DO NOT ORDER FROM COMPANY

DO NOT ORDER FROM COMPANY! Delivery instructions were not followed I purchased for my daughter’s birthday and they delivered it to the lobby sat by the restroom in public so anyone could grab a cookie. Instead of delivering to the suite/office name and address all listed along with phone call to recipient. Waste of money and ruined the surprise birthday present.

I wish I had looked at these reviews before I ordered from Cheryl's. I requested for an item to be delivered on 20 February it is already out for delivery five days early. That is unacceptable. I've chatted with a chat agent about it who told me to message back once I saw it was shipping too early. So I chatted again today with someone. I told him what the deal was their response after holding for like 10 minutes was oh I see you're checking the status of your order. No did you even read what I just sent to you. I'm trying to find out why my order is out for delivery five days early it was told to message you guys back about this once I saw that it was out for delivery. Left on hold again no one seems to want to give an explanation then he came back on the line and said oh it will be delivered on the day that you requested. OK if it's already in the town that it is going to five days early I asked him I said so what they're just gonna hold it somewhere for five days even though it's showing out for delivery? Asked him where he got his information and no response of any kind of help. Learned my lesson goodbye Cheryl's shame on you order from somewhere else

Do NOT recommend. Seems like a SCAM business.

Ordered as a Valentines gift on 2/7 and was charged to my PayPal on that day Delivery was promised on or before 2/13. By Valentines Day cookies still were not delivered. In tracking I found they had not even been shipped yet!’ Customer Service had NO explanation of why they had my money but no intention to deliver the cookies. I would NOT recommend this place. Seems like a SCAM to me.

Does not deliver on time

Cheryls is not to be trusted. They give you a delivery date and miss it by over 10 days. You cannot count on them at all. Buy elsewhere.

Cookies are delicious

Cookies are delicious! Definitely overpriced, but maybe not compared to other mail order gifts. I’m just not sure as I don’t do mail order treats much. If you watch for sales and coupons you can get them for around $1/cookie. I have ordered from here multiple times for myself and as gifts. I have had a couple deliveries be a day or 2 late, but my most recent delivery was 3 days early, to Indiana, even with the impending ice storm. I’d say if date it’s important order way ahead of time and keep an eye on the tracking.

I ordered a birthday cake with an early…

I ordered a birthday cake with an early delivery date so it would arrive on time. When it wasn't received by the recipient on the delivery date, I contacted Cheryl's Cookies. There was no customer service number so the only option was a chat. Eventually chat connected me directly with customer service. They couldn't find my order at all through FedEx tracking, so they offered to resend my order at no charge, how kind of them to not charge me for what I already paid for. The recipient's birthday had passed at this point, so they said they can deliver it in two days. Well, those two days have past and tracking told me it would be another two days before it's received. By this time it is well past the birthday. Not happy!

No delivery, and no notification

My order, which Cheryl's Cookies debited from my account on 12/19 for a 12/23-24 delivery, never arrived. What's more, I had to proactively go to Customer Service on 12/28 to find out that "we ran out of that item, so we couldn't fulfill the order." The agent couldn't answer why I had gotten no notification. I asked for my order to be refunded and will not buy again from this family of companies (1-800-FLOWERS, Cheryl's, Shari's Berries, etc), who clearly need to figure out their delivery issues since that is supposed to be a key differentiator of what they offer.

Terrible

Ordered $100 gift on 12/10/25. They confirmed shipping and delivery date of 12/16-17/25. No delivery!! Chatted with customer service every day from 12/19-23/25-They could provide NO FEDEX TRACKING NUMBER!!$ Ruined my Christmas present for my neighbor. Got a last minute gift through Edible Arrangements. Never again with Cheryl's Cookies-NEVER AGAIN!!

I would leave zero stars if I could

I would leave zero stars if I could. I placed an order for a Christmas gift five weeks early and it still did not arrive on time. I attempted to engage with customer service, which was incredibly slow. I've been talking to them for over an hour (it's taken them that long just to look up my order and give an update) and do not yet have a resolution. I'm not sure if I will ever get what I paid for (late) or if I will have to file a dispute with my credit card company. Cheryl's does not value your time or business - spend your money with another company that does.

I have attempted multiple times to purchase cookies with specials, shipping $5.99 flat rate and shipping today $6.99 neither attempt allowed me to purchase with promised rate. I questioned via chat and and was told to contact the company directly. With precise instructions shipping was as high as $27 and as low as $12 nothing matched to what was advertised.

Terrible - no edits to order allowed at any time for any reason

Terrible customer service. Tried to adjust order of 4 cookie boxes to a larger (more expensive size) just minutes after the order was placed and was told it wasn't possible. Spent an hour with customer service on the phone and with a live agent chat and no resolution, just kept saying that there's nothing they can do.

Customer Service is Abysmal

I tried to cancel my order within 10 minutes of placing it. I was in the chat window with "Ramsel" or "Ramcel" for over 30 minutes. Eventually, he said my order was cancelled. Instead of a cancellation confirmation, I received another order confirmation. I checked the website, which still said my order was confirmed. I logged into chat again, this time with "Khyle." I explained the issue. He said he could send me a cancellation confirmation. What I received was yet another order confirmation. I've now received 4 order confirmations. When I tried to tell "Khyle" about the latest order confirmation, s/he ended the chat. Just FYI, this person can't spell the simplest words. My order number in the confirmation emails is different that the number on the website. I've ordered numerous times from this company, and I've never had such abysmal customer service. "Incompetent" doesn't begin to describe it. If I can't get a cancellation confirmation, I'll be disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Not so good

Cheryl's Cookies are much too sweet and somewhat tasteless. You could easily bake your own and they would taste much better. I believe Cheryl is also the owner of C. Kruegers Finest Baked Goods. Buyer beware.

Awful customer service for cookies that cost $2+

I wasted 45 mins trying to get a phone# for Cheryl's Outlet in Obetz, OH. The shipping charges to place an order were way too expensive. To avoid that, I wanted to buy directly at a store. Online, the closest Cheryl's to me was in Obetz. Not being sure if it sold directly to customers, I wanted to call them & ask. The phone # on the website was disconnected. I talked to "Chat" which was very slow & unable to help. I called 3 or 4 800#s which were also unable to assist me. Finally called Home Office & got the info. Their cookies are so expensive they should have better customer service.

Is there a 0 start option

Is there a 0 start option? The absolute worst and the fact that they don't even care make a zero-star rating too much. Should have read the reviews first. Ordered on Sunday, Nov 2, 2025, said delivery Thursday, Nov 6th. Now it's Nov 7th, and delivery is not until Monday, the 10th. I paid almost as much for delivery as for the cookies, using FedEx. Customer service is simply nonexistent. "Once your order leaves our hands, it's out of our control". This response is totally unacceptable. If you have an upset customer, there should be other options available, such as refunding the shipping charges. I am not requesting a refund for my purchase; I paid for a service and expect it to be fulfilled as promised. Never again will I use Cheryl's. Update Nov 9, 2025. After finally chatting with a customer service person, they agreed to refund the shipping charges. I was going to change my star rating to two stars because of that experience. However, once I got the email confirming the refund amount, I found out it was from 1 800 Flowers. I had no idea that Cheryl's was even part of this organization. I have had issues in the past with dead flowers arriving for birthdays and flowers not even showing up from 1 800 Flowers. Cheryl's needs to advise customers that when placing orders and delivery methods, it is being handled by 1 800 Flowers. Save your money and aggravation, use someone else. I stick to my 0 rating.

Terrible!!!! Never got my order

Terrible!!!!If you actually expect something, don’t buy from this place. I bought something for my brother’s birthday and it never arrived! I was guaranteed for three days straight that it was arriving that particular day! Customer service was always “terribly sorry, they knew how frustrating it was” Yet never came up with some sort of solution. Never again

Ordered at 1352 EST and tried to cancel…

Ordered at 1352 EST and tried to cancel order at 1451 CST. Was told I can’t cancel because order has been processed and is ready for shipment. Also the live agent said, “Thank you for understanding”. Excuse me I don’t understand why I can’t cancel an order 2 hours later on a SATURDAY. Will NEVER order from here again. Way too expensive for such awful service!

3rd consecutive Late delivery

3rd consecutive Late delivery. With each late delivery I don’t know why I didn’t learn my lesson but three strikes is an out. Do not order from this company.!!!!

LONG SHIPPING

Unless you want to wait 2 weeks for your cookies or pay an absurd shipping up charge do not order from them. When placing my order I was given an ETA of June 24-25. I just tracked my order and now it is saying expected delivery is June 30. Took over a week to get the cookies. They shipped on Mon. June 23rd but because they use Fed-Ex Smart Post, which it did not say at the time of ordering and is the cheapest possible way to ship, they have now sat in a Fed-Ex warehouse for over a week during a heat wave and they want to tell me they will be fresh when my friend receives them. Never again.
