Oven broke after less than one year, terrible process to repair

We actually had a Bertazzoni range (gas/electric combo) in another house, and liked it despite our neighboring townhome owners having issues. Unfortunately we decided to purchase one for our new house when we moved, and after less than one year the oven completely stopped working. After a huge process to get an appliance repair person out, they said our electrical was the issue and we spent $650 for an electrician - but this was not the issue. After deep internet diving we ourselves diagnosed the problem, and it took another 4 weeks to get parts and fix (easy fix once the problem was known). We are out $650 plus 6-7 weeks w/out a working oven, and would NEVER recommend Bertazzoni again.

Good range with temperature and controls easy to navigatre. Needs a digital upgrade for accurante cooking and temperature

MAIN BURNER DOES NOT IGNITE

Missed the Bertazzoni 3 day response window about below review. Please reopen window as stove issue is unresolved. Purchased a Bertazzoni 30” Professional Series all gas range. When you pay $5700 for a stove, you expect the burner to ignite! Not so with our stove. Called Bertazzoni and was told it was out of warranty. Stove was 2 years old. Called dealer I purchased from and the service company will come to look at for a $325 diagnosis charge, before doing any repair. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS STOVE!

I bought a Bertazzoni 24 inch electric…

I bought a Bertazzoni 24 inch electric oven PRO series in 2020 in São Paulo - Brazil. It had broken 2 times already, in 2023 and now 2026. The worst thing is that it was the same problem, it just stopped to heat. Worst experience ever. I have other luxury appliances including Miele that never failed. I do not know but the premium price we pay for a Bertazzoni oven is much much better spent in other brands. I wish I had the opportunity to go back and just buy other brand. Now I am stuck with a premium brand and if I decide to change and to not fix it, it just feels like throwing money away. Definitely, Bertazzoni luxury brand does not stand for longevity.

No distinct markers on settings knobs

The knobs for the various settings don’t have a distinct marker to allow users to know whether what they have set is correct e.g the temperature setting and no temperature indicator to show actual temperature.Another observation is that the halogen light is located at the top left corner so it is not able to light up the whole internal area. My recommendation is to locate the halogen light at the center of the top ceiling so that the whole internal area is visible.

Bertazzoni oven handle bar need improvement

This is our 2nd Bertazzoni oven bought and happy with it. The new oven(new model) has additional heating functions than the previous model. Only setback is the handle bar on oven has glass panel attached to it same as my previous model and glass break when flexing force on the handle when opening the oven door. Great if change to aluminium handle bar.

Bertzzoni appliances are poorly made

Bertzzoni appliances are poorly made. Refrigerator handle design is idiotic. One tiny screw bears all of the pressure. The oven range sucks too. One burner doesn’t work and getting repairs is impossible.

***BERTAZZONI IS A SCAM***!!!!!

***BERTAZZONI IS A SCAM***!!!!!! Do not buy any products from this company unless you wish to burn money on fire. We bought two products from them 3 years ago - one an oven and another a fridge. Our oven broke about 2 years ago and we waited months for the part to come in that was on back order. Now, our fridge has been broken for 4 months because the control panel stopped working and is on back order. In those 4 months we have tried every way POSSIBLE to get in contact with a real person from Bertazzoni. All we want is a timeline so we can know if we need to buy a new fridge or not. We have a 12 month old baby and have had to live out of a mini fridge. It is so upsetting and beyond stressful. Only buy a product from this company if you’re okay never having a customer service line and burning money on fire.

Happy about the purchase. The sales lady from Courts was well verse in her product knowledge and she helped me to make informed decision. The sales process was fast and smooth. Customisation of my kitchen top was promptly and professionally performed by skilled carpenter arranged by the vendor. Delivery was prompt.

We purchased a Bertazzoni refrigerator…

We purchased a Bertazzoni refrigerator and stove. Spent 10,000.00 for 2 piece of garbage appliances.Handles fell off doors and drawers. Oven glass exploded during preheating. Now sensor is going in stove. Ice maker just stopped working correctly. It has cost us hundreds of dollars to get repairs done. I would stay fair away from this company’s products.

Fabulous

Fabulous, so solidly built. After 6 months I’m still finding my way around it! We had a problem with one we bought on line but Bertazoni couldn’t have done more to sort out the problem and replaced the faulty one with a brand new one, delivered and installed it.My only issue is that the smaller right hand oven only has one shelf, two would be better but spares do not seem to be available to buy? It has a tray but sometimes a shelf is what’s required…..

DO NOT BUY Bertazzoni.

Worst and most Expensive bad decision - Do not buy Bertazzoni. Bought the 48" dual oven range in 2021 and before it was year old, the door/paint color had burned. Clearly the door was not closing properly and the heat/steam was burning it. Bc i was within 1 year, they did cover the door replacement and a local tech who was suppose to be certified, installed it. The door still didn't seem to close all the way but after a lot of adjusting he left and indicated we should be good to go. The door continued to burn and within the next year, same problem. And the 2nd smaller oven began to lose the ability to hold its temperature. B/c i was now outside of the 1 year warranty, they would not help me, even though the door was clearly the exact same problem as was reported and repaired within the first year. So now i am on the 4th year, the large oven door has a bad singe/burn discoloration, the 2nd oven is unusable, it no longer heats above 200 degrees and just this evening, the large oven door burst and shattered while we were cooking a pizza. Now the large oven is unusable. I have reported the issue, and am hopeful and will also try to contact the local salesperson who sells to our large supplier here, b/c this is nuts. $9100 range and within 4 years, this many problems. Model: PROF486GDFSBIT serial # 033075. A lemon but as i peruse other reviews online, seems Bertazzoni gets a mixed bag of reviews on their product as well as their customer service. And the exploding oven door, seems to happen to others. Seemed absolutely crazy to me and scared the hell out of us when it happened, but others have had this happen and one user, had it happen multiple times on their same range.

Microwave oven is just year and half…

Microwave oven is just year and half old stop working, try to contact customer service for three days no luck, send them email, now they open case file, second day no luck for any call when they are sending tech to fix, giving shit to sale person who recommends this product to me, don't buy this product,

DO NOT BUY bertazzoni products if you…

DO NOT BUY bertazzoni products if you live in the United States. They are impossible to deal with, hard to find replacement products, and the customer service is completely out of balance with the values the company says they stand behind. To give you more background- I purchased the Bertazzoni convection oven NEW from a neighbor. Our houses were being built at the same time, and he and his builder both both a built-in microwave for the space, and because he had an extra and I had the identical space, I purchased it from him. This product was brand new, factory sealed. He gave me the purchase receipt from 1 year ago, well within the warranty period. I unboxed every component of it-- the product had never been touched. Because it is an Italian product, and the microwave is 220V (atypical in America), I spent a significant amount of money hiring an electrician to wire a 220V to this space. The reason I went though all this hassle is because this specific microwave is the only one that fits the custom cutout without making significant carpentry changes. Once installed, there is a clear issue with this brand new product. the touchpad is entirely unresponsive, and is a huge fire risk as the touch pad will, for instance, begin airfrying at 400* out of nowhere in the middle of the night. Or when you press the microwave button, an entirely different button on the screen will activate and turn on. Upon reaching out to Bertazzoni. they literally gave me the run around for over a week, intermittently responding, asking for specific paperwork. WHen I submitted everything to them, they decided that based on a technical detail of my home not being owned by the person who purchased the product, all warranties are cancelled-- and that they cannot help in any way. Which is interesting to me, because this is no different than a relationship where a builder buys a product that a homeowner possesses? Please do better, and please stand behind your products. At the end of the day, a brand new, several thousand dollar convection oven should not be a fire risk to those who use it. It's one thing if the product works less ideal than anticipated-- it's a whole separate thing for a company to be OK knowing their product is a danger to the people that use it. This is a technicality that gets you out of standing behind things-- of backing your product-- which is supposed to be a premium product. Take care of your customers-- and re-read the mission of the company as shown on your website***UPDATE***Bertazzoni reached out to me personally after this message-- which was a total waste of time. They just repeated to me exactly what my original experience was, and told me exactly what I already knew about non-transferrable warranties. My point is that A BRAND NEW PRODUCT SHOULD WORK AND A COMPANY WOULD STAND BEHIND IT. WALMART STANDS BEHIND A G&E $40 MICROWAVE MORE THAN BERTAZZONI STANDS BEHIND A $2000 MICROWAVE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
