Less than 3 years ago I purchased the…

Less than 3 years ago I purchased the built in microwave oven from Jenn Air. About a month ago the touchscreen started not working. I can’t operate it because there is no physical button. I recently bought a less than $100 microwave from Toshiba on Amazon while waiting for the replacement part (on back order) and it’s so much better than this Jenn Air crap which costs 30 times more. Pure GARBAGE!! Stay away from Jenn Air. I should have gone with Samsung or LG. I’m so frustrated.

Pissed OFF!!!

I have been a builder for 40 yrs. I used Jenn-air products based on their quality product UNTIL my 3 yr old hood fan stopped working and can't get a replacement based on " Backorder " I can't cook without smoke setting off detector and have NO answer on how long the fan will be on backorder. I bet they are still installing fans ion hoods they are selling!! DISGUSTED!

Jenn-Air provides zero support - spend your money elsewhere

3 years ago I invested in a double wall oven from Jenn-Air (yes, *invested*). The main electronic component died, and we've been waiting 3 months for the part, repeatedly being told 'it's on back order and we can't tell you when it will be available'. Every attempt to reach anyone for actual help, or more meaningful information, has failed. I'm absolutely appalled at a 'luxury' brand that totally fails to provide any customer support.

If I could choose a zero star for Jenn Air I would

If I could choose a zero star score, I would. We purchased Jenn Air products for our new kitchen in 2020, and already most appliances have failed, including: induction stovetop, refrigerator, freezer, microwave. It’s absolutely and utterly unbelievable how disappointed we are in our Jenn Air appliances. Do not buy them…period.

I shopped for Jenn-Air 5 years ago

I shopped for Jenn-Air 5 years ago, Hate the refrigator, it stanless steel and rust is coming thro, had a stove top which I really loved but the 3rd year, after warranty, parts were still under warrenty and the element blew, just wanted my part for the stove, they could not replace the part, don't make the part anymore, so they could and would not replace it, so I went with a different stove top after dealing with them for 3 months. Had to recut my counter top. Have a dishwasher, oven with microwave, so far so good. I would Not ever get Jenn-Air. Every thing was put in my new home around mid.2019. I finely wanted to put in the review because of my refrigator, now rusting.

Horrible Product Support

Our ovens are 10 years old with very little use. A board went bad and Jenn Air says they don't make the part any more and I have to buy a new oven. What horrible customer support. Ovens don't wear out that fast. How nasty to discontinue support and make you throw the expensive ovens in the junk pile.

Very bad Jennair customer service and products

I purchased a JennAir refrigerator three years ago, and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. Within these three years, the refrigerator has had multiple issues. Every time I contacted customer service, they apologized and sent a technician, but the solution was always to replace parts of what was supposed to be a brand-new fridge.Several different parts have been changed over time, yet the problems never fully stopped. On my last call, a manager told me that JennAir would replace the refrigerator if further issues occurred but they did not.Now, I am facing another problem: the refrigerator door is not aligned, and this alignment was done by JennAir technicians themselves. When I contacted customer service again, I spoke with a manager named Max, who said that this problem was our fault due to improper door alignment, even though the alignment and previous repairs were handled by JennAir. He also mentioned that the earlier part replacements were related to airflow issues.After three years of repeated problems, technician visits, and part replacements, I am extremely frustrated. I expected much better quality, reliability, and accountability from a premium brand like JennAir. Sadly, my experience with both the product and customer service has not met those expectations.

We purchased a JennAir wall oven and…

We purchased a JennAir wall oven and separate microwave convection oven a little over 11 years ago. The touch screen control panels on both ovens failed with the same error code on average once a year. (And that with minimal use.)Failure would occur when not in use and repair was very expensive each time when not under warranty. The last time they failed (both at the same time) replacement panels were 3 months back ordered forcing us to purchase a table top oven to get us through Thanksgiving and Christmas that year. I have kept the JennAir ovens going by turning off power at the circuit breaker and only using them a couple times a year. The rest of the time we rely on the inexpensive table top.

JennAir: Absolutely the worst!

Based on my experience and in my opinion. Absolutely the worst set of appliances we have purchased. If that were an option, would have rated Zero stars. Advertised as high-end with a premium price tag. Bought all appliances from this brand by trusting the parent Whirlpool brand. Bad workmanship on trims, cooktop burner labels that are stenciled on and disappear with regular non-abrasive cleaning. To top it off, installation by Best Buy was an unmitigated disaster- shoddy, uncaring…never again! Microwave magnetron gave up just outside of warranty, now dishwasher is malfunctioning. Stove hood has such sharp edges that one could easily lacerate one’s head. Buyer beware!

I have purchased the high in Jenn Air ovens - $3,000 every 3 years because the control boards keep failing - never again - tired of changing out ovens.

we purchased a complete set of…

we purchased a complete set of appliances from Jennair in 2017 - this included a wall over/microwave and a gas oven range.Over the past 7 years they both have shown error code -Error code F2E1 stuck shorted - year one they replaced the panel - instructions have been cut power turn it will reset - that is until now August 2025 - multiple calls no answer - chat bot offers 20% off a new one (unit is upwards of $8000) and the part is $2700 - but back ordered indefinitely - if we had done our due diligence we would have read how many of their oven units have this issue - i want to believe they would fix it and look after previous customers but here we are .......... regardless there will not be another whirlpool or Jenn air product - their customer service is sub par at best - if you can even get through their operator

Absolutely horrible experience with my…

Absolutely horrible experience with my JennAir stovetop. It broke within two months of normal use — and here I am a full month later, still waiting for it to be fixed. For a brand that sells itself as “luxury,” the quality and service are anything but.The appliance failed out of nowhere, customer service has been painfully slow, and every update feels like another delay. I’ve had cheaper brands last YEARS without a single issue, yet this premium-priced stovetop can’t make it past 60 days.Save your money and your sanity. I will never buy JennAir again.

A year of delay and $7000 oven in trash

I want to let everyone know that I purchased a double oven that worked fine at the beginning, but when it stopped working, I contacted the parts department. They kept delaying and postponing the part for an entire year. After all that time, I was left with no option but to throw away a machine that cost me over $7,000. This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with a company.

Terrible after-care customer service

Terrible aftercare customer service! I spent over 10k for a panel ready fridge which was missing several parts. After several failed deliveries to the wrong address they still have not delivered the part needed to attach the panel on the fridge. Do better Jenn Air! Top price for the worst aftercare service.

Rusting dishwasher only in new units

Rusting dishwasher in 2 new units, 2.5 years old!When installers opened boxes, water poured out! They assured us that this was not unusual since units are tested before shipping. Yes, but they’re are dried as well, not ours however.Hinges, trays, and tray slides are rusting We have the best water treatment system installed with lowest dissolved minerals, so can not blame it on caustic water. Manufacturer declines responsibility.

I purchased a JENN AIR gas cooktop

I purchased a JENN AIR gas cooktop - I would highly avoid purchasing this product pr any Jenn Air product - as the product I purchased is a HUGE SAFETY CONCERN,a nd although they are aware they have done NOTHING. I reached out to Jenn AIR as I burnt my thumb due to the design issue, and they sent out an expert to review the product - their expert did a complete review, took pictures and issued a report. He clearly articulated the significant safety concerns and I know he sent the report to Jenn Air. Jenn Air to date has not reached out to me and if fact I have left messages following issuing of the report, yet they have not made an effort to reach out to me. I can only assume that Safety is not a concen to Jenn Air. I will look to upload the report issued by their expert. This should speak volumes about their guiding principles.

Bought a Jenn Air duel fuel range

Bought a Jenn Air duel fuel range. Model JDS1750MLFan (Upper fan) lasted less than 8 months. Close to impossible to get repair service to fix the problem. Really thought we bought a high end range , not so much!

Shame on Jennair

Shame on Jennair. Our rather expensive cooktop came with a Melt cap, a fancy accessory that one can use to melt chocolate, etc. It was chipped, so we asked for a replacement. 6 months later it showed up, horribly packaged, and unsurprisingly more chipped than the original. Totally unacceptable under any circumstances, but especially for a company that presents itself as high end. This will be the last Jennair product we buy, or that anyone we know buys if we can help it.

Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible. I have had my JennAir fridge for maybe 13 months. I have had it serviced at least 8 times and asked for a replacement and they told me that it isn’t their problem. Whirlpool is beyond brutal for customer service and once again my fridge’s ice has jammed again today after it being fixed 2 weeks ago. It is the same problem every time and it really is such a basic function. We had a Samsung that worked better before this fridge which says a lot about their fridges.
