This health insurance sucks
This health insurance sucks! My dentist canceled on me because they said Sunshine health wasn't paying the bill, no chiropractors will take this insurance and pretty much nobody wants it! They won't give you ivermectin but I'm sure if it was something like a narcotic they'd be happy to fill it! They won't even fill Relenza something to prevent getting sick but they'll be glad to okay vaccines that kill people!!! I've had this insurance way too long and I'm not happy at all!!!

If I could give 0 stars I most certainly would. My brother has stage 4 colon cancer and they never send his ostomey bags he has to use all his disability money to purchase them off Amazon. This has been happening for the past 7 months. Then the ones he purchases won't stay stuck so he goes through a box in 2 days. A box of 10 bags is $60 and the wafers are $33 a piece!!! My poor brother has purchased his own 7 times now. So sad that you would treat someone with cancer that way. Poor kid has spent all his disability money on supplies for 7 months now.

I believe in honesty therefore I gave them 3 stars although it's deserved 2.5 because my health is jeopardize. They are great in lots of ways but other ways they are not. For example, they have denied my travel destination multiple times CLAIMING there are closer specialist but as I filed an appeal, THERE AREN'T NO CLOSE DOCTORS IN THE TALLAHASSEE AREA THAT SPECIALIZES IN NEUROFIBROMATOSIS. THE CLOSES SPECIALIST IS IN GAINESVILLE FL. I WILL WIN THIS APPEAL FOR MY LING DISTANCE TRANSPORTATION.

No Communication and Pass The Buck
Sunshine Health has asked me to re-fax paperwork that they've had for years. All of a sudden the POA paperwork just disappeared after years of having it. My daughter can't speak, walk or function on her own and they can't keep up with crucial paperwork that allows me to speak on her behalf. Then they kept giving me different fax numbers because they can't seem to be on the same page with which number is the right one to send it to. Almost a month and I still can't call and get info on my daughter's health situation due to their negligence. Then one representative will blame the other for not giving me the right info. I also spoke with a rude customer service rep that could barely speak English named Luis who basically hung up on me since the communication was so poor. Saying I'm frustrated with these people is an understatement!

Wish I could give this insurance 0stars denied my daughters Aba services because they didnt have enough documentation that she is disabled she literally get ssi for her disability has a iep and a cde just insane

The monthly “touching base” calls are ridiculous and useless
Everything is great except when they call you once a month to see how everything is going with your child medically when all they have to do is go in their account and see. When you refuse they give you a horrible attitude and will not accept “I don’t want to do this please stop calling me”. They will call once a month and send you an email if you don’t answer. It’s ridiculous and so useless. Those people are there just wasting peoples time and upsetting them and calling that a job. It’s preposterous and I HATE IT

I am handicap disabled my entire left side of my body is damaged from a paralyzing stroke with alot of head pain..this sunshine health in sunrise Florida is not a legitimate insurance company..they are scamming Florida government Medicaid money along with fake medical equipment providers and some doctors office employees..they are all in conspiracy to give the run around to not provide medical treatment care or medical equipment..they refuse to file process doctor orders, referrals,prescription,ect for therapy, medical equipment, doctor specialist referrals,home health care help..they will patronize you,make fun of you, throw away doctor orders, prescriptions, referrals stoping you from getting medical help treatment,care, medical equipment, doctor specialist, therapy they will literally block you from everything medical to stop you from getting any medicad help benefits.they will string you along to patronize you make fun of you and try to get you upset on a recorded line to entrap you to get you in trouble.. they are definitely one of the south Florida government insurance provider scammer companies scamming medicaid for alot of money not providing anything.and they are waisting everybody time stringing you along with there games/scams...it is very unproductive and unhealthy mentally and physically to have this sunshine health insurance provider in sunrise/miami metroplex as a i insurance provider... with there games is definitely health abuse by not providing anything medical and stringing you along patronizing you which is mentally disturbing.. definitely abuse to the disabled sick people definitely a Medicade insurance scam..they are useless to everyone and just causing trouble.who cares about them get rid of them from your life and move on fast.. forget about everything you think is getting processed and move on to another insurance provider..change doctors and everything and every party involved in this insurance scam ring and start all over and get a lawyer...your time waiting and aggravation all invested was waisted go ahead and file report complaints to the government health administration, health department, department of children and family,govenors office,and review sites to expose this insurance scam ring...

i have mental health issues was supposed to have an appointment but since my health insurance is invalid they can’t provide services for me it’s very difficult to get resources or help in florida especially for medicine have to pay 40/30$ per bottle.

Completely ignored by Sunshine health .com
Being elderly and unable to walk, Sunshine Health . com has ignored my attempts to get a wheelchair among other much needed services. These people are guilty of blatant elderly abuse and are cheating the government who funds them to take care of people like myself. If they will do this to me, they will do it to anyone and my recommendation is to stay far away from this insurance company.Updates to come.
