Beware if you purchase a used vehicle with no code lights. I suggest you buy or borrow an OBD reader and bring it with you before signing anything. Codes can be deleted making a vehicle appear to be without issues until you purchase it, drive it around for a week and then find out over half your cylinders are misfiring and there's severe safety recalls you weren't informed about. When you think going to a dealer is going to be safer or more honest than a private party, think again.
