If I could give zero stars I would ordered a trigger hood for my crossbow it was stolen enroute through UPS tried to contact them nothing tried to email nothing they literally ripped me off for 35 bucks awesome I'll be selling this cross bow and getting a More reputable brand.
Disappointment is an understatement for what I experienced. I placed an order on line and not only did they not even attempt to respond or send me the correct part they ceased all contact with no explanation. The contact number listed on their site is useless, and if one does get through there are only two options available, press zero to request a call back or leave a message which I am sure gets deleted. It is a shame that a well known company has declined like it has. I will never purchase another product from this con company ever again. They couldn’t get a shipment of a 27 dollar part correct let alone anything substantial. Their silence is deafening which supports what I am experiencing. Pathetic customer service is a kind phrase for their nonsense. They say they will respond to on line request within 24 hours, well it’s been 72. Now I have to see if I can get somewhat of a refund because I am certain they have no intention of rectifying their mishandling of my order. I promise/swear this is not the end!!!
I am vary disappointed in this product just bought it didn’t come with the handle had to reach out to the company they sent a new one in the mail then I went out to use it and the limb cracked so reach back out got told to send the hole thing in had to go spend more money to get the right size box to ship it back out just got it back in the mail and they didn’t even give me the foot holder dam hand crank is so loud that it not even funny I would rather just have my money back then this junk and that sad to say bc grew up on using Barnett products miss almost all of bow dealing with this crap like dam they could have dose something to at lest compensated for all the hassles and money all ready spent
I am not one to be negative, but against what others have told me about Barnett Crossbows. I bought a hypertac 430 last year. I did harvest a few deer last year with it. That being said I took it to our local bow shop and found out the string is frayed due too cams and my limb was cracked. Said he's ran into this problem and that Barnett is difficult to get ahold of. I also bought a Raptor last weekend, and the string exploded. Now I'm down two crossbows. I also should have read reviews.
Barnett is the worst company i have done business with. I wouldn't buy anything from them and I will not use their products again. They send their products without hardware and instructions then promise after promise to send it and don't.
Bought 1 out of Walmart not 3 weeks old didn’t used 1 time snapped in half now I went to back to Walmart 3 weeks later sorry we can’t exchange it for another 1 money flushed down the toilet do not buy this is pure garbage.
Bought a new Barnett bow, didn’t realize the paint was messed up down the hand grip due to the packaging design, sent email after email, never heard anything, when I did it was “send your address” and never heard back, I called and finally got through, they want me to send it in to get it wrapped, will get it in 30 or so days… nope, the cost of the bow was to icy for a paint defect, the customer service sucks there, I’ll move on to a different company
I bought a new Barnett Hyper Raptor 410 from Academy Outdoors in Atlanta during the Christmas / New Years Holidays. Drove back to Miami and put it together as the instructions. It has a problem in the trigger mechanism and it will not lock into place. It took 2 people to jerk on the cable while 1 held the bow down to get it to lock and the it will not fire as the trigger is locked . I have reached out to them and at first after several e mails i got a response but now nothing. I would not buy a crossbow or anything from them .
They do not stand behind their product and are ABSOLUTELY impossible to get on the phone. Do not buy if you want service after the sale!!! Purchased a youth bow and QR code said it could be switched for left handed shooter. Turns out it can't and they want to send a cheaper smaller bow as replacement. I even offered to pay for upgrade and the ignored
Bought a Barnett XP400 crossbow in 2023 and only shot it about 15 times. The limbs are starting to splintering. Left emails and tried calling customer service all I got was a message saying I would receive a call back never heard from them. This is the worse customer service I have dealt with. Missing the 2024 bow hunting season because of them. Hope I can get a response back and get bow fixed or I will be going to purchase from different company.
Purchased brand new Hyper whitetail 410 - Nothing but trouble. I believe I had 12 practice shots with the brand new bow and the strings came flying off. After multiple emails, phone calls they finally issued a call tag to return bow. They restrung the bow, sent it back and the scope was damaged. I have tried multiple emails, phone calls, begged them to call me. No response.I asked why the strings came flying off a brand new bow, they won't tell you. I purchased a brand new bow & I will miss the entire 2024 bow season, because of Barnett. The WORST customer service EVER.
Have purchased 5 different crossbows and now have newest and limb is cracked have emailed and left voicemail with no call backs. Poor customer service.
🤬🤬🤬Wish I could be out shooting my bow but after a year of being without it , 9 months at Barnett's numerous emails and phone calls and I am still being told " I cannot make this decision, my manager will get in touch with you. " ... I have the reciept showing I paid 1012.21 for the bow , a Hypertac 425 , regestered it as required , all they can do is tell me the bow and parts are no longer available and offer me a bow of much lower cost and value as a replacement ... This is udder bull !!! I HAVE TRIED TO KEEP MY COOL BUT I AM SO FED UP ... Called again today and told the manager is not in today , maybe she will be tomorrow , not for sure .... I get it that things happen but this is utter nonsense . All I ask was to get a replacement bow with the same value and convenances as this one ...
Agree with the other reviews. I have a used crossbow that just developed delaminating limbs. Initial quick responses by email, then a slow trickle of non-responsiveness to keep you hoping but no real action to remedy.
Well I contacted Barnett by email Dec 1 2023 on their trade in program. I was informed parts were no longer available for my 350 ghost.It's mid March 2024 and just received a reply.Boy am I glad I bought me 2 excalibur crossbows since then.Stay away from their Chinese junk and brutal customer service. All our bow shops around me have dropped them because of bad customer service and junk from china.Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere.
I purchased a xp 405 crossbow for 500 bucks . I went to sight it in and on the first shot the bow limb cracked . So I tried calling Barnett and got the answering service . It wasn’t until hunting season was over that I finally got a call back . When I returned the call to see if shipping was covered I got Jeff . He hung up on me three times cause I have a delay and he couldn’t understand me . I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life !!! I am still waiting for the bow to be fixed . I do not recommend dealing with Barnett !!!
Bought a Barnett crossbow 5 years ago. Shot a bolt this past season and the bow pbroke in half. I tried calling no answer so I left message. Sent e mails with pictures and got no satisfaction from them. Even though supposedly had a 5 year warranty. WRONG. Finally got a call back from them 3 months later and she basically hung up on me because she said there was nothing they could do for me since I threw the crossbow in garbage. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T BUY A BARNETT BOW BECAUSE I KNOW I NEVER WILL AGAIN. Sincerely Paul Wallace
I ordered a bow before Christmas and paid for 2nd day air. It never got shipped.I called and they gave me the standard apology and stated they will refund my shipping costs (still not done) and send it overnight since I explained I was leaving for a hunting trip in 3 days. 2 days later I am now informed it won't arrive until tomorrow after my departure time.I have to cancel my trip now. Horrible experience and will never order from them againQuick update, my bow still has not been delivered. I was promised on 12/26/23 that it would be sent next day air at their expense due to their mistake. I just spoke with UPS and it was sent 2nd day air not next day. Had they done what they said after their screw up I still could have salvaged my vacation. Lesson learned. Always check the reviews. Most reviews are 2 stars or less
Don’t buy absolutely no custom service. Bow itself is fine whitetail hunter 2 but the scope fell apart inside. Being only 2 seasons old maybe used 6 times I would figure the bow n scope would be good for a long time, not so. I take care of my stuff nothing has ever harmed my bow or scope. I have left 3 messages and 3 emails to Barnett support and its been over month and they have not gotten back to me… all I wanted to know is the scope under warranty or can it be fixed??? There message when u call says customer service is very important to them, well that’s a bunch of bs. Looks like I’ll be buying an after market scope. Don’t buy Barnett, very frustrated customer!
