Driver cancellations are ruining the experience

Filed a claim after a fender bender that was clearly not my fault and what followed was six weeks of the most exhausting back and forth I've ever experienced with any company. Every time I called I got a different representative who had apparently never looked at my file, forcing me to re-explain the entire situation from scratch each time. Eventually got a settlement that didn't even cover my repair costs and was told to take it or leave it. Never again.

I get conflicting emails

I get conflicting emails, paid my bill, by debit card received confirmation, bill is paid even got my insurance cards, then they turn around and took a double payment, can't afford that, now I have to drive without insurance, as a senior citizen, with no family what choice do I have thank you Biden and pritzer

Rate went up four hundred dollars and nobody could explain why

Renewed my policy this year and my premium jumped nearly four hundred dollars with a perfectly clean driving record and no claims in over three years. Called to ask what happened and was given a vague answer about "market adjustments in my area" that explained absolutely nothing. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for forty minutes before giving up. Switched to a competitor the same week and got better coverage for less than my original Geico rate.

Roadside assistance left me stranded

Broke down on the highway at nine pm on a Tuesday and called Geico roadside assistance expecting the help I've been paying for in my policy for four years. Was told the wait time was three to four hours. Three to four hours on the side of a highway at night. Eventually called a private tow company out of pocket, paid two hundred dollars, and filed for reimbursement which Geico partially denied. The one time I actually needed them they were completely useless.

If I could give Geico a 0, I would. I called the Geico headquarters phone number, not an 1-800, 858-513-5500 listed on their headquarters website for an auto quote.The number connected me to a scammer who was able to set up a policy on their website, charge 2 different credit cards and also an unknown credit card. BEWARE of this scam..they offer a promo for $400.00.Geico is aware of this scam and won’t take action to protect your identity from being stolen. I did not go to a fraudulent website, I called the company headquarters phone number. I have not been able to reach a fraud complaint number within Geico and was told even if I file a report, they will not respond. I was also told by two different agents that they are aware of this happening to many people. Please pass this information on to everyone you know to NOT USE Geico as they are unscrupulously irresponsible to protect you from identity theft.

I searched AI & Google for information on Geico Insurance; I found most complaints were about contact with an agent and return calls. E-mail is what some said they would only deal with, which is a waste of time for the patron. When I asked for a quote, they would not provide me with one because they demanded an e-mail. Wow! What a waste of time for a client to have to type all they need from your "supposed" agent. The negative reviews for GEICO have merit.

If I can save 1 person from putting…

If I can save 1 person from putting their trust in GEICO Travelers home insurance, then my review did it's job. I had Travelers home insurance since Dec 2005. Never put a claim in and then after a snow storm, the front landing on my home collapsed. Travelers denied the claim. Stating that it collapsed due to prolonged wear and tear and not because of the event itself. I had to take a loan from a bank to pay the 4 thousand dollars it cost to replace. Please please please do not trust these crooks. The guy Nick Giannaccini worked 3 weeks night and day trying to find ways to get out of paying the claim. In the 20 years with these con artists, I have paid way more than 4 thousand dollars. They don't deserve one star. Find someone else for your home insurance needs... You'll go bankrupt keeping them if anything happens to your property.

I found geico online I was charged $150.00

I found geico online I was charged $150.00 per mo. as a female and 55 yrs old. I needed insurance asap so i paid it. This price was suppose to be for basic insurance nothing else.I decided to check and see how much it would be to add my significant other, the price was the same. I figured they made an error and i signed out.I did not pay the following month i was loooking for something cheaper. Now i have received a bill for $63.12, for what? My significantother also received a bill for $63.12, for what?FRAUDULENT COMPANY

GEICO has rude staffing not behind its customer especially young people they are not behind their young people. I would not advise you to get GEICO. they raise your rates for no reason i’ll be shopping around for a new car insurance

Stay away from Geico

Called in the same day to cancel my auto policy renewal since I found a much cheaper insurance company. Geico still insisted on charging me one-day premium. Paid the $20 bill to avoid their additonal negative actions. Will never come back after staying for 9 years with this greedy company.

Horrible car insurance company

Horrible car insurance company. They will spike the prices in a heartbeat. Was a client for over 15 years And then got hit by someone insured by Geico have months upon months of doctor's appointments for my back that they will not cover after a couple months. This company is absolutely horrible and will try to write you off on a claim and a heartbeat without even thinking twice and will total out your car when it's not even totaled out so they personally don't have to deal with it horrible car insurance company

Worst experience ever as a customer

Worst experience ever as a customer. They don't return calls, emails, or messages. They don't explain claim processes and then say "Oh sorry, there's nothing we can do'. Wish I had read reviews first.

Said I had a past due balance which is fine but when I asked a rep on maybe letting someone know before signing up that there is a past balance before just taking money she laughed and hung up on me. Horrible customer service. Will be canceling my policy asap

Rip off, dishonest company

I was a loyal customer for over 10 years. Even with just liability on a 2006 vehicle I was paying way more a month than I do now with my current insurance company. Also, my parked car was hit and totaled by a drunk driver one night, and surprise surprise, they don't cover that. I got more money for parts from the junkyard. I cancelled my insurance with them after that and will never use them again. Also this happened in 2024 but the date of experience thing won't let me go back that far. Also, it's been a while, I found out I was driving around with no insurance for a while because of a "computer error" on their part my auto pay wasn't taken out so they cancelled my insurance and I didn't receive a phone call, email, or even a letter saying it had been canceled. Rip off company.

GEICO has easily the worst website of any major company. It repeatedly kicks you out in the middle of obtaining a quote, very glitchy and never works to try to go back to the quote you were working on. Most intelligent companies want your service, so they send you an email with a link to continue your quote. They deserve 0 stars!!

I was with geico for 13 years I had a2018 Cherokee I was paying 174 when I switched over to a 2024 Cherokee the lady tells me your new payment is going to be 350 a mth how in the hell u go up 90% that is crazy they are the worst and there rates go up every year and when u ask they say well thats the new rate I left and switched to a different company never again

Geico rip off

From the time I got my geico policy they constantly increased my premium until in finally changed to another company. Then when I canceled they added a extra charge for canceling. I only had one claim while having many years of service and they denied that claim. Don't give them your money. They will raise your rates every year.
