There is no real customer service

There is no real customer service. If you are on the west coast, good luck with that. A very frustrating experience. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They have a monthly payment, they charge a % fee for each customer.

We had the most incredible day out on…

We had the most incredible day out on the water around Koh Tao. The snorkelling was unreal, crystal clear bays, loads of colourful fish, and we were lucky enough to see turtles too, which made it extra special.The whole experience was so well organised from start to finish. The team were friendly, professional and really looked after us all day. They made everything easy, relaxed and fun.It was honestly a brilliant day and one of the highlights of our trip. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Tao.

IF YOU ARE A NEW AGENCY DON'T GO WITH THEM

They are very strict with their procedures when it comes to new travel agencies; they will ask you to have been in the market for at least 9 months, with reviews older than that. The transparency they show on their website is not correct; they should let the agencies know how much time we need to be in the market in order to apply to be part of WeTravel. Waste of time and energy!

I was forced to use WeTravel to pay for my forthcoming trip to South America. I used my debit card & was charged 36€ for the privelidge. The exchange rate was not favourable.

Outstanding Platform with World-Class Customer Service

WeTravel is an awesome program that has transformed how I manage my custom travel business. The platform allows me to create professional-looking itineraries that my clients absolutely love, which is essential for the unique, customized trips I design.The built-in payment processing makes transferring money seamless, and the integrations with my accounting software and CRM work flawlessly. Whenever I need anything, I simply send her an email. She doesn't just send generic announcements - she explains what's relevant to my specific use case because she knows my business so well. This personalized attention is rare and invaluable.

I would give zero if I could

I would give zero if I could. This seemed like a really great platform for group bookings and I really saw a lot of ways it could help me as I dive more into groups. I originally spoke with Jenny who was great and helped me register. Unfortunately I was only given partial verification upon registering which meant I couldn’t utilize the payment system the way that I wanted. So it really defeated the whole purpose of using the platform. Peter reached out to me by phone to try to convince me to use this platform. I advised of the situation and continued to tell me that if I could just get one booking through this platform that it would give me the full verification to use the platform the way I wanted. We then had a call and started planning a clients trip together. I specifically asked how long it will take me to personally get the money in my account once a client makes a payment and he replied “instantly”. This was crucial because the trip I was planning was one week away and I needed to be able to turn right around and secure tickets/book the trip as soon as the payment was made. Well the client made the payment and guess what? The funds aren’t available for another week. Which means that since the funds aren’t available can’t even issue a refund and I can’t book the trip with them. WHICH MEANS I personally had to cover the costs while I wait for the money to show up in my account.I contacted Peter who supposedly contacted his “director” and they are both claiming they never heard of this before and that there’s nothing they can do about it. They are taking NO responsibility. Don’t use this company!!!!! They’ll say anything to get you on their platform and then leave you out to dry.

We have been working with We Travel for 3 years and have had excellent service and customer support. Highly recommend them to any small/medium travel company. They are proactive in responding and suggesting ways of working to make life easier.

Covert Hate Leads to Denial

Ok. So I am a multi business owner. Of my multiple businesses, I own a small travel agency here in the US and also a foreign tour operator company in another country (that Took much blood sweat and tears). I sent over all my information for "Verification" to get my booking site up using Wetravel as a tool for structured payments and other booking services. I sent over all copies of Original documents, My Passport, so many Verifying proof. While I am new to the tour operating scene, Im not new to viable businesses. All new tour operators need a system. I thought WeTravel was it. But I think that since I am a majority share holding black woman led company, the denial was almost instant. They didnt give me a reason why. Only the initial point of contact person emailed to say "sorry you were denied"...over 4 working business days. I even sent her a side email (the first day we spoke last week) before I found out about the denial, today, to show proof of my US based LLC travel agency.That was not even took into consideration because she had not responded due to the Christmas holiday. Also, they didn't even contact my foreign business partner for his official ID. I asked him daily and never received any email from the verification department. All these things... and I still got a hard denial. The initial contact person told me that sometimes she sees that new tour Businesses may get a partial approval. Well..I didnt get any level of approval and absolutely no reason why. They didnt even do the full application verification to its entirety because they had not emailed my partner. Like at all. Very bad unethical racist business practices WeTravel. I will be going over to SquadTrip. Sad day to see RedLining happen all over again in this space. And WeTravel...Just so you know...I am also a well documented Multi 6 figure earning Wellness Telehealth Clinic Owner. Your initial contact person for me knew this. I could of sent her that proof too. I have been in business 7 years. Successful US based LLC. I just wanted you guys to help me take this 3rd venture....my newest venture, to the next level as it still aligned with my wellness calling. Obviously your covert hate runs deep. Have a great New Year!

We tried to obtain an e-visa for Egypt…

WeTravel SL We tried to obtain an e-visa for Egypt through the Egyptian embassy, but for some reason we received an email from this organization. It was supposed to cost €158 for two people and take six days. Twenty-five days later, we received an email with a PDF file that was supposed to contain one of the visas. In reality, it was just the text “Dear X, Regarding your visa, kindly be informed that your e-visa had been issued, but due to a technical issue the e-visa PDF is not available to be downloaded from the portal.” When I complained, I received an email with a download link. It contained the same text again. A refund minus €9 bank charges was only possible for one of the visas, as the other one had already been issued. No direct email contact or replies to their emails possible. Everything has to be done via the contact form. To me, this looks like fraud. Even one star is too much. WETRAVEL SL (a company registered in Barcelona, Spain) is a separate legal entity from the San Francisco-based company WeTravel, although the names are very similar and they both operate in the travel industry. WeTravel, the main company often referred to in tech and travel news, is a US-based travel booking and payments platform founded in 2014 that provides an operating system for multi-day group travel businesses globally. It is headquartered in San Francisco and Amsterdam. WETRAVEL SL is a limited company registered in Barcelona, Spain, which was previously known as Think Tank Travel SL and had a low initial capital investment. While WeTravel has a global presence and an Amsterdam office to serve the European market, there is no evidence to suggest that WETRAVEL SL in Barcelona is a subsidiary or directly belongs to the main US-based WeTravel company. The Spanish company appears to be a local entity distinct from the internationally recognized platform.

This is a scam company

This is a scam company. I applied for visa to Egypt. They took the money very quickly. They cancelled my application and when I ask the refund they send me a automatic form that doesn't work. Be careful. do not use this company

Very interesting option

Using WeTravel has honestly been a big help for my business, Morocco Shade Explore. It made things much easier for my clients to pay, especially the ones coming from abroad. Wild World Tours of Oaxaca, MX for Día de Los Muertos and Puerto Esconcido, MX

Wild World Tours offered a once a year Día de Los Muertos tour in Oaxaca, México that was unforgettable ! This experience included the city of Oaxaca's celebrations and our tour guide Maria and local guide Gabo went "all in". It was a small group of 14 so we were able to have our own private, city hotel. Our guides planned many local experiences and foods for us to try with mole, tamales, pumpkin flowers, and many of the unique tastes of Oaxaca. The Día de los Muertos ofrendas, parades and city decorations were colorful and Maria had face painting artists for us all to have "sugar skull" makeup for the celebrations. We explored the city and surroundings with Gabo to see the unbelievable ruins of Monte Alban, the cemetaries for the Day of the Dead, cooking class at a local community, along with mescal farms and tastings, textile, black pottery, and alejedrez demonstrations. The part that I liked the most was exploring the beauty of Oaxaca at the petrified waterfall and our hike to get there. Then, we traveled to the surfing, beach town of Puerto Escondido and enjoyed a sunset hike. We were able to go to a turtle camp and watch the newly hatched baby sea turtles go into the ocean. What a memory ! Thank you Wild World Tours for showing me the traditions of Oaxaca.
