Great insights
I dealt with Luann, who really took the time to explain to me what changes I could make in my resume. She completely reformatted it, working in more active and popular actions throughout to make it more appealing and quick to scan for potential employers. She also was great at reaching out to me regularly to keep up with things. Not too aggressive but also not too lax that I never got around to it. Thankfully I landed a new job before I even finished working with her, but I would certainly recommend VelvetJobs to anyone looking for help with their resume or LinkedIn profile.

Wow... Bethany was just what I needed in my time of needed. After my layoff and the feeling of "what now?" came over me ..Bethany reached out and gave me the support and next steps I needed to hear. She worked with me to help revise and edit my resume and cover letter to follow new application tracking system guidelines. She helped me update my LinkedIn profile and gave me helpful tips to make sure I was getting the max exposure from both jobs and recruiters alike. She also kept in touch at regular cadences to review updates, progress and any next steps. Thank you for all your help during my job transition period...really helped me ease into my next phase

Luann was so kind and knowledgeable about getting me ready for my next role! We began by reviewing my resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile. She provided me with valuable tips on how to tailor my resume and cover letter for each role I applied for. She reviewed what a recruiter will be looking for and how to appeal to them. This was extremely helpful for me, as I had initially thought I didn't have much to offer, but she showed me that my experience was quite strong and that recruiters would be interested in contacting me. Once I got an interview, we went over interview prep. This helped a lot with studying for interviews and having questions prepared to ask along the way during the process. Once I received an offer, she helped me determine which offer to accept and how to negotiate for benefits and compensation. Overall, I would highly recommend Luann!
