Excellent opportunity
We had few experience with HomeExchange, but a wonderful experience. Our guest was respectful, friendly and took great care of the home. Communication was smooth and easy from start to finish. We would very happy to exchange again. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Exchanges…could be a better online platform for finding exchanges

Great for travellers, with opportunities for improvement for homeowners
The service if unique and provides great options to us as travelers. The owner EX can be improved by including self-guided prompts for visitors at check-in. GP are also not intuitive and lacks customization features.

Customer service is really poor. Noone gets back for a long Time . I could not verify my account for weeks for which reason , I do not know and the return was very slow . My 1st exchange review iş still not posted after weeks and I know K submitted my review the date I checked our as well as my guest .The idea is great , but there are soMany people who do not answer to inquiries and there’s not much advanced filtering in the platform , so I needed to spend hours and hours while I was looking for a place in Barcelona . I think members who do not reply repeatedly should not he a part of the platform aş it becomes very frustrating for others who want to want the system work

I have had success with guests staying at me but very little success to make bookings or use my points that I went out on a limb to accumulate I have had no response with accommodation where I would like to travel Collected many points but seem unable to use them where I’m wanting to travel

Communication is a lot easier with HomeExchange
They help make communications flow easier. There can be a lot of people messaging but the automated declines makes it easier to maintain comms. This platform is truly what makes the internet great.

Home Exchange: a Wonderful New Way to Travel
I joined HE recently after my son & his wife recommended it, and just hosted our first guests for a week while we were away in Mexico. Overall our experience has been extremely positive and I'm very impressed with the organisation (the concept, values, the quality of the app and its ease of use, the communication with hosts, and security in the event of a bad hosting experience).

After 3 good years our activity is almost dead. We have no points left and receive no requests. I think you have too many total members and to many members that just use HE to market their VRBO property.This is probably our last year

my website came up Spanish instead of English and it took quite a few days before I had a response on how to fix it We love HomeExchange, and this was a bit frustrating. We could not change the language. Instructions came, of course in languag to change the Spanish words and we are unfortunately are not fluent in Spanish thanks for trying. We eventually got it with some help from others.
