Hidden Charges and Zero Communication. Extremely Disappointing.
I discovered that this company had been billing me monthly for about a year without my knowledge. I do not recall knowingly signing up for an ongoing subscription, and I never received clear invoices, receipts, or monthly billing notifications that made the charges obvious to me.I also had no usage of the service during that time, which makes the situation even more frustrating. When I realized what was happening, I felt completely blindsided by the amount of money that had been taken.In my experience, there was a serious lack of transparency and customer communication. If you’re going to charge people every month, you should be sending clear billing notices and making sure customers understand they’re enrolled in a recurring subscription.Because of this experience, I personally cannot recommend this company. There are plenty of other services out there that communicate clearly with customers and make their billing practices obvious. I strongly suggest doing your research and monitoring your statements closely if you decide to use this service.

Absolute scam
Absolute scam. Signed up for a 7 day free trial in 2022, didn't like the software, cancelled it. Now in 2025 they have randomly decided to charge me for software I've not used in 3 years, never paid for, had cancelled and they won't refund. I have put in a charge back claim with my card company as this is just a scam pure and simple. Do not give them your card details even for the free trial as frankly the software is very poor when compared to photoshop or even canva if you feel comfortable with a more basic tool.

I’ve been using BeFunky for my creative work for 5 years, but unfortunately I have to switch to another platform. My biggest frustration is that you cannot delete multiple images at once from your image library. Having to remove files one by one is extremely time-consuming and impractical, especially for anyone working with lots of uploads.I also find the overall image management lacking in usability. When such a basic feature is missing, it feels like a major drawback for what could otherwise be a great tool.I had hoped to rely on BeFunky for my creative projects, but this limitation makes it impossible for me, so I’m moving on to a different solution.

I used BeFunky a few years ago and then cancelled my membership as I had subscribed to other software that handled my graphic design needs.Despite no communication with them or from them from 2022, they have just charged my credit card the annual fee.I raised a dispute and they partly refunded and said they had to retain £11. I would have been happy with this if I had signed up with them in error, but I have not had an account for over 2 years and this is just fraud.

Phantom Charges -- Support is utterly useless
They do phantom monthly charges here. They were charging my card but "couldn't find any account" associated with my emails. I gave them LITERALLY every email I've ever had and they couldn't find it. They never offered another way to try and find the transaction. I did, gave them the necessary info, and they started asking what my email was again.The customer service is clearly outsourced with fake English names and they have no idea what they are doing. They don't escalate issues either. They're just trying to sign you up for phantom memberships and hope you never notice the $15 a month.

The company billed me without warning for a year's subscription even though I had canceled it more than three months ago. They are ignoring my requests to cancel the subscription. Over the last couple of years, BeFUnky became less and less useful so I had absolutely no use for it. Stay away; there are better services out there.

Representative claimed that subscribers are advised in advance of renewal. This is a total lie. I didn't like the software and wasn't using it. The subscription automatically renewed without warning. I messaged to close the account and have the charges reversed. This was done only after being forced to jump through hoops with the same person "agent" throughout. I was informed that this was a "one time courtesy" as if they were doing me a favour. If they hadn't returned my money I would have just gotten a charge back from my credit card company.According to others this company's philosophy is "take customers money without concern for whether or not they like the product or are using it.

I was charged by Befunky.com 14.99 & Google 9.99 for the same thing. I contacted BeFunky they gave me a detailed list of what they needed to cancel & what to do to cancel in Google. I did everything they asked. I never got charged again by Google but BeFunky have charged me 6months since I cancelled in May. I just canceled, Again! Reporting them to BBB too

I subscribed thinking it was going to be monthly fee, and they charged me 12 months.After two minutes I told them my problem and asked them to get a refund and….till this day…already two weeks and signs of keeping the same.Trully this is the first time it happened somenthing similar to me. In factbcould probably be illegal in Europe as you have 14 days after your payment to ger back your money.This kind of companys should be legally closed.
