Order one get billed for four.

Their pitch made sense to me. So, I ordered one bad to try it out. They promptly added another order for three additional bags to my credit card. When I called right away to have them make the correction, no one answered after a 35 minute wait. Today I called again, they would not make the correction. I had to have my bank address the issue. Even if it is a decent product, their business practices are unethical. I will never use this company.

Product is great, order fulfillment is nonexistent. That's called fraud.

Product is great, and my dog loved it. HOWEVER their shipping and fulfillment system is completely screwed up. I've had two shipments in a row that were never delivered, and had to chase down a refund each time. I cancelled my subcription, but currently have a THIRD package that is en route which I'm sure I will also not receive, but have to wait another week before I can request that refund. They use a random shipping company that is also incompetent, and which called my address "undeliverable". I'm a normal house in a nowmal neighborhood that gets mail and packages DAILY, so not sure what that is about either. Also, you could deliver fine the first time, and never again? GTFO with that. Also, Shayne, don't bother replying as you clearly have ZERO intention of fixing these issues. You're PR, not customer service, and it shows.

My fur babies would not eat the product…

My fur babies would not eat the product Ultra Pet Nutrition. So my wife called and cancelled any further shipments. Well I closely monitor my credit cards and saw another charge from UPN. Called the company and they told my wife there was nothing they could do about it. I called and got Ms. Dasha which was a sweetheart of a person who understood my situation and immediately corrected the error. Thank you Ms. Dasha for your time and understanding!

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Ultimate Pet Nutrition. I ordered their dog food for my 34 lb Aussiedoodle–Labradoodle, who has documented allergies to poultry, wheat, egg, and soy, and was careful to choose a formula that was supposed to work for him. Despite that, he stopped eating the food after only a couple of weeks, and we eventually had to give away some of it because he simply refused to eat it anymore. The bigger problem, however, was on the billing and customer service side. The company sent a duplicate shipment and charged me for it, which I did not authorize and immediately contacted the company the following day when I noticed two emails with orders placed 2 seconds apart. I also contacted the credit card company CItibank to dispute the duplicate billing error. When I contacted Ultimate Pet Nutrition, they stated they could not cancel the order as it had already shipped which is false. They also refused to provide a prepaid return label for the unauthorized order and instead tried to impose restocking fees and make me pay the return shipping, even though they admitted the duplicate shipment. Because of their refusal to correct their own mistake in a fair way, I ended up in a prolonged dispute with my card company over the duplicate charge, and we were stuck with a bunch of dog food my dog would not eat. We tried numerous times to return the food but customer service was no help. We ended up giving away the unopened food and tossing the rest of it. The issue has dragged on for months now with countless hours spent in the phone and writing emails. In my opinion, this is not how a reputable pet food company should treat customers, especially when the product doesn’t work for a dog and the company is clearly responsible for a duplicate shipment. I would not order from Ultimate Pet Nutrition again under any circumstance and cannot recommend them based on my experience. Be advised ultimate Pet Nutrition does not respond to the credit card company until there are only a couple days left in the despite process so if this happens to you make sure to provide your credit card company with all information immediately otherwise you will be denied.

The pet food caused my dog to have…

The pet food caused my dog to have serious diarrhea. I did everything they said to try. Start with a little bit, mix it in with their current dog food, add water, etc. Still caused serious diarrhea in my dog. They give you a 90 day money back guarantee except the fact that you have to use the product in order to determine whether or not it works and then they charge you for the used product. It's a rip off - don't do it! How the heck are you supposed to know that it works if you don't try it?! I'm going to email ithat supposed actor and tell him he should stop ripping people off - he's got enough money. And, I have to pay out of my pocket to have it returned. CRAP!

Ultimate Pet Nutrition

Since starting my dog on UPN, my dog seems to be in pain, whinses every time I pick her up and when she moves after lying down. She also has elevated liver enzymes. My vet stated with no hesitation it could be the food since these symptoms started after switching my dog to UPN. I called UPN Customer Service to return the food I have left. They were responsive but the customer pays the shipping. I will update this review after my dog’s next bloodwork to be sure it was the food causing the problem. Even so, they do make general claims that dogs will respond to this food with improved energy and better health. Unfortunately, my poor dog’s health declined.

Poor delivery

Poor delivery. My dog ate and threw up the entire meal. Got diarrhea from the beef liver treats, what a mess. Never again. Couldn’t get a refund. Gave food away for the second time. Expensive experience

I gave this company 4 months on a…

I gave this company 4 months on a subscription. The first order had pieces of blue plastic embedded in the food and was late to arrive. The replacement order was back ordered and delivered elsewhere than my residence. Had to call each time, the replacement order finally shows up as I insisted they use another delivery carrier. Then next order, same thing, order lost to some place else and still using the 3rd party service that lost the order without tracking evidence, had to wait again extended time to receive it. The January order, never showed and then they updated my subscription without my consent and pushed the February order date to the 28th due to weather issues with no mention of the January order, all while charging my credit card. Promises of discounts for their lack of dependability, it was a disappointment from the very beginning. The product when it didn’t have plastic in it was fine, but the inability to get service correct over four months is inexcusable.

Food is Okay-Website Run as a Scam

Pork dog food is going well for my dogs. Yes, it is expensive. The website is a elaborate "gotcha" and very time consuming to take care of errors on their end. I ordered a subscription of cat food as the dogs did so well on the pork. It did not work out. My cats refused to eat it. So I kept the bag to try to reintroduce it a few times but cancelled my subscription. I went in to check to see if the cancellation went through, and under my subscriptions, it listed the dog food and nothing else. Sure enough I get an email that the cat food order has been processed. Called immediately and the tech said I was right, my account had no subscription for cat food. Then offered my 30% off of the order. I said I wanted to cancel the order and I wanted 100% back. She was not able to cancel and will send me information on a return, which I am guessing won't be worth my time and the money to send it back. You are hiring the wrong people to run your website and will ruin your good intentions as all of these complaints indicate.

Allergic Reactions, Returns Complicated and NOT Free

Both of my dogs liked the food but had severe allergic skin reactions hours after eating it. They licked themselves throughout the night. I contacted customer service for refund and found out that return process is slow, complicated, and return ship is NOT free. I’d have to pay for shipping, print the return authorization form, fill it out, and mail it back at my own cost, and refund would be issued 3-5 days after they receive the product. Their product campaigns, product guarantee, and free returns. Claims are the misleading, they make the return process very complicated, busy individuals like me would likely end up not having this kind of time to return a bag of dog food.I do not recommend this product and vendor.

It isn’t the food

It isn’t the food, it was the billing process. I ordered 6 beef and 1 pack of variety flavors. Included on the invoice was 12 bags of beef. I did not order them. I could not hit the back button so I was stuck. I emailed and called within 5 mins of hitting Submit button. They sent me to the Fraud dept. Never heard back. Called VISA. They are investigating.

These people are total scam artist ,do not be deceived !

These people are total scam artist ,do not be decieved . They sent me a 16 ounce bag of dog food charging me 50.00 . I ordered a 20 pound bag of dog food . When I contacted them they were rude and said you got what you ordered . Awful experience ,never again ! Seriously they charged me this huge price for basically one pound of food ,my dog weighs 100 pounds .

3 dogs, diarrhea for all 3 - money back is scam.

I bought 6 bags for $164 all three of my dogs liked it, but it didn't like them. All 3 got diarrhea and I introduced it to them slowly. I stopped and they got better. Figuring it was a fluke, I tried again and same thing. Waking me up 3 times a night to go outside. Their money back guarantee is a joke as well. I sent the remainder back (I had to pay $23 for shipping) and they only refunded me $132.

A total ripoff

A total ripoff! Three little gas for seventy something dollars…..really! Too damn expensive and my dogs don’t even like it? The pet industry has gone went corporate and they are making so expensive now to even have a pet anymore. They have jacked up cost of veterinarian care and food for pets. Nothing but greed!

Beware of the subscriptions

The product itself appears to be beneficial for our pets (both dogs and cats). However, beware of the subscription sign ups. We were unwittingly signed up for a subscription when we ordered a refill of our NutriThrive and started getting monthly shipments that we didn't need. On first inspection, it appears that you can easily cancel your subscription online; however, the 'Cancel Subscription' is difficult to find and doesn't work when you click on it. Hmmmm...so you have to call Customer Service to cancel and they are trained to ask a bunch of questions that seek to get more information about your pets and to try to get you to modify your subscription (instead of canceling). We've also paid better prices without a subscription. The subscription is sooo not worth the hassle.

Dogs liked food, customer service good, but pricey for large dogs

I ordered from ultimate pet nutrition in October during a big sale. My dogs LOVED the food, but with 3 very large dogs I was using it as a topper and it was just unaffordable to do every month. I liked that I could manage my orders online and delay shipments, even though I wasn't given any options to cancel my subscription online. I received an email that my shipment was gonna be sent out soon so I went to delay it but was unable to access ONLY that part of the website... Seemed pretty shady. Couldn't find any info on how to cancel my subscription. I sent a message (no response) tried the live chat (didn't work) so I called the 800 number. I spoke to a representative named Tella (hope I'm spelling that right). She was very nice to speak with, easy to understand and gave me multiple options to manage my subscription, but I opted to just cancel for now and get a partial refund (which I wasn't expecting) since I don't know when my financial situation will change and I don't want to have to worry about forgetting I even have the subscription in the future. Because of Tella and how helpful she was I would consider signing up again when I can afford it. I took off a star for the website problems that seem to revolve around managing subscriptions and the inability to cancel subscriptions through the website.

My dog loves this food!

Shipped quickly. My dog loves it. We just started with it but he could not wait for it to absorb the warm water this morning and pulled it off the counter. Of course, he should not be doing that, but he finds it so delicious.

My order did not come on time as…

My order did not come on time as promised. They have no problem taking my money right away but delivery with a carrier I never heard of and also then it doesn’t come on time is horrible!!! And don’t reply to my emails. Customer service is poor quality too. My package still gives the date Friday the 24 it will be arriving, but customer service says no that is Monday! Do not order with this company!!! It shouldn’t take 7 to 8 days!!! Chewy I will order that only takes 3/4 days.

Ultimate Pet Nutrition is Crooked

I have bought Nutra Thrive through Ultimate Pet Nutrition for years! I had a subscription plan at a discounted price. Twice the website has had a glitch and messed up my subscription. Today they told me they could not fix my subscription and I would no longer get it at the discounted price. I therefore will be looking for another product. Customer Service tried to help, but management said they would not fix the problem. Crooked company.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for my order. Called the 800 number, they hung up before I could even inquire about my order delay. Used the chat, zero assistance whatsoever. Informed me to just keep waiting, asked me if I needed anything else, then left the chat immediately before I could even respond. I Will NOT be purchasing this product again.
