Put in a pre-order of an item a month ago. Got an email saying the order was canceled with zero explanation. Now the item isn't available for preorder anywhere else because its close to release. Definitely won't be using this site again. Would caution anyone else as well.
I've been a Wargame Portal customer for a little over a year. I have yet to have a negative experience. I found the store through an online advertisement and decided to give them a chance. My purchase was shipped promptly and in great condition. They have become my go to for online purchases since. I cant recommend them enough. * Date of experience is from my last online order.
Clearance items can include open box items but are not labeled as such. I purchased three clearance items when they arrived one of the items was open and had incorrect contents. I reached out to customer service who has attempted to resolve. Items were ordered June 26th and shipped July 8th with expedited shipping. Edit: the company is doing its best to assist so I am updating my review to reflect this.
Sharing my experience with an online order.I ordered a Warhammer model to be delivered, and after waiting so long I decided I wanted to cancel my order. After an email request to cancel my order went into the void I called in to the physical location for the woman to tell me she can't handle online orders. And then she told me to email them again.So I find a number that does handle them and the guy on the phone was super condescending. He said the model was on back order and insisted I missed it. Even if that is the case your website should make it very obvious that's the case or I wouldn't have wasted my time.I'm looking at their website now, and as before it does not say "backorder."Your customer service skills and attitudes are terrible.If you're reading this review as a potential customer, buy your models from Amazon.This isn't "libel" this is feedback from a potential customer you should've shown a minimal amount of respect towards.Disappointing but amazon also ended up being cheaper. Edit: You can absolutely claim your rep handled this with respect and professionalism but his tone was full of condescension and contempt for your customer. I'm leaving this review up.

I ordered the Kroot hunting pack box from them. It’s over 3 weeks later than the advertised delivery date and I still haven't received it. When I asked about starting a refund process as my package is obviously lost. I was told that "It is not part of our policy to refund solely because packages are delayed though as that’s the fault of the carrier and not us." and I would not receive a refund or be sent a replacement until "Once we have confirmation that the package is lost from the usps or returned to sender". As I mentioned the item is three weeks late and there hasn't been any updates on starting a refund process or even sending another Kroot box, despite me asking multiple times. It seems likely I will not receive any refund of any kind and that I'm just out $187. I will never use their service again. They have poor customer service and there is no guarantee you will even receive what your ordered.
Easily the best US based retailer for Warhammer! Super good to work with, and got my order fast! These discounts will make it a lot easier to enjoy this hobby then buying directly from GW!
The customer service here is the best I’ve seen in the business. I’ve placed 3 orders here, and each time they sent me a personalized email to confirm the order and explain the status. If I replied to that email they always got back to me very quickly (under half an hour!), and had some fun things to say on top of just their clarification. Their special order program is fantastic too.
I bought some in-stock paint after seeing Wargame Portal affiliated with two different YouTube creators I follow, and I was very pleased with the result. I will definitely be back for dice and models.

After realizing my old paints were as ancient as a dungeon dragon, I scoured the realms for a replacement. Lo and behold, the Wargame Portal shone like Excalibur in the mist. Placing my order, I awaited the arrival of my color cavalry, complete with free shipping. In a mere blink of a beholder’s eye, my paints arrived, nestled in a fortress of packing materials. The speed of delivery and attention to detail were a critical hit! As for the paints themselves, let’s just say they’ve become my new muse, but that’s a tale for another quest!TLDR: Fast and Safe shipping, will order from them again.
I've ordered paints and miniatures from a handful of online retailers but this has been the best experience bar none. I've never seen anywhere individually plastic wrap paints for securite transport nor ship any product this fast and with such snappy communication. An absolute 10 out of 10 experience, these guys have earned my patronage forever.
WGP is by far the cheapest place to get anything from GW, and from what I've seen, everything else tabletop. Even when GW is slow to fulfill, WGP will keep you updated on your orders status and even adjust shipping and refund you if you desire. Definitely the first place I look from now on for all my tabletop needs. If your a active duty or a veteran, you would be insane not to use GWP, due to their generous military discount on top of already marked down products.
No damage, fast shipping. Really loved the shredded cardboard packing, I've never seen that before and thought it was a clever recyclable use of extra material.
