Epic games support is a actual joke spent the last 9 years building a account with over 300 skins 400 pickaxes over 1000 emotes and more then got hacked the other day by some dude in Berlin Germany then I put in 2 account recovery requests and they denied both of them even tho I gave supstancial evidence that the account was mine I don’t even think they investigated it

The Support doesnt help they only ends the Chat when they cant handle the situation. This ist the biggest shit company i ever got in contact with. Never use this bullshit Platform

Nonexistent customer support. My account got hacked and they have done nothing to get it back despite all the evidence that proves I started the account. There was a prior email where I canceled the account changes made by the hacker, but that did nothing and they got my account anyway, so their security measures are trash. Do not waste any time or money on Epic Games.
EGS refuses to update the email address on my account, which I have had since the early days when Fortnite was first released as a beta game.The email connected to the account is no longer valid, so I cannot make any changes myself.EGS also refuses to accept legal documents that prove the account is under my name. I can also provide bank transaction records and the payment card I used for a purchase I made a few years ago.They asked me to complete the account recovery form using the same IP address and ISP that I previously used to log in, which I did. The only difference now is that I use a different operating system.The account recovery process does not work properly, and the customer service from EGS is very poor. 1 star.

Linking steam with epic account is not streamlined at all, i just want to play rocket league, i don't want to spend 30 minutes googling and fighting Epics terrible UI. There is no option to sign in to existing account when you "connect to epic servers", you can only sign-up, which of course i can't do because "an account with that email exists already blablabla" So i have to open an incognito tab, log in to epic, find the option to link accounts, log in to steam, confirm email "we've noticed suspicious log in blablablabla". Dude im just trying to play a car game i don't want to spend 30 minutes logging in to all my accounts and confirming emails and all of this other bullshit, jesus christ just put the option to sign in via google or something Epic. *Edit* So i managed to finally sign in to epicgames (after i cleared my internet cache) and i linked the steam account but now when i startup rocket league it STILL prompts me to SIGN UP to epic games WHICH OF COURSE I CANNOT DO BECAUSE I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT AND THERE IS NO OPTION TO LOG IN TO AN EXISTING ACCOUNT. So yeah guess i'll just play something else... it shouldn't be this much of a hassle to play any game.Wonderful experience.
Genuienly the worst launcher experience you can get. Worse than ubisoft and that says a lot. Slow downloads, slow navigation, so many bugs. Horrible. Please move unreal engine to somewhere else.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with Epic’s customer support has left me genuinely disappointed.I purchased the Music Pass and completed almost the entire thing, missing the final two tiers. Due to what appears to have been an in-game display issue, I was unable to clearly see the pass expiry date. When I logged in the following day, the pass had been replaced, permanently locking me out of the final rewards — despite having paid for the pass in full.I raised a support ticket explaining the situation clearly and calmly. Initially, I was told it was not possible to grant the items. After escalation, the wording shifted to it “not being standard policy.” This suggests that while technically possible, discretion was simply not exercised.Most concerning was the handling of the complaint itself. After requesting further review, the ticket was closed without response. No meaningful engagement. No acknowledgment of the service concern. Just closure.I understand companies must apply policies consistently. However, when a paying customer misses completion by two tiers due to what may have been a system or visibility issue, refusing any goodwill gesture — and then closing the complaint without further dialogue — does not reflect well on a company of this size.This experience has genuinely made me reconsider future purchases. Not because of the items themselves, but because of how the situation was handled.I hope Epic reviews its customer service approach, particularly around discretion and complaint handling. Players are more than ticket numbers.
I was able to log in for Rick Band about a year ago. It is what it is..... The website is garbage. Tried logging tonight with same account, no such luck!!!! Just a revolving door of redundant prompts..... Thought this would be better than Guitar Hero!!!! I guess I'll put my money with them!!! Both are trash!!!!! Rock band support is even worse!!!!! Sold me a product I did not receive, and then refused to give me a refund, support was very rude and slow.Luckily I payed with PayPal, PayPal refunded my money for product not received. Lesson learned: pay with Paypal, and don't buy stuff from epic games Store.

I have been using Epic Games for a few years now, to the point of having over three hundred games with them. I recently got hacked, my account was transferred to a different email address even though I have 2fA. Trying to recover the account has been a nightmare, I talked to robots most of the time then when I get a human they are reading from a hym sheet. they give me instructions I follow said instructions and it turns out I can't do that because I need a code which I don't have, I return to ask for a code and I am shut out for twenty four hours because I have already talked with support.This is unreal over three hundred games gone, three hundred, I will never go back to this nightmare of a platform. this is why steam is the best company to deal with. I am honestly so sad and annoyed. but looking at the rest of the reviews I am not surprised.
