Oil Change rebate ripoff
I went to dealer for oil change they say that I was eligible for a $20 rebate from Valvoline instead of discount they advertised; after getting the oil change I made copies of the receipts that were given to me by the dealer and submitted them to Valvoline for my rebate , about 2 weeks later I got a notice from Valvoline saying that I needed more proof of service. I uploaded my credit card statement but a week later same result. I told Valvoline to keep their $20. This is why we have no faith in American companies. Never again will I use any shop that uses Valvoline products.

Bad costly experience
My car is now needs to go to a mechanic. This is the first time I ever went to a place like this. After I went here oil splattered all over my driveway under my car when it was started back up and my check engine light came on. Codes P0016 and P0017 appeared. My car was fine. I have maintained my car for the 10 years I've had it since it was new. Always taking it to the dealership. Huge mistake not taking it there is time. Do not recommend Valvoline in Trexlertown. Manager (Manny) acted as if my car just all of a sudden had this issue and it wasn't because of them. Someone obviously screwed up and didn't do something right when I had my car there for the oil change. What I thought would be a good new experience is now going to cost me a lot more. 9/18: went for an oil change and was told everything looked good. Later finding out they noted an oil leak. Which they must’ve caused because it was not there prior.9/19: came out of my house to find oil splattered on my driveway, check engine light was on and error codes appeared. went back to Valvoline only to experience their gaslighting. The manager (Manny) denying they caused any of the issues with my car (that were not there prior to the oil change). This time they noted that there was not an oil leak prior to the oil change they did on 9/18. This clearly makes no sense. Valvoline contacted us and said they were not at fault and brushed us off. Leaving us to pay the bill and deal with fixing their employees mistakes. Causing these types of issues to someone vehicle can cause serious hardships. I rely on my car everyday for work, to take my kids to school, medical appoints and so much more. My life is not severely disrupted until I can get this fixed. In my opinion Valvoline is a deceitful, unprincipled and unethical Company.

I think this company is oblivious to what they're doing right now it's ridiculous but they're not helping these people with their van to help save other people's lives you should be ashamed of yourself you should reimburse these people for their van and buy the new transmission immediately the fact that you have it now just shows what kind of business you are I strongly suggest that you do something about it immediately are these bad reviews will keep on coming

This is a review of the location on New…
This is a review of the location on New Holland Ave in Lancaster PAI got an oil change on July 21 and the oil filter was not properly reattached causing a slow leak and air in the engine. This service cost me $52.98. The oil pressure light came on Friday Aug 1 after closing hours of the store. The next morning, Aug 2, I went to another Valvoline location and was charged $7.41 for a new filter and a top up. Later that day the original location (the one this review is being left for) called and asked me to come in again so they could look at the car themselves, they said my oil was still low and added more oil for no charge.Sunday the check engine light was still on so I brought it to Ford to be looked at. They charged $199.95 to run the diagnostic where they discovered the oil was overfilled. They then redid the whole oil change and charged $68.61.My car was in the shop for 2 days during which I had to take 4 Uber rides. One to get home from dropping the car off Sunday, to and from work on Monday, and to work on Tuesday. The total for the Valvoline services that were incorrect, the Ford cost to fix, and the Uber rides while my car was in the shop is $399.66.I spoke with customer support on the phone several times and they appeared helpful and told me how to submit my invoices to apply for reimbursement on Aug 5.This evening Aug 6 I received a call saying that I would NOT be getting any of my money back for their failed services, nor would they be paying for the repair work preformed by Ford, or the Uber rides I had to take to work during the two days I didn't have access to my vehicle due to their mistakes. They claim the reason for this is they looked at my oil and saw it was at the right level (the third time it was in their shop). They also used one of their machines to check my check engine code and said it wasn't anything to do with the oil. The check engine light just happen to come on 2 miles after the oil pressure light did, when the car is experiencing no other problems, and hasn't for months. And the fact that when Ford did a full oil change the check engine light went off.Despite the manager of this location and a customer representative being on the phone today with me they both denied that the company would reimburse me for anything (not even the original oil change that they did wrong that started all of this) and they were unable to transfer me on the line to someone who would help. Or provide me with their contact information. I have been told that a email will be sent to the area supervisor and they will reach out to me "soon". I look forward to updating this when I hear from them.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
We took 1 of the 2 vehicles we have been bringing here for over 2 years for an oil change on our way to a Lions game, there were 2 other cars in front of us and 1 car in each of the 3 bays, we parked about 2 feet back further than usual in case they took too long (which they usually do) we wanted to be able to leave if we had to, cars could get around us to get in or out but a Rude employee came out just to tell us to pull up! when we explained why we were parked where we were and weren't going to pull up, he started to go all Karen about not being able to pack people in like tuna with us parked like that which was not true! we were conscious of the surroundings, he just wanted to look important but instead lost our business, we went less than a mile down the road and got immediate service, and in 10 minutes with a smile! we have a car and a truck we plan to keep for ever so we get oil changes every 3 months needed or not, that will NEVER happen again at Valvoline, you should check your employees better on if they can handle stress, this was 9:15am and this guy was off the rails already!

Valvoline broken my oil cap and managers rude and unprofessional
I took my 2013 Chevy Cruze in for an oil change at 1205 SE HWY 101 lincoln city, OR on a Sunday at 4:20pm. By 10:00am Monday morning my car is spelling awful smell, I called thinking something must be wrong. The lady rep stated at times they spell oil when changing it on the engine and it gives off a bad strong smell. She said bring it in and their shop would take a look at it. By 12:00pm at lunch time driving the car it still smells and now shortly later the check engine light is on. Stopping at a local autozone on my way back to Valvoline they said that the oil is lean. I said impossible I just got an oil change. We head over to Valvoline and have to stop at an auto shop as my car is now smoking, awful smell, and failing to drive. Turns out that their was no oil cap on, no oil where it should be, but oil everywhere under my hood! When I call valvoline they pulled the the footage. It shows the employee struggling to remove my oil cap for over 10 seconds. Once he finally does they procced with services. Once we went back to the auto shop the oil cap was lodge under a hose. Once found it was inspected and found a piece was broken. The store area manager quickly said that it's not a clean break, that means it's been broken awhile now and not the fault of his crew. I don't understand how we can determine how long something been broke for. I argued repeatedly that my car was fine before coming into Valvoline. I didn't have oil under my hood. My check engine wasn't on. We visibly see your employee struggling to get the oil cap off as it was secured and tighten on. As professionals I brought my car to be serviced and now it's un drivable. After arguing I started a claim. The area manager refused to give me contact to his offices. They refused to give me the footage of the oil service being performed. I had to actually go by a usb drive myself to get video. They didn't offer to top off my oil as it was completely drained out. They didn't offer to help clean the oil from my hood. Not a free oil change after I just paid $107 less than 24 hours and having to buy another service to get my fluids replenished. I sent in all the appropriate documents for my claim. Including the inspection report from my car being repaired weeks earlier on another issue. The auto shop than checked and inspected again the Friday prior to my oil change noting my car in good health. No issues. No lights on and driving fine. I called Monday to get an update on my claim status to find out that my claim was denied minutes after submitting it by the area manager and the store manager. As I attempted to explain this and demand another manager review my claim she continued to state that it's over. It's denied. You can appeal. Their decision is final. It was properly investigated. I demand and letter of the denial, their investigation process, and what their findings were to conclude a denial. She stated she would email the same store and area manager. I was never contacted during their "investigation". A few days later they send me a very generic letter of denial of claim sent by the same area manager brodie Barrick. It stated I was filing a claim due to causing engine damage and that they did a through investigation to the findings it wasn't caused by their shop. I never reported or claimed that in my statements, or my receipts. The claim case even said a broken oil cap. I would've been content with a reimbursement of my oil change, an apology, and using this as a coaching moment for employees. The fact that they are the last one to touch my oil cap and can't even acknowledge they lack the proper training is very concerning. Stay way from a business that operates this way. I can see why they are very secretive about their business contact information. In the past year I have read over a dozen claims just like mine. All unresolved, no accountability, and no opportunity to learn from mistake as they don't think they make any. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL 12/15 Brodie Barrick contacted me stating he would refund my oil change only if I agree to move my reviews. He reason he gave for not refunding my auto shop bill was we could've done that service for free. Yet never did he offer. He allowed me to get my car diagnosed, cleaned, and refilled the oil that less then 24 hours came out due to Valvoline. When they had the ability to do that for free, to make it right.
