A lovely welcome in the ticket office (one star already), but mid November - £8 per adult and £2 per dog...walked the castle wall in about 5 minutes, couldn't go in the house, the herb garden was a mess, and the restaurant was shut. That was a more expensive 15 minutes than sitting in the pizza restaurant opposite.
Took way too long to get drinks and food plus the meal came before the drinks the food was nice but nothing special the chips were almost flavourless the waiters were nice though.
