I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience with Bachata Dance Academy. Despite having danced for three years, I learned invaluable techniques and musicality that have greatly enhanced my skills. I think it's a great Bachata and Salsa resource. I've learned a lot through these videos and the people that I dance with notice and have said so themselves. I think it's a bit pricey but it's nice that it's a one time investment and honestly it's worth it.

New to bachata?
As a new dancer to bachata, I cannot commend Nicole and Demetrio enough for their ability to teach fundamentals of bachata and musicality to complete beginners. They break things down really well for dancers to learn and understand moves. If you’re completely new like I was, use the videos to learn and practice at home.

I purchased their bachata lesson online and have been very happy with the instructions. I’m a slow learner, and busy with regular life, so it’s been nice to have the lessons available online at any time for consumption. The instructors are friendly, speak clearly, communicate well, and show the dance techniques in understandable segments. If you want to enjoy more dancing in your life and feel successful while doing it, this might be a good website to join :)

Best Bachata Online Courses
Great courses to learn Bachata online: very professional, moves are broken down, so that it’s simple to understand and then the moves are built up with practice. There is also a lot of information about the dance, musicality, variations on moves, etc. I highly recommend these courses as well as Demetro & Nicole as teachers.

These courses are everything you need to learn Bachata Dancing. Demetrio and Nichole break down every move in such great detail and from different angles.You don’t need a partner to complete the course either. I watch the videos and then go out practicing at dancing events.

The best online dance class I have ever done!
I have been learning from Bachata Dance Academy for the past few months and have really enjoyed it! Demetrio and Nicole are incredible teachers and I love how they break down everything, from your weight transfer, to positioning, to hand grip, to additional styling. It is rare that I see dance classes going into so much detail, it almost feels like you are taking a private lesson. I have also taken dance classes in my own city and often times I feel like the teachers just demonstrate quickly a routine and hope you can copy it. But not with BDA, their course is structured and helps you build up from the basics, and slowly add on more and more techniques/moves at each level. I am about halfway through the program and can't wait to learn more. I have also purchased their Salsa course which has been equally excellent. I fully recommend!!

Online Bachata Classes
The online Bachata classes are Amazing!!!!!Though I love taking Demetrio and Nicoles in person instruction (because for me there is nothing like live instruction) I have found that having the Online Bachata classes are a must have for me. This is how I use them. I will take a live class with Nicole and Demetrio. The next day or so I practice what I learned in class and inevitably I realize I don’t remember exactly how the move was done. This is where the online videos are invaluable. I will more often then not go to the online class library and find the video on the move I am having trouble with. Nicole is brilliant at dissecting the move into small bite size pieces. This is exactly what I need since I am not a dancer nor does dancing come to me naturally and easily so it takes me longer than most to learn new moves. I have found that when practicing with someone else we will often have different opinions on how we think the pattern and lead should be done. Again, we refer to the online videos to get it straight from the horse’s mouth- saves so much time. It is obvious that Nicole and Demetrio are absolute professionals. They are clear and precise with their instruction. They show you various angles on each move. You can ask questions and they will be answered. I was amazed at how much is in the online class, MUCH more then I expected. It truly is an extraordinary value.

Bachata Classes Made Easy
I cannot say enough for the way Demetrio and Nicole teach the Bachata Master Classes. Although the information is complex, it is very simplistic in the way it is taught. I can always expect a great learning experience as I learn something new each time. If you have the opportunity to devote time to learning in-depth concepts about dance and musicality, I highly suggest taking one of their Master Classes.

High quality learning environment. Bachata Dance Academy under the cooperative instruction of Demetrio and Nicole at Stevens Steakhouse in Commerce, and also via their BDA online video course instructions. They portray a humble, simple, yet powerful and expert demeanor about them. You know they have spent countless hours training themselves not only in each of their dance skills and styles, but also in mastering the art of teaching and motivating others. They come dressed comfortable yet with a professional flair that communicates a tasteful attraction from which anyone can duplicate and feel at home. I have enjoyed both in-class/person and online learning from them, and am impressed with the high degree of giftedness to share with other what each of them have achieved within themselves, and together as a dynamic training pair. Try it, you'll love it!!!
