Evo NIGHTMARE

I had my hair coloured at Evo hair themselves. they offered a global colour using the new line, I ended up walking away with four different colours bright orange roots (exactly like hotroots) dark orange underneath, blonde and purple length, and that is after their attempt to fix what they did, I now need to see a blonde specialist and spend $300+> to have it fixed. They offered for me to go back to correct it for a second time, but who would trust them... and this is Evo themselves!I'm now trying to get them to take responsibility for the bill and pay for what they did in the first place, and I'm being ghosted. Will never use Evo or their horrible products agai. Would give minus starts if i could as this entire ordeal has been traumatic to someone who has nightmares about their hair falling out as its an important identifier to majority of women out there.

Bad Service

Ordered hairbrush. Did not arrive although my card was debited. Emailed the company 4 times and not had a single reply ! Tried their chat which is never live. So I would not recommend this company.

Evo Springsclean Deep Clean Rinse

I purchased the Evo Springsclean Deep Clean Rinse in June 2024 but only began using two days ago once my previous products ran out. With my first use, the smell was offensive, I wish I had paid more attention to the fragrance notes as it is definitely a masc scent, woody/musky/borderline cheap men’s deodorant to the point it gave me a headache within an hour of washing. Also important to note the product does not lather at all, so it is difficult to tell if you have effectively cleaned sections and it just feels as though you are only cleaning your hair with water and no product. I washed again the following day as I needed to remove product from my hair so it was fresh for work, and it left my hair absolutely greasy, so much so my fingers were visibly oily just styling with a hair straightener. Immediately washed my hair after work this evening as I couldn’t stand it, reverted back to my previous cheaper shampoo until my new (non-Evo) products arrive. Very disappointed as now I’m not eligible for a refund as I did not return it within seven days of purchase, absolute waste of money and will not likely use Evo products again even after my hairdresser recommended it. I’m unable to leave product reviews directly with the Evo website but have found others who had the exact same issue on other website review pages, so hope this will help before anyone makes a costly $46 mistake on a product that may not suit

Very average

Very average. When I scanned it with INCI beauty app, it put my hair cream to 0. Plus it has silicones and alcohol not friendly to my curly hair. Won't go back to this brand for sure.

Just terrible : Professional Stylist Review

The products overall are just terrible. Professional hairstylist here, and these products just make my job much harder because they simply don't work, or make the hair extremely greasy or don't clean the hair properly and they smell of either literally nothing, or of this unexplainable foul smell that I can only compare to B.O. which makes me struggle not to gag. The names of the products are somewhat amusing, but what I find more amusing is how I can use any evo product and instantly regret it afterwards. The products are extremely flimsy and constantly fly around the salon at the slightest gust of wind because of the plastic used, which I can only guess was fished out of a sewage pipe due to the foul smell and then labelled as recycled plastic. They are not Bcorp certified which is surprising for a brand that bangs on about how good for the environment it is.I don't go anywhere near these products and recommend my clients against it, because at the end of the day, it's overpriced trash that wastes time and money and quite frankly makes me laugh. The colour products are average at best and the only styling product that seems about average is the shag for mullets, but even then it can only be described as 'bland' and 'lacking', which in my opinion should become their new motto.I take my work very seriously, therefore if this was the last brand of hair products in the world, I'd still chuck it in the bin without hesistation.
