This so called health care company is…

This so called health care company is literally straight trash the most unprofessional and rude as well as disrespectful and shady, crooked too and i could go on and on. They do not care about their employees or the clients they only care about money, money,money..... they make up lies about their care givers and talk shit about them to the clients they do not keep their clients safe nor their employees and they definitely don't have their best interest at hand also they do not pay you for all the hours you work they owe me about$2,000 and refuse to pay me because they have the system and paper work to where it'll cover them to do fraudulent shit the hourly pay is shit that guy Ruben that sits at the desk to the right when you walk in he is something else he slandered my name and made rumors about me and those other women working there in the office I don't know their names but I hope this place gets shut down the most unprofessional company and people I've ever, ever seen so please, if your looking for care giver services do not go to honor/zinnia on montana st. You will regret it and possibly even lose your loved one. Oh and also i give them 0 stars i only put 1 because 0 wasn't an option.

Unprofessional hiring process

Two days ago I received an email that the company is interested to have an interview with me. We have arranged interview on 27 th August on the Teams App and the hiring manager did not show up nor respond to my email with any explanation. This is the first time in my lifetime something so unprofessional happened to me !!

questionable people

These questionable people , organization received “ a star” because one had to be selected to write this honest reviewer about this pathetic, unprofessional, woefully immature workers at this place. Do NOT place anyone you care about with these inferiors. What a joke…what Honor write. Tragically pathetic. They are clueless how to manage a schedule or themselves muchless a vulnerable client. Lots of good places… this is not one of them.

WORST COMPANY EVER‼️‼️

WORST COMPANY EVER‼️ I was hired May 8th and after a week of no contact from my manger, I sent an email because I still wasn’t given a set schedule and it took her 2 days to respond and she gave me access for one-time shifts, only for every shift I applied for to be cancelled. When I brought this up to my manager she said “oh let me review the shifts you currently applied for” then the very next day they were all cancelled! I immediately sent her a message advising her I was resigning effective immediately (6/3/25) due to unfair treatment, because the shifts I applied for were all given to other Care Pro employees who had already full time set schedules and these one-time shifts were from my understanding OT shifts! So why give them the shifts and I’m sitting here not making any type of income? I turned down so many jobs cause this job would give me the flexibility I needed for when I start Nursing school, but they totally wasted my time and show favoritism. Don’t apply for this company they SUCK‼️ They don’t care about new hires and if they didn’t have any availability for me to work then they shouldn’t be hiring anyone because it’s pointless and very unprofessional!

I want to give this company a higher…

I want to give this company a higher rating, and I'm not a person who likes to write bad reviews against companies. Honor did have a good schedule mobile app that was convenient to pick up shifts and write notes about the activities for your job tasks completed while working. However, I think I was hired as part of a scam since after my hire date (April 1, 2025), I worked 14 hours, and I received my paycheck on 4/10/25, and I am locked out of my portal to access my pay stub. The portal reads another name that says, "Home Instead." This is different from my employee badge that says "Honor,," seen in the app on my cell phone. I contacted management, but they never responded to help me. In addition, I live in San Leandro. I worked in Berkeley on an assignment for an older woman who was kind and felt disappointed with this company because they send people who did not know how to operate her washing machine and dryer and her laundry was never washed for a couple of weeks until I arrived, I operated the washing machine and dryer without any problems. The other caregivers lied and said they did laundry for 4 hours, and management never did anything, but they seemed to penalize me for not completing a task that went undone. In addition, I was given assignments outside my area, traveling 44.0 miles to Saratoga and 29.7 miles to Daly City (28.7 miles) + bridge toll fees. I was not paid for gas mileage or bridge toll fees, and the job assignments offered closer to my location within 15.5 miles were cancelled. I was told the client had cancelled, and I had to accept at least two job assignments, or I would be fired. I'm not feeling well about this company, I told them I feel sick, and now all my job assignments have been cancelled and put on hold for one day until I feel better and complete a survey online to remove the hold I never heard from management when I asked if the survey could be mailed by USPS or sent to my email so I can print out a hard copy and send it to my doctor then send back to them, Management said, "Hi Briggette, we are unable to send this form via USPS" I never want to do business with them again, because it's all online business and doesn't allow for more non-verbal cues, immediate feedback, and stronger personal connections.

Honor Care Pro is the worst home care…

Honor Care Pro is the worst home care business ever if it would have let me I would have rated it a 0, it doesn’t even deserve a 1 rating. They cancel your shifts for no reason and then say you’re out of compliance and take you off schedule completely. no one returns your calls or text messages . When you do get ahold of someone they don’t seem to know anything about you.

Honor care use and takes advantage of their workers (they’re Horrible)

Honor care use and takes advantage of their workers I wish that we could report these people. They literally hired me, only to cancel my shifts and then stated that I was no show, after telling me to wait on confirmation I waited for the text/call that the shift was set and ready for me to fill they penalize me for their unprofessional misconduct there has to be a way where I can report this company.“Edited 11/5/24 after reviewing other reviews” I’ve never seen anything like this in my entire life…. I wish I have seen this before wasting my time going through orientation with honor that’s a whole waste of my time, changing my schedule entirely like they must be making money off taking advantage of employees this can’t be legal especially in California….. someone needs to step in!!!!! Omg!!!! This is unacceptable

The worst Home Care business ever!!!!!!

The worst Home Care business ever!!!!!!They are greedy and a poor example of what Home Care business should be. They treat employees with absolutely no respect if you do not comply with their order/request!Unprofessionalism is there key trait and treating employees like robots is their main character. This business need to come to an end. This is the reason they advertise so much!!! The best advertisement is in your service, not only with your clients but how you treat your employees. Total scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“We are all equal :Some are just more equal than others

“We are all equal: Some are just more equal than others” -George Orwell. If you are a favorite then the rules and laws don’t apply to you.You get better pay ,convenient clients and preferred hours and choices of location. If not oh well. They manipulate, lie, scheme stab you in the back and gossip about you. They are sneaky and righteous above the law. They have cameras with sound and audio in their clients homes. They owe me back pay,but not enough to take them to court.

The management and staff are not…

The management and staff are not helpful at all it takes them weeks to respond to the caregiver needs they are they do not protect the caregivers rights and needs and also they tell you not to do thing that are out of scope and still either put your work account on hold or fire you if you tell the client or them you don't feel comfortable doing out of scope work.

Terrible company to work for.

This company is completely inept at communicating with their employees. It's all via text, and if you're lucky enough to have a manager who gives a darn about you, or if you are a favorite of theirs to get any shifts, you might have it made. They dont keep their commitments to meet with you via phone, don't return your calls, etc. When I resigned, the HR manager didn't deactivate me or let the office I worked for know, Lo and behold, I was offered a shift 5 weeks after I resigned!! Terrible company to work for.

RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

This company truly deserves ZERO stars! Honor proves why a tech company should NEVER be in the home health care field. They have no idea what they’re doing and do not care about you anyway. Honor is a very self serving place without any regard or support for their clients or caregivers/care pros. My client (a senior in her 80s) has had to determine what her own bill was on multiple occasions because the Honor billing department could not figure out how to bill her insurance company and therefore repeatedly overcharged my client. My personal experience with Honor has been a horrible one. My former company was bought out and merged into this place. Honor told us over and over that they “had our backs” but it has been nothing but a blame game on their end. I have been blamed for using the wrong log in links (which honor provided) for training, being “unprofessional”,and countless other things. I had over 15 years of elderly caregiving experience before Honor and therefor had a slightly (about $1) higher rate per hour than minimum wage, but was not given a raise after a year and half because I “made above average wage”. I am punctual, care for my clients’ well beings, and very rarely take a leave of absence. I have much more experience, yet I am making almost the same amount per hour as someone with zero experience. Honor tracks its caregivers like prisoners. You are expected to be perfectly fine having your location tracked even during your non working hours. IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE, YOU WILL AVOID HONOR AT ALL COSTS! NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY TO HELP YOUR LOVED ONES! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

This company is horrible I do not…

This company is horrible I do not recommend this company to any care givers or people needing care. Unfortunately I worked with them for a couple of months due to the original company I worked for was merged with honor. I thought it would be nice but I was wrong. I pride myself in my work I go above and beyond when caring for others and I try to work as much as I can while balancing a full school schedule. Honor does not value its employees they do not care about what you put as your availability you have to constantly say the same thing to them everyday multiple times a day. It’s like they are bullies. Well I get a message saying they review care pros and I was flagged for something which they could not tell me but said they will tell me in 10 days it’s December 5th I hadn’t worked a shift for them since November 2 so I’m not understanding what issue I had that took a month to handle I only pick up one time shifts overnight mostly due to my school schedule I think when you can’t work when they want you to or drop everything you have going on in life make up lies. So I kindly quit and told them no need for a review and I can’t work for a company that send false acquisitions so beware if your company is bought out by honor run if you can I would never recommend this job to anyone plus my original pay I was getting before we merged was cut drastically and all the shifts they had available were almost 40-50 min drive to only get about $50 it is not worth it

THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL

THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL, almost felt like a SCAM ON SENIORS. Earlier this summer, my right humerus was fractured in a fall. I got sold a bill of goods by this ironically named “Honor”home care. I fell for the pitch, and I received a contract for home visits. I endured three before terminating service. The first “caregiver “ read my magazines and ate her lunch, despite being asked to do things. Another couldn’t run the dishwasher, and the third didn’t seem to comprehend anything I asked of her. It is not these workers’ fault. You need to hire better, almost certainly pay better, and do some better training.

Harassment of caregiver I pride myself…

Harassment of caregiver I pride myself on my work. But I’m an older worker. Many don’t think we should be at work. Honor manager named Kathleen repeatedly harassed me with false charges and then fired me

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would! My caregiving company was unfortunately merged to honor and I cannot emphasize how HORRIBLE this company does business and also treats their employees like garbage. First-the schedulers never got back to us caregivers. Our hours were cut drastically! My pay was never right. I always had to address many times when I was not being paid correctly! If you used sick time for valid reasons I would almost have to fight with the schedulers to use it to care for my family member ….Also good luck on raises. They don’t even offer reviews yearly. You have to ask for one then wait and wait and get a crappy raise. My HUGE issue was being fired for absolutely no reason! I had perfect attendance, my clients loved me as their caregiver, I also had tons of sick time I never used. I hope this company goes under for how awful they treat their employees and their clients. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!

I'd steer far away from this home care…

I'd steer far away from this home care agency. They cared for my elderly aunt last year and the incidents that took place under their care were horrific. For example, one time they claimed to have a staffing issue and were not able to provide continuous care. The overnight shift caregiver purposely left the front door unlocked with a wheelchair bound elderly person alone in the house for 3 hours just so the next caregiver could get in. We're in the San Francisco Bay Area. With all the crimes that have taken place in the last few years, they thought it was a good idea to leave a disabled elderly person in the house with the front door unlocked. Another incident involves another caregiver not helping my aunt up when she fell onto the floor. It's been a few months since we stopped using Honor but the entire family is still traumatized by what they did. We're now having to seek legal action against them.
