BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE. I purchased a sunroom from Champion 3 years ago. My warranty was for 15 years per my contract. I called for service on 12/11/25 and now it is 2/16/26 and no one has contacted me for service. I have talked to 4 different people at Champion with no results. At this point they have no service on their products. I assume I will have to take legal action at this time. The windows are sagging after 3 years; I can only assume the windows where not installed properly.

Wayson out of Lexington came out and…
Wayson out of Lexington came out and did an excellent job presenting the Champion window solution. When he left I didnt have any questions. He was thorough, the next logical question is the next thing he is showing. I felt very confident I understood what I needed to know about windows.

Doesn't quality for energy efficient tax benefit
We just returned from the tax office. After scouring the internet and waiting on hold with the Champion home office to get the pin that would authorize our tax break, we discovered that Champion doesn't qualify for the energy efficient tax break due to its low UV rating. In addition, we've experienced the frustration others have complained about: very poor communication and service delays. So far we've had no big issue with our doors or windows (though not impressed with the screens) but not at all happy to see the bad reviews on its warranty since we live in a hurricane zone.

Do not use this company
Do not use this company. They don't have what they sell. They install horribly. They try to install lesser quality stuff than what you paid for. They ruin your personal property while installing and try to say they didn't. They can't get a window from their factory without scratches all over them. They take as long as they please without regard to you or your schedule. We were stuck with them for over a year and a half simply trying to get what we paid for. Their customer service is less than nothing.

Poor customer service post install
The sales rep was great and very helpful, which made the experience start off well. Unfortunately, everything after that went downhill. The installation took much longer to even begin than what was promised. Then, a piece of siding fell off over two months ago.Customer support was responsive at first and said someone would come out soon, but it’s now been over two months with no repair and no response to my follow-up inquiries. Meanwhile, water from recent snowstorms has been getting behind the siding through the missing area and into my garage, which raises real concerns about potential damage.Based on this experience, I would not recommend Champion Windows and Siding.

STAY AWAY
STAY AWAY: A $10k+ Lesson in Amateurism and Deceit1 star because you can’t give ZEROIf you are looking for professional "black windows," do not buy from Champion. My experience, which began on July 23, 2025, has been a six-month masterclass in poor craftsmanship, logistical failure, and utter disrespect for the customer. The "Premium" Black Window ScamI was very explicit during the sales process: I wanted a true black exterior. I paid extra for this "upgrade." What I received was an embarrassment.• The "Spray-Paint" Finish: These aren't manufactured black; they appear to be white windows haphazardly sprayed black. Upon delivery, the frames were covered in scratches with white plastic peeking through. There was even black paint overspray on the glass.• White Channels: Champion fails to disclose that the sliding channels remain stark white. From the street, you see a black frame with a cheap white stripe down the sides, top and bottom. It looks like a DIY aftermarket paint job, not a professional product.• The "Fix": Their service team suggested spray painting the white channels—which would obviously rub off the first time the window is opened.Incompetent Installation & MeasurementOut of four windows, one was under-measured by a staggering 2.25 inches in both directions. Champion’s own tolerance is 1/4 inch. To "fix" it, the installers literally propped the unit up on a 2x4. This massive error delayed my entire siding and painting schedule for months. One photo even shows an exposed nail holding the trim on—zero attention to detail or safety. The Screen Saga (7/23/25 – 1/31/26 and counting)• Sept 9: Original install. No screens provided.• Nov 7: Re-install appointment. No-show.• Nov 21: Window replaced, but screens arrived in white.• Dec – Jan: I have called weekly. Every 30-minute call requires me to re-explain the entire history because their internal notes are a mess. Every time, I am told "it's on the next truck." It is now January 31, 2026, and I still do not have the screens I paid for in July.Zero AccountabilityI have never received an apology. Field reps are flippant and rude. Management is "always in a meeting" and never returns calls. They have your money, so they simply stop caring.Bottom Line: Champion is selling a lie. Their "black windows" are a cheap, painted imitation of a premium product, and their customer service is non-existent. Go with a competitor; literally anyone else would be better than this.

Take of two windows
Ordered two windows. A bay in the front and a garden in the rear. Were told that these were the highest priced in their line up.Measured and after several weeks they came to install these. They cut through an electrical line in the front room during installation And then tore out sheet rock to fin a new electrical line. Leaving unfinish fry wall and tons of silicone filler at the joining surface topping the window. Kitchen window was ok but when the opening mech failed they wanted $135.00 for a service call on a lift time warranty window .Save time and money and go Anderson

Champion was a no show
Rep texted prior to appt-asked if all decision makers would be present as they have deals that are only good day of. I explained that I wasn't keen on that strategy and maybe cancel appt. He proceeded to tell me"if that's the kind of deal you want, you should be shopping at Home Depot or Lowe's...I mean I'm just putting that on the table". Maybe not a very professional response. I rescheduled appt (requested different rep). They were supposed to show up 11/05 at 6pm. Nobody showed up, nobody called or texted. I texted them, no response. Texted again, no response. If I can't even get a professional rep to come out, I have to assume that's reflective of company culture - high pressure sales, not customer centric.

It's been 4 months now on a warranty…
It's been 4 months now on a warranty claim to replace a window sash that failed. Warranties are great if the company offering them backs them up in a timely manner. I've chased and chased Champion and to date, still have no idea if the window sash has been produced or where it is.

Corporate info about local Champion didn't synch, was told I could drop off my screen door to be fixed. No one was there door was locked, it was 3:30 and it was supposed to be open to 5.Update: corporate customer service reached out and apologized. The office should have times posted. If they are closed at 3pm makes extremely difficult for the working person. I was off work and was the only way I could drop off 2 days later.

Mistakes and no communication
We started working with Champion in May of 2025. We ordered several windows and doors. After 2 different measurement appointments we made it to installation day for our windows. 4 of the windows were the wrong size. 2 of them where not up to code. We were assured this issue would be addressed. After a third measurement appointment. We were told that when our windows were installed no caulk was put around the outside to seal them. We were told that issue would be addressed as well. It is now September. We still do not have our doors from the original order. The 4 windows that were wrong have not been replaced. The framing on the outside of the windows remains uncaulked allowing water in around the sides. I have attempted to reach out to champion repeatedly with little to no success. Communication with our local team has been almost non-existent. Working with champion has been a mistake and I would advise others to look elsewhere.

If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would. Today 9/6/25, I had a very disappointing experience with Champion Windows. Sales rep Steve was invited into my home where he promised me a 7.99% rate for 180 months based on my 756 credit score. I even asked how did I get such low rate, he told me because with my credit score I was considered a prime borrower. But after signing an electronic “applicant acknowledgment” form, I was suddenly presented with financing paperwork at 13.99% for 120 months. Not to mention, this caused a hard credit inquiry.Because he collected my SSN, driver’s license, and personal information under false pretenses, I totally freaked out and was forced to place a security freeze with all three credit bureaus just to protect myself. Not to mention my anxiety is through the roof now.He apologized for misleading me while walking out the door but admitted, “I’m a sales guy.” He reminded me of the scorpion-frog fable. The dude is 67 years old, I expected honesty and integrity — instead, I was misled and pressured. He also knew I am a veteran, and still chose to take advantage of me, or so he thought. On top of that, I was misled about Champion’s sunroom services. When I first called, the office rep (Tara) told me that Champion is not building sunroom in Florida until October. But during the in-home visit, the sales rep said Champion doesn’t even build roofs — meaning they can’t build a sunroom unless a separate contractor builds the roof first. That is not what I was told when scheduling.I walked away from it, but not before my credit was already impacted and almost 3 hours of my Saturday totally wasted. If you’re considering sunrooms or financing with Champion, be very cautious and read every detail before signing anything (or just avoid them altogether) Transparency should come first, but in my case, it did not.

Awful customer service
While I like the overall appearance and quality of the actual windows themselves, I have had numerous customer service related issues including:-Initial error while providing me my quote which I signed...........despite the salesman checking with a supervisor, it was written up incorrectly and my bay window couldn't be replaced as they quoted me and came back with a higher price which I refused to accept because it was their error. It was resolved but with a lot of time and effort on my part to find regional supervisors who actually helped.-Work itself was relatively well done with a couple of sloppier caulking areas that I asked the installers to clean up before they left as I was inspecting my job-Fast forward to about 17 months after my windows were installed - a broken pane which is likely due to extreme weather changes/cold winter etc - sounds easy to fix right? Wrong!!!-Regarding the window repair, a service ticket was initiated late January and here it is September and it's not fixed - multitude of problems including a measuring error on the part of a tech who was here in February that was discovered in June when the tech went to install the new pane-There have been what I perceive as lies told, excuses made, lack of communication, failure to follow through and I was assured a repair today as the first appointment from 8-12 due to a work commitment and that didn't happen so once again I wait for hopefully a repair next FridayI'd sadly never recommend this company to anyone. In fact, I had a neighbor ask based on how it looks and I told him stay away from Champion!

Their website customer reviews dont tell the whole story
I don't know how Champion thinks there is a way to make right the problems we experienced on installation day but here goes. Our salesman (George) did a masterful job and offered what we thought was a decent price for a new front door with sidelight. We are happy with the end result. I asked George to connect me with a local customer so I could see their installation and ask them about their experience. George said no problem and he found a willing Champion customer. Problem #1: when I tried to get an appointment with this customer I got no reply. Promise but don't deliver. Problem #2: the two-man install crew spoke no English. BIG problem when it came time to communicate my concern about how they were attempting to install our expensive door by shimming it at the bottom to close the BIG gap at the top. We were finally able through the use out smart phone language translators to get the install on the right track. Problem #3: During the install I called George and Eddie (local guy I gave payment #2) to see if they could help with the install somehow. They ghosted me. I was able to get Paul (?) on the phone and he assured me that the crew was trained and capable. I wasn't convinced because of what I had seen so far. The crew finally agreed with me to attach a piece of plywood on the sill to raise the door and give it a firm base to rest on. That worked but why didn't they do that first instead of trying to make up 1/2" to 3/4" gaps all the way around with shims. Not so well trained. I've built my own home and im glad I was watching the install otherwise Im betting our new door wouldn't stay in place for very long. Problem #4: we received an email advising us our installation was scheduled to start between 0800 and 1000. We specifically asked for a start time at noon or later. I was able to get the start date confirmed for noon or later. Problem #5: the install crew arrived at 1100 and we weren't ready for them to start yet. I suggested they take lunch and return at noon. They did. At this point I admit that all the negative reviews I read online (there were more than one or two) that said that communication in and around your company was not great are true. At the beginning of this I mentioned that we are happy with the result and we are. How we got here is the rub. If anyone asks where got our door, I will tell them but they will also be given my buyer beware because of all the issues that probably shouldn't have occurred. My unsolicited advice is don't send non-English speaking installation crews out unless the homeowner speaks the same language. I hope we have no warranty issues.

What ever you do not buy windows from…
What ever you do not buy windows from this company. We have been trying to get the trim and installation done right and can't get anyone to call back. Now having to hire another window contractor to come out and fix everything. Filled a report with the State of Utah. It's that bad. Once they get their money they run.

Don’t waste your time
The product is good, but the customer service is beyond awful. I have called and left 3 messages over the past 13 weeks (I waited the 10 weeks they said it would take them to build the replacement window) and have yet to receive a return call from Shannon. They claim to have a lifetime warranty, but if you cannot contact anyone, it is useless. I would NOT recommend anyone use this company for any purpose.
