I’ve been a member for quite awhile
I’ve been a member for quite awhile. Until recently, it’s been wonderful! But recently something seems off. A few weeks ago, I didn’t receive my shipment at all and was only reimbursed the shipping fee. And this week, an entire meal was missing and not packaged with the same care. So I’m not sure where the problem lies, but I hope it’s fixed soon.

Quality of vegetables isn’t great
Quality of vegetables isn’t great. The last few weeks, at least one or more of the meal instruction cards has been missing. I can pull it up on my phone, but I think the package should come with everything included.

Alright food, bit pricey
The food is alright, ingredient quality could be better. Some items will come close to expiration or almost starting to rot. It's a bit pricey, I wanted to try the service to save money but it's difficult even with this service. If adding snacks were an option it would be nice because it feels like the meals aren't enough sometimes. It can also be somewhat difficult to gauge what dishes to cook first because some ingredients from specific dishes go bad quicker than others. Delivery service they have is a bit dodgy. They don't follow delivery instructions and the last time I placed an order, they straight up didn't deliver and just marked it as delivered.

Initially great! Now OK!
I initially though the first few weeks were great but I find now that the produce I am receiving is not as fresh as it used to be. The veggies a little more brown/wilted, the garlic cloves are smaller, etc....It is still good as it helps me get dinner and sorted and on the table in decent amount of time, but I would prefer to feel like I am eating quality produce.

Your app sucks. I need to cancel this coming week’s delivery because I will be out of town. I’m sure it’s possible but I cannot figure it out.

Best Plan
The meals are nutritious, delicious, and varied. The packaging demonstrates care and thoughtfulness. And the recipes are creative and actually fun, helping me become a better cook. Every so often, the company throws in an added surprise. Nice! We.ve tried other plans, Hello Fresh beats them all.

Missing Recipe
I received the two meals ordered. However, of the three recipes enclosed in the box, only one was pertinent to the enclosed meals. Fortunately, I was able to find the missing recipe on your website and screenshot each step. I was able to use the saved screenshots to prepare the meal which was quite tasty.

The food and shipment are good and…
The food and shipment are good and fresh upon arrival. However, this is the second time the delivery driver just left the package in the entranceway of my apartment building for anyone walking in or leaving out to grab. I put the security code in the comments but it was ignored. Though I’m in a decent area, that doesn’t mean people won’t take your stuff. I can tell all my future deliveries will end up this way. I’ll either cancel or find a way to pick it up.

The meals are excellent and very tasty
The meals are excellent and very tasty. The one thing I would recommend is improvement of the shipping box which if delayed in shipping they condensation from the ice back leaks out and wets the cardboard box badly. Container needs to be water proofed.

love what we have had so far
love what we have had so far. I wish there was a more diverse recipe selection. I feel there are way too many asian dishes. I wish there were classic foods or french versions. I do love that we can substitute proteins or veggies when ordering. Im supposed to get free breakfast items but I never get one. I get the free protein because i dont see free breakfast listed and what I do see of breakfast, they wouldnt be something I'd pick. Just my opinion.

Very good to delicious recipes
Mostly the food is very good to delicious depending on the dish. Food selections are really good and include calories and nutrients. All meals are fairly easy to prepare. I have had a couple of episodes where the recipe card(s) were missing. Your staff did send printable copies—but I really want the cards and I feel like they are part of the price. They did not offer to send them later. Also there have been a couple of times when a different meat has been sent—like ground pork instead of chicken. Luckily I don’t have any allergies or sensitivities. I also wish you would get better tomatoes. I know it’s winter but there are now red tomatoes any time of years. Yours look and taste anemic.

I gave a rating of three stars because I really love HelloFresh. The recipes are really good and I enjoy having all the ingredients necessary to cook the dish.The reason why I didn’t give HelloFresh a higher score is because much of the time I receive my delivery, there are some ingredients that are missing. When this happens, I don’t necessarily want a refund. I want the problem fixed. I want the ingredients that I need to complete the dish. So one way that you could improve my experience would be to have a separate delivery of the missing ingredients, or create a system, where someone double checks all the ingredients before the bags are delivered. This was not an issue when I first started, HelloFresh, but has become a problem. Thanks.
