Juanita taught my 3 kids piano
Juanita taught my kids 13, 11, and 5 piano. She did an excellent job structuring each lesson in a very thoughtful way to cover scales, practice a piece, play by ear, and improvise. She was especially creative with my 5 year old son, allowing him to learn rhythms on a drum, sound out nursery rhymes on the piano, and have fun. She also developed an entire workbook specially for him. I highly recommend Juanita as a piano teacher for kids of all ages and abilities! She was also good a setting a structure and schedule up front but then also flexible when we needed some changes to accommodate summer travels, which I really appreciated. Thank you, Juanita!
