Horrible customer service
I ordered a needed book on the 11th of January. And I paid the extra fee for expedited shipping. 11 days later and I still have not received the needed book. I have tried contacting customer service and only get the option to message a bot. I would not recommend this company to anybody

As an 85 year old on $800/ SS, I rented a used college book for my Granddaughter. Since I was ill and in the hospital ER, I missed the return notice for 2 weeks. The company immediately changed me for the late rental return over $150 which is over $200 with rental, 25% of my monthly stipend. Checking on line today, the book is valued at $17 dollars. No response from the company after emails were sent. Hopefully, the State on Kentucky will provide me with my options as a Senior Citizen

Terrible! It took over 2 weeks for my school book to arrive because they had the wrong address, and then I was promised an access code to get into the course material, which turned out to be a lie! I had to purchase ANOTHER access code to obtain the Cengage material. Ended up costing me over $300! I do not recommend buying from Bigger Books.

Textbook Rentals
I rented a book from this site (which glitches all the time and is extremely difficult to navigate) and got a confirmation email. Then when there was no update for a week, I sent a request to find out where my book was. Then I contacted customer support. Neither emailed me and finally I used the chat option. They told me the card had failed. If that was the case, I would have expected an email notifying me or no confirmation email. I would have expected notice that I wasn't receiving a book, especially a textbook which I need by a certain time for my classes.

Do not trust this website if it is anything important. Ordered a book and half a week later they inform me that they didn’t actually have it in stock (after they took payment).

Sounds like a SCAM to me
I rented a book from this company and when it came time to ship it back I was not provided with a shipping label. After reaching out to them they replied to my email about two weeks later and provided me with a shipping label. I sent back the book and was told like two weeks later that I sent the wrong but. I was apologetic and told them I would immediately send back the correct book. HOWEVER, the book they claimed to receive from me was a book I have NEVER heard of and definitely didn't belong to me. I went back and forth with them via email explaining that I believed they had my contracts book because that was the only other book I had that semester. After getting nowhere with the representative I asked to speak to a manager. A manager was supposed to reach out to me within 2-3 days. It's been 3 months and they have the correct book I rented from them in addition to my contracts book that I got charged full price for because I didn't return the rental in time. If you are sending back a book to this company make sure to take pictures and document everything!

Ordered a used book, nothing happened after 10 days. I wrote them for an update, then I was told the order was cancelled because my account look suspicious. What? It was a first time I had any problem ordering stuff online. This place sounds messed up. If you don’t have the book, don’t take the money. If you indeed find my account suspicious, notify me the order was cancelled. Wasted my time, will never use this site again (and ecampus.com since they have the same operator).

Canceled my book and didn’t let me know. The book price then went up $100. I reordered and it was waiting in the processing que for too long so I had to cancel. Do not recommend. 0/10.

Book turned out to be unavailable as supplier did not have it. Seller canceled the order and refunded the payment, which is fine, but did not notify me of this. I only learned of it when I was sent a satisfaction survey about this order and I checked its status on the web site, as I couldn't rate it when the book had not arrived. So, two points (neither really important, but you asked): don't list items for sale and accept payment for them when it is not certain the item is in stock and when it does need to be canceled, just let the customer know. That's all.
