Arrogantly inefficient
An absolutely embarrassing excuse for a railway service. Delays aren’t the exception, they’re the rule. Missed connections seem planned on purpose, as if inefficiency were part of the business model.Trains arrive late, when they arrive at all. Platforms change at the last second with zero meaningful communication. Announcements are vague, inconsistent, or simply wrong. You pay premium prices and receive logistical chaos in return. The staff is extremely rude, arrogant, and visibly uninterested in the inconvenience customers are facing. Instead of offering solutions, they act annoyed that you even asked. There is no sense of accountability, no urgency, and certainly no customer care. You’re left feeling like the problem for expecting basic service.Planning a trip with them requires backup plans for your backup plans. If you have a tight schedule, forget it. If you value your time, look elsewhere. Reliability and professionalism seem to be optional concepts.Avoid if you can. If you can’t, drastically lower your expectations.

The worst Service in the World.
The worst Service in the World.. if a Train has Delay it happens ok but why there are no other Solutions ? You have to wait alone 1:30 Hour to have another one .. so poor Connections .. 1 Star is too much .. i'v been in France, Italy and all has better than DB

They are unbelievable
They are unbelievable! How can it be that every other EU country understands the train system and public transport but DB doesn’t? Unfortunately I am German so I need to travel with it a lot! And 8/10 times I need to wait 1 h here and then another 1 h there… The Netherlands 🇳🇱 for example as soon as one train doesn’t work -> TADA 6 Buses waiting

It's usally quicker to walk.
There is no guarantee, that your train is going to get to the trainstadtion in this centry. If it's important to get somewhere on time, like the airport or a business appointment, it's usally quicker to walk.

The worst ever service means it is DB
The worst ever service means it is DB. They take money but won’t work. I have never reached on time and they are born to waste people time. Worst ever efficiency. This is one example why Germany is going behind.

Awful website and awful customer service
The portal failed to capture the Bahncard discount, although I have an account. Followed up with their simply dreadfully unfriendly customer service to be told it was my own fault.

Appreciation for DB Staff
Despite the delay caused by a technical issue, the train staff were really kind and did their best to help me catch the next night train. As a result, I was able to present my project on time. I’d like to say that I really appreciate DB and the kindness of their staff.Warm regards,

Criminals
Horrible service, very little support in English, I have never managed to use the train - always cancelled (!). They charged me for a year-long BahnCard, cancelled the train line for months, refused to refund the unused BahnCard and tried to force continued charging the next year (!!) threatening legal action, despite receiving endless requests to cancel the card and refund. Criminals.

Worst thing to ever exist
Worst thing to ever exist. My ride of 1.5 hrs turned into a 6 hrs ride.

I often tarvel with this company
I often tarvel with this company, and I know about the issues with delays and everything. However, the personnel are always in a good mood, and now that I am travelling handicapped with crutches, the service is more than excellently organized for me to safely get from point to point. I appreciate all of these services more than the delays have inconvenienced me in the past. Thus, I think the company deserves a 5/5.

People living in Germany already know…
People living in Germany already know what to expect. So this comment is especially adressed to visitors: If you need to be at a specific location at a specific time: Never go with DB. You will be late. That is almost certain.Especially dont rely on DB when you need to get to an airport and catch your flight. Or at least go some hours earlier than seems necessary. You will be late! There is no Information and Zero reliability. You wont be warned how late you actually will be.Use DB only if time is not of importance.

Scam marketing practices
Not just trains come late, they also scam people with various campaigns. Promoting campaign BahnCards, but cancellation period is hidden and you should cancel a month before campaign end, you can't return purchased product before you even start using.

Horrible company. Avoid at all costs!
This company is an embarrassment for Germany. First our train had a delay of more then one hour and then (while finally on the train) they announced that the train would stop in Liège instead of going to Brussels!I asked staff how i would get from Liège to Brussels and they told me that it wasn't their problem. I kept asking and they told me to buy an Eurostar ticket.Absolutely shameful!

Uncomfortable Journeys Despite Good Trains
Overall, the trains are good, but the journey is not very pleasant. Since reserved seats are sold in second class, you often have to stand up and give up your seat to passengers with reservations. In addition, the ticket inspection staff is not very friendly and seems annoyed when people travel in groups and are not seated together, even though this is unavoidable if you have not purchased reserved seats. On all the journeys I took, there were frequent delays, and the trains were extremely crowded.
