AeroGarden Harvest Elite Slim

I received the AeroGarden Harvest Elite Slim as a gift. Only one of the six pods sprouted. When I contacted Scotts they said I could only get a refund with a receipt. I explained that I didn’t want a refund I wanted good quality pods. I sat on hold for several minutes doing a chat and was then disconnected. I think the entire AeroGarden collection is a scam.

Pods dont germinate

Pods dont germinate. So sad because I have 2 XL AeroGarden and nothing is growing. The pods are différents than before and they don’t work. Hopefully, they will be back to the previous pods which was perfect.

Pods not germinating

Pods not germinating. I have 5 working Aerogarden - 2 of which are the expensive Bounty. Never had a problem with CUSTOMER service until about 6 months ago. Lately, pods don't germinate. When I ask for replacement or refund I need to recreate my history which they should have after 7-8 years of purchasing, but they dont. My recent purchase was thru Amazon. To get compensation, I need to ID the machines, the pod # as well as proof of purchase. They should have this already. I don't expect anything from them but I'll never do business with them again.PS! I don't keep dead pods. I throw them out.

Guaranteed germination???

Guaranteed germination? 🤣🤣🤣16 days into a 6-12 day "Guaranteed germination", the seed is visible on the surface of the growth media, it definitely is not germinating 4 days after the end of the cited germination window. I've managed to germinate other seeds in a heated propergator in the interim.What can I say, terrible product 🤷‍♂️

No replacement parts…

Have a Aerogarden Harvest Elite bought 3 years ago. Power cord no longer works and they don't make replacements. So have a useless garden. Don't buy

The pods are NOT growing and I'm sick of wasting my money.

This is a general complaint as I am literally at the end of my wits. For some reason, a few years ago, I noticed that the salad style pods were just not like they were before. I sent in replacement requests and received them, but even those would just not grow and get moldy and die. This was happening more and more as time went by, I have since been told I do this too much as if this was something I want to do; spending all my time taking pictures and getting frustrated when at least half my orders are just dead with white mold and nothing even after 6-8 weeks of trying. When I do place new orders, the same thing happens, literally half my orders are crap and nothing. Still I have invested in three gardens so I keep ordering hoping things will get better and I just got a bad batch. The tomatoes are fine. It's just the salad greens. Can you please explain if there is something going on with your pods because I can NOT be the only one going through this. Even with my last order. I cleaned out and replaced 12 pods and NONE of them are growing. Again, my tomatoes are great. Salad green are crap. I would appreciate an answer so I can figure out how to handle this from now on. I have THREE gardens and I've changed up all of them to grow both tomatoes and greens. Whichever garden has tomatoes is fine, the other two with greens do nothing so it is not the gardens. I've even replaced two gardens recently and they all grow tomatoes... I'm sorry to have to ask but I need to know. I am literally throwing my money away at this point and I just can't anymore.

Never Again

Purchased 12 seed pod. Only 2 germinated. Company would not replace pods or refund money because I did not purchase equipment from them. Also customer service reps are rude and disrespectful calling me by my first name after I repeatedly requested they refer to me more formally. Horrible products. Horrible customer service. Never again.

Aero Garden's recent update closes your account. …

Aero Garden's recent update kills your old account making it impossible to sign back in and collect your history or reset your machines. Some moron at corporate felt it was a good idea. Corporations really need to poll their customers first before taking some boardroom idots advice. It took 4 calls to just get informationon, 2 of the calls I was hung up on because they couldn't understand the problem- customer service needs better training. This product is NoLonger a customer friendly company and they really dont care. Just money hungry.

Buyer Beware…

A year ago I purchased the herb garden and everything was fine. Back in April I purchased 2 petunia gardens. Out of the 12 pods, 7 did not germinate. After one month I contacted aero garden and answered all their questions. I was told that they were guaranteed and they would send replacement pods. None arrived. Yesterday I contacted them again. I got an email asking the same questions and wanted me to send a picture. I am elderly and do not know how to up load. I emailed them back and now they have gone silent.

I spent about $350 on one of the grow…

I spent about $350 on one of the grow systems. The system recently started to fail about 1 1/2 years after purchase. It’s out of warranty so I’m out of luck and there’s nothing that can be done other than turning the system off and on or resetting the system. The computer system is failing ie it beeps all the time and some of the buttons can no longer be set. What a useless piece of junk. Save your money for some herbs from the supermarket!

Its alright.

I have two bounty elite. One from 2015 and one from 2019.I have both running for a few years and experienced 2 light penal changes. Each cost me $120 because the warranty expires. And it is only a 48W panel... It costs a lot lower user non-proprietary panels. The screen fail in the newer model, and I can't change configurations anymore due to that. The wifi was never connected so I can't change that either without replace the entire base. Which would just buy a new one for another $300...Good irrigation design and pod system. A lot of knockoff for cheaper price rather than buy from Aerogarden for their expensive pods and bad nutrients. Overall, 3 stars.

The WORST DO NOT BUY

Zero stars!! Absolutely, hands down, the worst "customer service." They do not respond to emails, chat is a bot that may send you to a support person that will run you around in circles. Email - they do not respond. My detective shoddy Harvest Elites lights began to strobe. My garden died. I wish i had never wasted my money and purchased a 2nd Rainpoint garden instead, as it has been awesome with good customer service. Do not buy anything from Aerogarden!!!!!!

Bad customer service!

Aerogarden site states you can return product for no reason within 30 days and NO questions asked. Item received made loud noise and customer service kept giving me the run-around when I requested a return within this time. After three emails and one telephone conversation and their request for pictures or video, I finally received address to return item but was told they would not send return mailing label (their site says 'do not send item back without return label). I was to send the item back and email them tracking. They sent me items dated two years ago (old stock) and their excuse was that seeds sometimes were good for three years. Horrible customer service and fraudulent information regarding returns posted on their site.

I have boughten 5 of the pods and maybe…

I have boughten 5 of the pods and maybe out of each pod I get only one or two that grow, the first ones I bought a few years back were great now it looks like no seeds in the pod, how do I reach customer service to talk to someone about this?

Don't waste your money on Aerogarden

Twice I purchased a seed kit from aerogarden and both time the tomatoes didn't sprout. Aerogarden's only solution is to direct you to go on their website site and request replacement pods which they send, and they also do not sprout. It would be a great idea if the product and the support was not such a nightmare. It's too much money for such a crappy product. Unfortunately, you cannot return the actual garden. Stay away

Extremely poor customer servicet

I received an aerogarden as a gift, but unfortunately there were two minor issues, that I felt could easily be resolved. This company's customer service responses were extremely poor, despite several emails to them from me. I could not recommend anyone deal with them.

AeroGardens customer service and product is the best I've ever dealt with.

I received a family farm for my birthday for my son. I was really expecting to have the usual difficulty dealing with the company for anything. I was very pleasantly surprised. I email my questions problems to AeroGarden the response usually comes within 24 hours unless it's over a weekend. I've had this garden for a few years already and every time I have an issue either with the seeds not coming up or just a problem wanting to figure out the working of the garden they're always there. They send me printed information, they direct me to websites, they replace parts and after this is done I do get another email asking if my problem was solved and if I had any further questions. AeroGarden made this experience fun and easy and I really love my AeroGarden as much as I love their customer service team who is always there to help solve any problems. My problems, concerns, questions have been ongoing since the more I used the garden the more I want to do with it. The garden itself is amazing and having fresh vegetables year-round is a real treat.

Ordered 12 pod seed pack

Ordered 12 pod seed pack. Only two came up. Pretty sure they were old seeds. They would not honor the warranty which says they will replace any seeds that don’t sprout! Buy from an honest company!

A ONCE good product

I have had 6 pod aero gardens for about 10 years. I tried to grow different plants and herbs but narrowed it down to basil which was easy to grow. I enjoyed having fresh basil during the winter. Until 2 years ago when only half the pods I purchased sprouted and I had to request replacements which they sent. I notice they have been bought out by Scott’s as part of Miracle Grow. I ordered 12 pods and only 7 of them sprouted. The friendly pleasant customer service representatives have been replaced by Ilysa the She Wolf of the SS. She asked dozens of questions that must be answered correctly in addition to providing the model number and vat number. When did you plant the pod how tall is it when do you put in the food etc etc and then slipping in that my gardens MAY need replacing. Which of course is the goal because SCOTT’S is not going to make money on $3 seed pods especially when half of them don’t sprout. I replied I will NOT be replacing my “gardens” I will pitching them into the trash. Although Ilysa basically accused me of lying as she insisted ALL the pods are subject to rigorous testing and 99% of them are perfect. I expect that Scott’s will be tossing Aerogarden overboard shortly

seeds not sprouting/ company won't replace pods

I have used aerogarden for 4 years. Lately I have had trouble with seeds not sprouting. When I contacted them to send me new pods, they gave me a list of 15 things I had to do before they would replace the pods.It was ridiculous for a product that cost less than $20 for the 9 pod kit.
