Toby said something early in the training that made solid modeling click in my brain. I don't remember the exact words he used, but boils down to way to think about what you are designing and how to approach the problem. His in depth knowledge of the nuance of the software is invaluable. I took the training with a previous employer as a way to increase my skill set. My new job has me designing production tooling as a critical aspect of my role. Thank you Toby. Truly valuable training that has translated into a new role.

I was looking for 2d mechanical drawings on the internet to practice 3d modeling. They say the internet has everything, I'm not so sure but Too Tall Toby has delivered! Hugely! I can't speak highly enough. All the competitors (well most) are eager to help with tips and tricks. I follow on Discord as well. Toby offers tutorials using Solidworks and Onshape as well as some others.

I just want to say that Too Tall Toby is the best platform for anyone who is willing to be a better designer, it is all about becoming better by time. Speed Modeling has changed the way I design since the past 2-3 months. I became a runner for World CAD Championship 2025, which was definitely a honor for me to be in the Top 16. I can admit that I have become a better designer than I was around 4 months ago. The results are exponential for your growth and career. This is the best CAD modeling learning site that is not focused on just one CAD program. Great practice models, the ability to watch in real time and participate in online competitions, and experience-sharing discussions on the Discord server.Too Tall Toby's video tutorials are interesting, very well structured and clearly explained. They are useful for beginners as well as experienced designers.

TooTallToby offers excellent training. TTT provides data (e.g., Mass Properties) about its featured models so you’re able to test whether your work is correct. This is critical because aspects of Solidworks’ certification exams require this data. Also, Toby’s personality is very well suited to teaching. He’s clear in his instruction, and he makes learning fun.

A fun way for beginners to learn
Too Tall Toby’s website and YouTube videos are an absolutely fantastic resource for learning 3D CAD . I didn’t know how to use Solidworks at all before and now I can . Additionally , the practice models are ranked in the appropriate difficulty levels so you can learn the various software functions in the right order and then use what you learned in higher levels as you progress and overall i just really enjoy it . There is also an online community chat if you get stuck which is really nice . Very cheap for everything you get with the subscription

I've drastically improved in my speedmodeling abilities, thanks to the tournaments which are a blast. The site offers great training resources, practice models and exciting tournaments.
