A Life-Changing Experience with AIT
I truly had the best experience with American Israel Tours. From the moment I started the process in the United States until I arrived in Israel, everything was smooth, organized, and stress-free. Traveling to Israel felt very safe, and the warmth of the Israeli community made the trip even more meaningful. Many locals told us that our visit brought them hope, courage, and faith. Safe, secure and well educated.
Our guide made sure we were fully informed about our itinerary. The company made sure we safe and secure. At no point was I confused or concerned about where and what I should be doing. The tour brought us to a lot of well documented historical sites and I felt close to where Jesus likely walked.

What an eye opening experience
What an eye opening experience! This tour brought the scriptures to life in ways we never imagined. We had great learning opportunities as we visited sites in the Bible and learned from archeology. The tour guides in Israel and Nazareth were wonderful. Their stories of what it was like to live as a Christian there provided us with insights we would not gain anywhere else. We can't say enough about both our tour guides who were immensely knowledgeable, easy to relate to and understand, flexible, and patient. What an amazing experience!

Into the Promised Land Tour with Nile…
Into the Promised Land Tour with Nile Cruise Extension:Oct 28-Nov 18, 2025We opted to take the extended trip to Egypt, Jordan and Israel, as a way to see as much as possible. We arrived in Egypt on October 29, and were met by our AIT facilitator at the airport. He shepherded us through the immigration process quickly and efficiently, and got us to our hotel in Cairo.He also told us that AIT was offering a tour to Saqqara during our “extra free day” we booked in Egypt, but because we weren’t aware ahead of time, we’d already booked a private tour that day. We met up with the rest of our group the following day and set off for our 3 day Nile River cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Our tour guide in Egypt was Mohammed Adel, and he was extraordinary. He was a fount of knowledge for all things Egyptian, fluently read and explained the hieroglyphics we were seeing, and graciously answered all our questions on ancient and modern Egypt. His sense of humor kept us laughing and we felt very relaxed with him in charge. He scheduled as much free time as possible to explore the sites on our own and gave valuable guidance on the best places to shop, how much to tip vendors, etc.There was no felucca ride as mentioned on the itinerary from 2 years ago. Instead, we had a Nile river boat ride to a Nubian village, which was incredible and very educational. Another unexpected bonus was experiencing the locks between Aswan and Luxor. Because of an unforeseen delay getting through the locks it seemed that we were going to miss our next scheduled stop. Adel was able to arrange for the ship to dock early and take our group by bus to the site so we didn’t miss a thing!He took us to a lovely shop that had hand embroidered items and clothing, and we also visited a spice shop and an alabaster workshop, all of which sold high quality merchandise.Another highlight of our Egypt tour was being at the Grand Egyptian Museum on the first day they were open to the public. Of course we all wanted to see the Tutankhamun (King Tut) exhibit and it was fun to explore it with Adel, who himself had never seen some of the items on display.The Bedouin dinner was an incredible experience as well. Although the accommodations were not as nice as the other hotels (as stated in the AIT literature), we found them adequate for one night.After crossing into Jordan we got to know our second tour guide, Omar Karborani. He was an expert on all things Jordan, both of Old Testament and New Testament times. I have to mention here that the Kempinski Resort in Aqaba was the most extraordinary accommodation we’ve ever experienced. It was absolutely luxurious and the ‘free day’ to relax there was a much-needed recharge.After visiting Petra (which was awe-inspiring), we crossed in Israel to meet our third tour guide, Lital Anavim. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! She filled us with an abundant amount of information on her country, sharing both the rich history of Israel along with her firsthand experience of the war. She also shared how much she (and the entire country) appreciated the faith we showed by being the first group in two years. We bonded so deeply with her that I was actually teary eyed when it was time to leave. Because Lital was not able to accompany us to Palestine-occupied Bethlehem, we had a local man, Johnny, to act as our guide for that one city. I wish we could’ve spent more time with him. He took us to the most amazing shop featuring hand carved olive wood Nativity scenes, crosses, etc. They also had a fabulous antiquities section that my husband found mesmerizing.I want to stress that at no time did we feel unsafe or in any kind of danger during our stay in Israel. My husband and I walked around several times in the evening without fear. Many Israelis approached us to say how grateful they were for the support of the United States, and even how much they appreciate our President for the stand he has taken. We practically felt like celebrities, and were treated so well by everyone.One thing I want to mention is that the activity level stated by AIT is not an exaggeration. There were many uneven surfaces and lots of stairs, but even at our ages (60s) it was totally do-able, as long as we paid attention to our surroundings.

This was a lifelong bucket list trip…
This was a lifelong bucket list trip for me. So my expectations were high, AIT did not disappoint . At the airport waiting for me was a representative greeting me with a sign at 3:00 in the morning. He guided me to my first hotel and got me checked in. Accommodations were superior at all locations. The trip flowed better than expected with incredible guides all along the way. Their historical knowledge as well as their Biblical knowledge about every site we visited was amazing. Intal (a Jewish Christian) was the best. She was knowledgeable, pleasant, and encouraging to some of us that were struggling at times. They protected us from unwanted vendors. Will there be a Bucket Trip 2 ? Who knows, but If so it will definitely be with AIT! We felt safe the entire time.

Well taken care of...
From the moment we got out of the airplane, we felt very well taken care of. We had Isaac meet us at the airport, putting us taxi and off to the hotel. All the accommodations were wonderful! Out tour guide, Netel, outstanding! We always felt safe everywhere we went! This tour was amazing and very meaningful!

COMMUNICATION! Every step of the way we felt like we were kept up to date on all aspects of the trip. Lots of great information was provided upfront, long before we landed in Israel.More importantly our guide, Lital- her EXTENSIVE knowledge and Complete Compassion for our group was the shining star of the trip.

A journey for all to experience
This is a pilgrimage through the Bible from Eygpt- Jordan- Israel. You really feel the experience of leaving the desert into The Promised Land, as stated in the Bible. It's a journey everyone should experience in their life time. Each tour guide we had was amazing, honest and very informative. I highly recommend.

All the details, from buses to boat, from tour guides to meals went smoothly. Our tour guides were amazing! The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, their grasp of history and timelines were phenomenal! It made the travel experience, that much richer. Our hotels were clean, safe and well located.

An experience we will never forget.
Before Terri and I begin the next leg of our journey, we want to pause and give a heartfelt thank-you to American Israel Tours, and especially to three incredible people who made this trip everything we hoped it would be and more: Regan, Jair, and Maher.From the very beginning, Regan helped us set up the entire tour, walking us through every question, every detail, and yes… every one of our little quirks along the way! Her patience, kindness, and attention to detail made the planning process effortless. She made sure every hotel, every stop, every guide, and every driver were perfectly in place. Regan, you made it easy for us to simply show up and be blessed, and we can’t thank you enough.Once we arrived, Jair was the absolute perfect guide. I’m not sure how many guides American Israel Tours has, but if you come to Israel and don’t get Jair, you’re missing out. His knowledge of Scripture, history, and culture was remarkable. His attention to detail, his timing, and his insight brought the Bible to life in ways we’ll never forget. I saw many biblical sights and it was…
I saw many biblical sights and it was great the guide read scripture at each one. The group of 12 became close friends. I had a favorite site each day, but the Galilee boat ride, Messada, & Via Dolorosa stood out.

Another great tour experience
We have used America Israel Tours twice to travel to Israel. Back in 2020 we started planning a third trip, this time with our family. We even placed a deposit down. Then COVID intervened, then a death in the family, then a new grandbaby, then Oct 7th in Israel. We shifted gears to going to Greece instead and Noam's team took it all in stride with no issues. Even when we had to switch out family members with only 30 days to go, they flexed with us. The result was another great tour, including seeing many of the sites the Apostle Paul walked. What a great experience. Will we use them again? Absolutely!
