Excellent Math programs!
My son has been using Thinkwell Math for a few years now and I have found it to be a very good program. I particularly like the tutoring option. My son has struggled with math and the tutoring has been a big help for him!

We were impressed right away with how fast and organized the shipping process was. The textbooks and workbooks arrived quickly and in great condition. The instructional videos are clear, well-structured, and easy to understand. The teacher demonstrates a strong command of the material while also making the lessons engaging and even fun. The videos are short and focused, which helps maintain attention, and the practice pages provide solid reinforcement without dragging on unnecessarily. This has been a fantastic fit for our rising 7th grader beginning honors math.

Excellent Curriculum for homeschooling highschool
This curriculum is an excellent option for homeschooling. My two sons work trough it independently. It is selfpaced , has quizzes, review tests and tests that are graded automatically. As a parent I can see on my dashboard how they are working through the lessons, their grades and all the lessons in case I need to help themBesides if they are stuck in some lesson or problem ( which never has happened) they can get help from a teacher. The teacher is very engaging, lesson videos are short with thorough explanations.My two sons have been working math with this curriculum for 4 years now including highschool honors courses and they are doing excellent in math. Totally recommend using this curriculum.

Explains math so my son can understand…
Explains math so my son can understand and gives him the autonomy to complete on his own. Great video lessons. Let's me know his progress and grade. Highly recommend. Will use for my other children.

My daughter had to take an Algebra…
My daughter had to take an Algebra class last summer and Thinkwell was recommended to her. It totally served a purpose and she was able to get through it! I’m giving it 5 stars for the trustworthiness of it, but if I had to rate it on how much my daughter cringed at the teacher’s jokes, I’d probably have to knock it down a Star. 😆

Absolutely love this platform and service! I think Edward Burger does an excellent job teaching and the video tutorials are incredibly helpful. Thinkwell provides everything your child needs to be successful in math!

We love Thinkwell. The videos are straightforward, understandable, and humorous. Their placement test effectively sets the right starting point for any student. Having completed Algebra 1, we are now progressing seamlessly into Geometry. A great resource!

Frustrating and So Much Wasted Time
Every lesson takes more than 2 hours minimum. I have to spend extra time trying to figure out the things they didn't explain. The video will give an example problem, but then the practice will throw something in there that they didn't talk about. You just have to figure it out. And also, I waste a lot of time researching how to use my graphing calculator. It would be nice if they helped with that. The worst part is the reviews before the quizzes. The questions are unnecessary hard compared to the quiz, and while they are solvable, they take forever to get through. My other curriculums hardly ever take over an hour. So much time is wasted, confusing explanations, and unexplained problems contribute to a frustrating Algebra 2 course.

Great program
Prof Burger is a fantastic teacher. His clear instruction and the format work well for my son. I took off 1 star due to a computer programming (?) issue, which has been frustrating and discouraging at times. For instance, sometimes an answer requires a zero in front of the decimal point (i.e 0.3), or it is is incorrect. Other times it will only accept .3 (no zero) as the correct way to type the answer. There seems to be no consistency or rhyme / reason for this. It’s not specified in the question instructions, nor in the teaching videos / concept or worksheets — it seems to go both ways at times. However, the online program will only accept one way as the correct answer, and there’s no way to tell which way it wants. It’s very random and inconsistent, and it affects his score / grade even though he gets the correct answer. I think this should be cleaned up.

Professor Burger said, "sexy" for no reason during my video lessons and failed to teach me how to turn a trinomial like 2x^2+7x-3 into a factored (2x+1)(x-3), It's been 2 years since I finished this course and I'm still mad at him. Thinkwell is also automatically taking money from me every month WITHOUT MY PERMISSION to "ConTinUe to hAvE aCceSs to tHe CoURse." I only see an email every month, saying, "Thank you for your purchase!" Very annoying course, very annoying teacher, I WANT OUT.
