BUYER BEWARE!!!
BUYER BEWARE!!!! Do not purchase any items from this company! I purchased an ice-cream machine from JES restaurant equipment, and we purchased the extended warranty when we purchased the machine. On July 2, 2024 our machine stopped working several days before our warranty would end and due to the 4th of July holiday weekend JES was on limited hours so I left multiple messages, when they called back I tried to file through the warranty that we paid additional for through Wayfair they could not find our warranty info and stated JES never filed it. JES had agreed to pay for the repairs due to their error for not registering our warranty info for our ice-cream machine and Stoelting agreed to send us the parts as they were still in the 2-year window and were covered under the manufacturing warranty. I contacted several repair companies to fix the machine and spoke with over 10 companies none would do the repairs as they all stated they never get paid and no longer work on any Stoelting machines. I finally found 1 company that was local he came out diagnosed the problem and said that the machine looked brand new we must have gotten one with a defect as we had barely used it to its full potential as a commercial machine, he stated the machine looks brand new still. Carl the head manager with JES said they would cover the diagnostic fee and repairs I sent them over the quote, and they then said the repair company was charging too much and to find another local repair company, but they would still cover the diagnostic fee and reimburse me for the fee (they never did). I then reached out to Stoelting to see if they had anyone they recommend, with Carl from JES on a 3 way conversation. They both stated any local or small company or handy man can fix the machine. Stoelting sent all the parts as they had said they would do. I found and used a local handy man as they had requested, Carl with JES said that he spoke with his managers and they agreed on the price for the repairs of $1350.00 and said to go ahead and have the work completed. They still have not paid for the original diagnostic fee that I paid out of pocket for $124.20, they were going to reimburse me but still have not. The repairs were completed; we needed a whole new motor installed not a typical repair when the machine is not even 2 years old with minimal usage. I submitted the invoice for the completed repairs as requested by JES and now every time I call or email for the last month no one calls back or even responds to my messages. I would recommend anyone reading this post to not purchase any items with this company as they did not honor the warranty we had paid for and did not pay for the repairs or anything they had discussed in email.
