Bought a 1973 Jaguar E-Type S3 2+2 from Dan back in 2016.. couldn't fault his dedication & service. Arranged everything even though the ex Santa Monica California car was then up in Canada.. very happy with the un-rusty, unmolested, un-sun damaged (as garaged from new with blacked out windows), genuine 1 prior owner car with just 42,000 genuine miles on it. Would buy from Dan again
I bought a Porsche 930 from Fine Automobiles in 2018. Daniel promised everything, but the car turned out to have a hidden front damage and I was left alone with the problem. I can not recommend to buy any classic car at this guy, you will experience a lot of sales talk, but as soon as a problem is occurring you will be left on your own.

The transaction was too easy. They didn't pick up my car until I had the money in my pocket and felt 100% secure about the sale. Did everything they promised and kept in touch the whole time. Great guys and honest!
I purchased a vehicle form Dan on eBay and was in receipt of the same "happy go lucky" and "friendly" attitude as some of the reviews below. The rest of the transaction however did not follow suit. Instead, after finding out the vehicle had been woefully misrepresented, Dan refused to return my deposit stating it was non refundable and had been spent on vehicle transportation which I hadn't yet requested! After I once again requested the safe return of my deposit he opened an unpaid item strike on eBay. AVOID THIS SELLER AT ALL COSTS IN THE UK unless you are going to fly your own assessor out to view the vehicle which is what Dan suggested I should have done. I REPEAT - AVOID AT ALL COSTS THERE ARE MUCH MORE HONEST AND PERSONABLE SHIPPERS AVAILABLE!I will be detailing my full experience in December's Car and Classic
I had a Jaguar XKE for sale and Dan called me and made a fair offer. Dan's happy business-like manor impressed me and I accepted his offer. Payment came immediately and the vehicle was picked up quickly afterwards. All in all a very good experience.
I met Dan about 2 years ago while helping a friend sell off a small collection of cars. I was impressed with Dan's honesty and generosity and promptness during this transaction. He paid a fair price and actually bought 5 cars out of the collection. Dan even made it worth my while for contacting him and paid me what I think was a generous finders fee. Everyone went home happy, and since that time I have continued to recommend him to friends and family looking to buy or sell.
