Very user friendly
This app has made it easier for me to achieve worthwhile study with tutors who are flexible to my hours. I think the prices are reasonable, and there is lots to lear!

Finally, accessible hope to learn a new language!
Got introduced to Italki through a friend, and I've not looked back since. Easy to get setup, and a really good environment to get into some immersive language learning.

Excellent learning experience
I’ve had a great experience with italki so far. My teacher is excellent, professional, patient, and very clear in explanations. Each lesson feels personalized and productive. The platform itself works really well: it’s easy to schedule classes, the video quality is good, and everything runs smoothly. Highly recommended!

The teachers have varied but generally speaking they’re very good and I’ve enjoyed my conversations. The connection however, has been very variable and I’ve been spending a lot of time reconnecting and getting cut off and I feel that it’s not giving me my moneys worth for that reason.

It was very easy to find a great teacher to aid in learning Japanese! I had previously only had experience with GENKI text books and self studies. Having someone to help teach the language was so helpful I was struggling with speaking and understanding how a conversation should start finish and end. Thank you Teru Maejima you are a fantastic teacher

do not trust them with your money
do not trust them with your money. they always take the side of the teacher and if the lesson is cancelled you lose your money, they dont refund you. I had a situation where i booked and i paid the teacher. then the teacher was constantly emailing them to amend the hours to hours that did not suit me. As a result i lost my money and the teacher put the lesson incomplete from my part so she gets paid and i lose my money.also on purpose the teacher sent me these new hours, 24 hours before our initial lesson, as a customer cannot cancel the lesson within the 24hours to the lesson. completely crooks.

Already great, could easily be awesome
The video thing isnt working properly, often lag or jumps during a conference. Everything else is quite enjoyable. Also having trouble to find my favourite teachers once I saved them

Great Supplemental Resource
I'm using italki in addition to a popular language learning app, in person meet-ups with the local Alliance Francaise in my city. My tutor Lamis has been great. She is engaging and nice. This has improved my confidence in learning French.

Individual lessons are great. Group lessons are not good
I can only comment on the one on one instructor. He is fabulous. The conversation group classes are not good. Trey don’t teach you anything. And once I paid for five and found out it was not good I could not get any refund. B this is not a good program. However I love my one on one teacher. He is fabulous and I’m learning a lot.

There is a good assortment of tutors for making a perfect match with the students. Safe payment gateway and a user friendly learning environment.

This is a great app
This is a great app. Found a German tutor for my son. Unlike other tuition apps or sites there's no monthly charge and you can pay as you go for lessons (there's a small processing charge of about $1.34 per booking). Highly recommended.
