEOPLE THAT VIEW MY PROFILE!!!) It was only the first 3. IT ONLY TELLS YOU THATS TO SUSBCRIBE!!!Guess WHAT???I unsubscribed immediately (and it goes like you will lose access to your currrent trial immediately!.. I am like yes sure i dont care). AFTER doing that, IT GOES BACK TO SHOW ME 12 HIDDEN PROFILES that view me and if i want to view them I HAVE TO SUBSCRIBE!I know FOR A FACT its a scam because i barely get any view.. maybe 1 to 3 view a month at best. So when it said 12 only in the last few days or so. I thought thats FISHY!NICE TRY LINKEDIN! NICE TRY!

I hate the fact I have to use it
It's the most inconvenient and hypocritical of social networks. But I have to use it because there are no other alternatives for corporate networking and job searching. And yet, I hope you'll make it more convenient and enjoyable.

The constant bombardment of AI slop…
The constant bombardment of AI slop videos is driving me off the platform. I barely see the posts of the actual people I'm connected with. Just people trying desperately to convince me AI is the future. No matter how many times I tell site I ain't interested, the algorithm keeps pushing AI.

Absolutely not interested in helping…
Absolutely not interested in helping you get your account back locked my account for no reason then I tried every single platform and option to contact them and sent my id and everything they requested, weeks and weeks for parrot fashion responses asking for the same information then I sent the last piece of if they requested and before my account was restored they closed my case and did nothing LinkedIn are dog 💩

I am looking for a remote, part time job
I am looking for a remote, part-time job. I input this information in LinkedIn's search engine. My results are full-time, on-site jobs. The search engine is broken; no matter how exact your information is, it still produces useless garbage.

I never wanted to join in the first place but somehow I got into it. It’s now impossible to get out. The whole website or whatever it is is horrible

Linkedin abuses auto-renewal
Linkedin abuses auto-renewal by withholding change to its service until after auto-renewal completes, and then you have to pay double to return to the previous service level.Interestingly, the timing of their actions proves their awareness of their own predatory behaviour because LinkedIn waited until the day of the auto-renewal to change the service. This shows they understand they cannot change a service model while under contract as that would violate contract law. But, they do it anyway at auto-renewal even though that negates it being a renewal.

Super annoying emails every day even…
Super annoying emails every day even though I have unsubscribed from all email notification. BS like „XY posted something“ and it‘s a company I don‘t even follow or „jobs for you“ and it‘s 2hrs drive away from me and I not even looking for a job. How is this supposed to be a professional site for jobs if you can‘t even get these things right?!

An Overhyped and Overpriced Platform
This platform has become increasingly influential and shameless over the years. And let no one be misled — this isn’t the only place where you can get these services. Most of the services are EXTREM overpriced, and the sales staff, stuck to scripts, are aggressive, no help and support, rules without support Chat gtp FAQs without links or old infos, robot chats if you find thems, and no thinking on Restrictions, after time and time again. Continuing headache with support witch always ready to sell you something. Cancelpolitik? yeah cencel your meeting before start 10 min...etc. for 10k-30k or more... contracts for years. Years in shit. No respect for clients. I recommend choosing another one — build another pipeline... beacuse this professional services for sales and hr are incredible bad. AND THERE ARE OTHERS ON THE INTERNET: Google it!
