Getting accepted was easy and painless.
How easy it was to fill out the paperwork. The ladies I dealt with were amazing. The pretty much did everything and if they needed something they reached out pretty quickly.

I am enrolled in CIAT at this time. The program has a large network of resources and support for students. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, bootcamps, certification testing vouchers, resources like Crucial Exams, Career Services support, "which offers a vast amount of resources as well," all at no additional cost to students. You just need to take advantage of them.
They work with you to make tuition affordable
Mayra Varela was the key.
People of color beware - I was told that I look like an illegal by a career counselor on our scheduled 1 on 1. If you have another option, please strongly reconsider. When I escalated to department head I was told “she is just repeating what she hears on FOX news”.
Exceptional Staff
CIAT is great so far because of the helpful instructors and the overall experience is fun! I am looking forward to the live lectures and for receiving my certifications. Definitely would recommend!
Very helpful staff
I love ciat its the best school i have ever went to. They helped me so much through my journey and i just completed my associates in cybersecurity.
I withdrew from the school and program last year due to having covid. They are still emailing me/sending me money. I also believe they are still collecting financial aid or student loan money from the FAFSA application that I completed last year. I want my account to be completely closed like I asked it to be last year.
Everything is done so timely and efficient. They really care about their student's time and will accommodate when they can. The resources they give you to succeed and get certs are very good.
The enrollment process was great. Overall, I think that CIAT is a good technical school, especially for veterans who uses GI Bill and cannot afford to go to a brick and mortar school. A lot of people think that having a degree can get you further, which is true, but you need to have a solid plan and strategy to make it work. CIAT can give that credential, but it's up to the student how to effectively use that credential. I am not really sure what is up with all the negative complaining. You have to put in work to succeed in CIAT. You can't just show up but not really there and expect to have a good outcome. Anyway, my CIAT experience is so far so good. They need to hurry up with the Bachelor's degree FAFSA eligibility though, and maybe start thinking about getting a Masters program.
My experience was smooth from start to finish. The staff was responsive, the process was clearly explained, and i felt supported throughout. Communication was consistent, and everything was handled profesionally. I'd recommend CIAT to anyone looking for a straightforward, helpful experience
The admissions process was so easy. All of the staff were very helpful in pointing out the up's and downs of the process. On top of almost not having enough to pay for the class, they were able to help find a loop hole in order to pay the$500 I still owed. Thank you California Institute of Applied Technology for everything!
The staff was awesome. They made everything so pleasant the whole process .
I appreciate CIAT for being organized and professional. I'd especially like to thank my recruiter, Aaron Mareno, for being available and taking the time to walk me through the onboarding process. I'm looking forward to my future through CIAT.
Just started, class. Everything seems great so far.
Slow. Password issue. Authenticator is bad.
