Stay away. 6 years now $14000 later. My tax debt started at $35k when i first hied them. It is now reaching $100k and i still get no responses from these criminals. When asked to refund my money they disapear and no longer communicate. I have left a review every year. On the years that they respnded to me they required that i take down my bad reviews to even talk to me. These people are a total rip off. Buyer be warned.
I have kept constant communication in hope of resolving my issued. Instead I've gotten delayed and penalized by the IRS. I asked for an refund but who know if I am going to receive that. Don't recommend using Tax Shield to anyone!!

They negotiated nothing on my behalf, failed to stay in contact with me, and ignored my demands for an accounting. Basically I have been abandoned. My repeated emailed requests for a fee refund have been met with replies that they are being looked into. Zero follow up on the promise. Their failure to communicate directly with me and abandonment of my case is contrary to clear California Bar standards. The only interest and urgency they displayed was in squeezing me for a $29,000 fee. Though I demanded a refund and accounting of their time and fees 5 months ago, and repeated the demand twice more, to date the reply has been that they will get back to me. Crickets.

As I write this review I am still waiting for them to get back to me in reply to my last email. CAVEAT EMPTOR (buyer beware)

Hello all fellow future customers just wanted to drop a quick review on my wife and I situation! Basically we feel these company’s are not for the average everyday blue collar worker. It will not benefit you! We owe the IRS, $30k from back taxes which we realized we made a mistake over the years and wanted to reach out to someone to assist us with the IRS. Well we agreed to pay US Tax Shield $8500 to help us with our problem. In which we should’ve, could’ve just paid that $8500 towards our outstanding tax debt. The best thing they did for us was a great job with paperwork preparation. Ending result we ended up agreeing to an installment payment and still owe $30k because the IRS wants their money regardless of what anyone says! So if you make a descent wage the IRS says you can afford to pay them back. It doesn’t matter about what other bills or debt you have they want their money! So we advise you guys if you get behind on taxes just call the IRS and arrange payment. Oh almost forgot, but how could I, even though we’re paying IRS back now every month faithfully they still placed a tax lien against us!!!!! Problem solved!!!!!

We’re sorry if the resolution of your case wasn’t to your standards. Our goal is to provide the best outcome for our clients while making sure we protect their income and assets. Because protection is a priority, we can’t guarantee a specific resolution, but we can promise we’ll always fight for it. And should an Installment Agreement be a client’s best option, we’ll make sure they get the lowest amount possible. As far as the IRS filing a lien, I do see that your Case Manager went over this with you but if you need a refresher, please give us a call at any time during office hours and we’ll go over it with you again. About five years ago I had a six figures back tax problem with the IRS I couldn't deal with them, understand or settle with them and I tried. I reached out to US Tax Shield and they were able to negotiate a settlement with the IRS resulting in a monthly payment plan. Consequently, it's all paid off, also removed the lien against me. US Tax Shield has prepared my tax returns for the last five years. Not only did they take care of my tax problem to my satisfaction but they also do my taxes every year and I'm very satisfied of how they prepare it. Follow up is terrific, always someone helping me. Follow what they say and if you follow everything will work out.

I was very unhappy with my results. I was told in the very beginning the interest and amount owed could be reduced. It took over 4 years to settle my case . I went through around 4 different people helping me. In the end, I can say no wages were garnished and my home was not taken but a lien was issued until 2028, which was not told to me in the beginning.
US Tax Shield’s goal is to provide the best possible resolution as quickly as possible. However, should a client continue to incur new balances since hiring us, it may naturally extend the time of the case as we’ll have to include the new balances into the resolution. Our goal is to reduce everyone’s balance but we understand that not all reduction programs are in our clients’ best interest due to the demands requested by the IRS/state for that specific reduction program. In light of this, we never assure people of what we can or cannot do prior to an attorney reviewing the client’s case and financial information. We’re happy we successfully established a hardship status on Gloria’s behalf where she isn’t currently required to pay the IRS back and that we prevented her from losing her home and wages in the interim. Prior to this hardship status being negotiated with the IRS, the attorney discusses with the client liens being filed as a stipulation until the balances are expired. If a client chooses to not move forward in order to prevent liens being filed, then the attorney goes over alternative options. We were sorry to be reading Gloria’s concerns, however, we are thankful this allowed us the opportunity to immediately contact her to reiterate the details of her case, address her concerns, and clear up any misunderstandings.
I would like to say thank you to this staff at u s tax shield Rick Tanner,Cel Melcardo Edward Lopez AdrianTelime Maria Elena just to name a few. ..Last year us tax shield help me file 10 years of tax return. During this year my son had became ill and was hospitalized he went in for an outpatient procedure the next day he was in ICU. I say this to you because I want you to know my mindset ,I have to tell you how compassionate and understanding the staff were with me they work with me. First they contacted the IRS and then getting an extension for me they work with me step-by-step from the worksheet. And I tell you some days for me were harder than others but they were so patient with me ! it made me feel special not pressured I could call them at any time and someone would always return my call. we did it step-by-step until all were completed they even worked with me and set up a payment plan. My point is this during a difficult time they're still good professional compassionate people they will take care of your situation why you take care of you. . And even today I had a question about one of our tax years and someone called me back and went over with. i went to US Tax Shield a few years ago and they helped me to delay and delay my tax bill till the statute of limitations expired , it was a great tactic and i save well over 100k , anytime i called they were always there when i had a question ...love em

US Tax Shield stayed with my until the end. The IRS dragged my case out for years and US Tax Shield stayed on the case until the final resolution. Not only that, but I ended up receiving a significant refund check. The team at US Tax Shield always responded to my requests for information and provided much needed comfort and guidance while dealing with a very difficult tax situation. I heard about US Tax shield via an advertisement on TV. I decided to take a chance with them. The staff is very courteous and professional. They listen to the client's concerns and respond in a timely manner. They are very thorough Even though it takes a long time for the case to resolve, however, the team was able to reach a settlement with IRS and deliver as promise. I was told by the IRS I owed nearly 90,000.00 NINETY THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was floored and dismayed. How can this be? Well I had a gambling problem and had huge winnings from a casino. The State tax alone withheld nearly ten thousand in federal tax. US tax also helped with the State tax also. Unlike other services that leave you hanging, US TAX gave me a life rope. I got a call that my offer in compromise was approved. I now must pay $500.00 and my tax nightmare is solved. Thank you US TAX SHIELD for giving a reason to live again.

US Tax Shield is professional, courteous and timely. I used them due to some issues with previous filings. They sorted all of that for me and have been my Tax preparer's since. all they did was stall & end result was a payment plan,which I could did that on my own.They act like they can do more than anyone else can do,which is lies & false advertisement.That was my experience with US Tax Shield.

After receiving a large back pay of disability (that the disability lawyer kept the lion's share) without tax withholding. The USTS sales person assured us that they did take clients unless they could reduce your tax bill. After several thousands of dollars to USTS and several months later they call us to tell us they will arrange payments for the full amount owed... OK... Now with all that said... I can honestly say I was not happy with the service in the extreme... But that's not the end of the story. There customer service person called and worked with me through my issues. They listened and are going to adjust the US Tax Shield bill to make up for the under-par tax relief... Plus they informed me that they would strongly consider adding a review up front in the process then after USTS is up to speed they would suggest a better course of action... I explained that I would be more than willing to pay for a review so USTS can be definitive about their offering. Update - USTS is refunding $1700 because they felt they didn't provide enough of a savings... So, they refunding some money to make everything more equitable.
At US Tax Shield, our goal is to provide the absolute best resolution for all of our clients and the utmost client satisfaction. We were notified of Mr. Kiser’s concerns in the midst of going through his available resolution options. Based on our conversation and due to the nature of his decision moving forward, there was no need to proceed with certain portions of the case. Because of this, US Tax Shield returned the fees for services not needed to be rendered.
