Our Sunny treadmill is worn out after 3 years
Our treadmill, a Sunny TM1, stopped running smoothly after three years. Turns out it probably had too small a motor for a life of low speed walking. The company will not provide a new motor free of charge because the warranty has expired. The treadmill is headed for a landfill because it's not worth repairing. Quite disappointing.

We received a treadmill in seriously damaged packaging, with both cosmetic and structural damage. We have been communicating for over a week about getting a replacement, with lots of words but no resolution.

Ordered the under the desk with tension…
Ordered the under the desk with tension control. It was just as stated in the advertisement. I plan to use it while sitting on the sofa. It is a convenient option, I plan to use often. The mini bike was also easy to put together. The order came in a timely manner also with clear instructions. I would choose Sunny Health Fitness products again and again. Their products are actually affordable. It is a great product to become more active while sitting.

Customer service is unhelpful
I purchased a SHF Phantom Hydro Water rower in 2023. Over the course of two years of ownership it mostly worked okay except for a few issues. First the tablet/phone holder broke off the electric console, I had to pay for a replacement but that one was on me due to an accident. Not long after that the cord attached to the pull bar broke and came loose from the pull bar. I could not get customer service to understand what happened, fortunately my wife was able to repair it by looping it back through and sewing it with some strong thread. I had to take some time off due to an unrelated injury and when I came back I noticed the water level was greatly reduced. I went to refill it, only to find that it now leaked from the bolt holding the water tank in place on the metal frame and from the underside of the water tank where it sits on the metal frame. I completed a service claim on their site asking for advice on how to fix it. I knew it was outside of the warranty, I just wanted to know what I could do to fix it. They asked for photos and video of the issue which I sent but also wanted me to send in the proof of purchase. I bought it from Target and no longer had the receipt, and found out that Target only keeps e-receipts for two years and there's no way to retrieve them after that. They told me that because I could not provide proof of purchase they couldn't provide any advice on repairs, but offered me a coupon code THANKYOU10 to buy a new one. Needless to say, they will not be getting any more business from me if they can't provide any support on their product. The rower was nice enough while it worked, but for $400 I expect to get more than just a couple years of use out of it, I do not recommend.

Pretty good customer after sales support.
I needed a part for our manual treadmill that we lost. Or thought we lost until we found it. So we sent an inquiry to Sunny via their site to ask if they actually sell the missing part. The representative who responded was very detailed with instructions as to how to procure the part. Fortunately for us, we did eventually find the part. Kudos to your aftersales support.

Caveat emptor
The tension cannot be set to the number 1 position. The lowest it will go is number 3. I discovered a manufacturing defect. Sunny has insulated itself from any support. I was able to correct their mistake with the tension wire because I have mechanical expertise. The ratchet spool has 2 holes. The tension wire was attached to the incorrect hole.

DO NOT BUY from this brand
Treadmill fried itself after two years and one month of daily use. I break my four mile walk into two two-mile sessions. I give the treadmill a 30-60 minute break to cool down after doing two miles in under 35 minutes, then I do my other two miles. The treadmill has always smelled awful during use, like fire and burning plastic. I took the shield off the machine and I vacuum the area beneath it with my Dyson before each session to make sure there’s no dust or pet hair in the moving parts that I can access. Today, at 1.91 miles going 3.4 mph the machine errored out. We troubleshot it by disconnecting and reconnecting wires, flicking the power switch, and it was still quite inoperable. Shortly before the machine stopped on me while using it, the horrendous plastic burning smell was intense but that is normal for this machine, sadly. My warranty ran out a little over a month ago. Amazon, where I purchased this treadmill, no longer sells the exact model so I cannot leave a review there. I purchased a Sunny treadmill model SF-T7515 in January, 2025. It did arrive with a broken power switch. I contacted Customer Service, they sent out a new switch with instructions on how to install it. Since then, I use my treadmill 60 minutes a day. I am very happy with it. I think it was good value for the money. I would purchase again.

DAMAGED OIL LEAK OVER ENTIRE BOX
I purchased this Exercise Bike through Walmart/selling their product. I didn't even open the package, WHY? I have Many pictures of the damage. Unopend the entire Box is Covered in OIL. Entirely in oil. It also appears as though someone Else had returned this product because This company Sunny Health & Fitness attempted to Re-Tape OVER the original taping. No need for me to even open the box. Being this Obvious it would only make me More Angry. This company has more 1 stars than Positive ones. I know Sunny Health will respond to my post apologizing with a generic pre typed response message, as I've seen on other complaints posted. Keep your Sunny mouth to yourself, your AI generated comments are rediculous. Buyers don't even grace this company with your presence. April 24 2025

Update on my Last one star review
Your support team got into contact with me and stated there is nothing they can do to resolve my previous issue. I was not planning on adding additional reviews but considering I've waiting over a month and a half for my product just for it to be canceled last minute and your support team saying nothing but "Sorry" I think another one star review is justified. Not only does this company struggle to fulfill orders but their customer support staff is lackluster at best. Should you have an issue with their product you will get nothing better than an apology with no resolution what so ever. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Customer support was very effective and friendly in helping me to bring a used rower from Craigslist back to usable condition. They verified the model and serial numbers and provided diagrams to make sure I was asking for the right parts, had good response times on emails, and were overall delightful. Special kudos to Kitty for working to get dimensions from an out-of-stock piece so I could fabricate a replacement.

This is for the SF-E3919 Premium Cardio Climber. The belt has shredded. Item was purchased as a back-up unit so didn't get used at first. I started to use it after the 6 month warranty had expired. This unit didn't have ten hours on it. Customer support was excellent but the product, not so much. $20 for new belt. $18 for crank puller. $6 for shipping. Noticed on belt removal, damage to plastic belt wheel. I didn't price that. Time to throw in the towel and take my loss.

Quality Product + Excellent Service!
I purchased a stepper with handlebar from an online retailer but the computer was missing from the package. I reached out to Sunny Health customer service and after verifying my purchase + model number, Jerrie assisted by sending out a replacement. It arrived in a few days and I was able to start counting steps, tracking time, etc. I've been using the stepper 5 days a week since and it's held up pretty nicely. I'm pleased with the product and I've even recommended it to my friends and loved ones who are looking for a budget friendly exercise equipment that's far from bulky. It's also easy to assemble!

SunnyFit Magnetic Bike - Sturdy, easy to set up, fun to use
I don’t have experience with bike assembly and repair, yet I found the assembly instructions very easy to follow. I did have a problem with the magnetic resistance after assembly so I sent an email to their customer support with some pictures. I received a reply from Steven-Technical Team (T2) within 2 business days. I followed his instructions and had it working in under 5 minutes. Thank you Steven!This bike is quiet, very sturdy, and fun to use, especially with their free app. I’m really happy I was able to buy this. I’m also impressed with their timely and helpful customer support.

Bad besrings
Ordered and received bike in February 2024. Easy to assemble with well written instructions. Bike was quiet and except for the narrow seat, comfortable. In mid-August, bike seemed to lose resistance. The first of September, it quit running. Dissembled it, pulling the covers off and belt was shredded. Texted the company about a replacement and was told that they would have to check to see if a replacement belt was available. Also, they asked that I check the pedal operation as their maintenance suspected a bad bearing set. Still waiting to hear back from them. Why does two very important mechanical items go bad within weeks of the warranty period ending when they are aware that this happens and have a You-Tube video showing how to repair. Had to be happening a lot. Sunny Health & Fitness Support initially appeared to be blowing off my concerns but after a couple of days have contacted me and promised replacement parts. New bearing sets and belt were received within 3 days to replace old bearing's. Customer support has responded very well to my complaint.

I bought a treadmill a little over 2…
I bought a treadmill a little over 2 years ago and I was on it and it suddenly stopped. Then there was an awful burning smell so I called to get it fixed. I would have never have bought anything from them if I knew they didn’t send repair people out to fix the issue. They fix things by looking at pictures etc. and expect me to install repair parts. They say it’s the power switch but I’m not sure that’s the issue. The prongs the power cord go into seem loose. It’s very aggravating to keep going back and forth with emails. I’m not happy at all with this company. My treadmill was over $500 and should last a lot longer than 2 years. Will never buy from them again and will make sure I tell people not to either.

Functional Home Equipment sold & supported in USA!
I have been a Sunny Health & Fitness homeowner since COVID, when I realized the indoor gym scene may not be a Healthy idea. I currently have the Rower, Air bike, Roman Chair & Abdominal pullups machines...all used by me in my home. Love knowing when I have an issue I can talk to someone about parts, repair(if needed) and even how user friendly their equipment is. I would strongly endorse their fitness equipment for adult home use. If your looking for heavy duty gym equipment, that weighs a ton & is found @ YMCA or Gold's Gym...keep looking...but for the value and availability to move or store as home use equipment....You Can't Beat it!!
