I bought some expensive napkins and was…

I bought some expensive napkins and was promptly given a large discount only to find that because of this they would not accept returns under any circumstance. This should have been made clear earlier.

My new ‘go to place’ for gifts

Purchased Leaves Linen Wool Fusion blanket for an elderly relative. She absolutely adored it and was blown away by the quality. The whole experience - from placing order to receipt of it was impressive.

Appalling experience

Placed an order over three weeks ago, no sign of delivery. Appalling customer service - no replies to calls, live chat or emails.

Avoid at all cost, or it may cost double!

Would have given zero if it was possible. Purchased an item when it was on sale. They took the listed price amount from the payment method attached to my PayPal, but then refunded it and charged double the price that I'd bought the item at. Emailed them when I'd received a notification from my payment method and again when they emailed to say they'd despatched the item. They didn't bother to reply. Terrible customer service and very underhanded to refund the purchase price and then charge double! I would avoid this company at all cost!!

Beautiful Linens and Hassle-Free Delivery

Ferguson’s Irish Linen is absolutely fantastic. You can tell they genuinely care about craftsmanship—every piece feels thoughtfully made and built to last. The quality of the linen is top-notch, with that perfect mix of softness and durability. Their designs have a classic, timeless feel, and it’s clear they take pride in keeping traditional weaving techniques alive. On top of that, the shipping and delivery were super easy and hassle-free—everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. If you’re looking for beautiful, high-quality linens that actually feel special, this is the place to go.

Quality products

Quality products, unbeatable in my opinion. If I have the family over and use the table linens I always get compliments. I even got myself some sheets for summer for the bed. Highly recommended.

Poor quality and poor customer service

About seven years ago, I was given three FIL large (c. Emperor size) linen sheets as a present from my family on a significant birthday. I was absolutely thrilled – we were still using some of my Grandmother’s Irish linen and I had long dreamed of having some of my own .. to hand down in the same way. These new sheets were rotated with two other cotton sheets: each of the sheets was used for one week roughly every four or five weeks – so let us say each sheet was washed 11 or 12 times a year, after the week’s use. After about 5-6 years, I found a tear in one sheet, which was very upsetting, and I asked the company (FIL) for a small piece of the same linen, which they supplied, so that I could patch it up – obviously the sheet could never be quite the same, but it was better than throwing it out. Within a year, both the other sheets developed tears, not just small tears but in one case, huge great shreds… where the material had simply ripped through, it would seem, a weakness in the material. In all cases, the tears were not in areas where you might expect there to be lots of stress. Each sheet had cost, with VAT, about £250 so to think that after no more than 60-70 washes, each one of them was unusable, was shocking and upsetting. (The original gift included three pillowcases and so the total spend with FIL had been just under £1,000.) I wrote to the company, returning the worst sheet.. and asking them to compensate me in some way – suggesting one new sheet would be acceptable. They responded saying they would do nothing, as they had sent me the material for the patch about a year earlier, and didn’t even apologise or express disappointment/sadness. When I wrote back, after their very stiff and formal rejection of my request, they didn’t even bother to reply. So before you choose to part with money in buying what is pretty expensive linen, think very carefully.
