I bought Berghaus suppelite Leather Boots
I bought Berghaus suppelite Leather walking boots for women on Amazon and I have the receipt as proof .The issue is to do with design not age as was explained to me by Berghaus customer service .I have been buying these since 2000 and have absolutely Loved these boots in the past .Every year and a half to 2 years I would have to replace them Because of soles wearing Down however this is not my issue.This pair and the pair before that have had the same problem which is The lace hooks lock on to the other boots Lace causing me to have a very hard floor hands knees head .This is I have become static due to being locked in to the other boot .So basically it’s like very hard brake has occurred flinging me forward face down The design doesn’t take into account for hooks lock on to Laces 3 days ago I fell very hard I really hurt my knees , my hands and my head leaving me grazed and cut and absolutely shocked afterwards.I feel I should have not continued to wear from previous falls but I have no other boots for walking. I am an older person and it is harder to get over aftershock , that was worse than the cuts and the knock to my head .I have photographic evidence which shows marks and the front of my boot has had the top of the leather at the toe destroyed due to the impact of my fall .This has happened multiple times but this was the worse fall .These boots used to be called Brasher boots before being taken over by Berghaus and it never ever happened before . when I emailed Berghaus about a previous fall a few months they wrote back and said my boots were beyond warranty too old and gave me the repair link .The design is actually very dangerous.I wonder how many other people that this has happened to ? Please bear in mind it happened with the previous pair also , this was a red flag I failed to acknowledge.Thank you for reading.

Great products and a good company
I’ve bought several things from Bertha’s in the last year and have been very happy with all of them. Yes they are expensive, but the quality is good and I’m really impressed with their repair service. I’m tired of throwing out kit that’s not very old but already no longer fit for purpose. Repairing it has got to be a better way to go. Would recommend Berghaus. Great products and a good company.

Stretchy, free movement smock
First impresson is that the fabric is amazingly stretchy. Smock style, also allows free movement, whereas jackets, that are tailored, are more restricted. Only dislike is that there is no inner lining at all. I wear it as a covering over a fleece, to protect from wear and dirt. Light weight, packs away completely. I bought a size 14, which is my normal size, it fits easily with the stretch over mid layers.
