They are there when you need them
I have parrots, and its very hard to find care for them. Especially if its emergency care, and double that if a weekend or evening.I called them about an emergency with my parrot "April" and even thought it was an almost 2 hour drive there, it was the only place in the greater Seattle area I could find that treated avians.Check in was easy and online forms for information. Easily done on a cell phone. I didnt wait long, someone came out and took my bird, and in a short time I was called as for treatment by the Dr. The prices I was given were exactly what I was charged, no special or hidden fees. We determined the care they would take and process. Being in the medical field myself, I appreciated the Dr listening to my treatment thoughts and direction. After treatment, there were concerns about how she was doing and potentially life threatening concerns. If I was to provide any feedback, would be I've seen many animals get worse in the hospital (people too), once re-united with their owners (or family) , immediately perk up. As we had been discussing the potential of euthanasia. I asked to have my bird brought to me, and she immediately perked up. Enough so the Dr was in agreement with me that euthanasia was unnecessary. I greatly appreciate the level of care there, the communication, I have nothing but praises.April today is feeling much better, appearance continues to improve.
