Rachel, my coach, was so great to work with! She truly wanted what was best for me! She listened, gave advice, solutions, tips and tricks, to help make me current work experience better and how to look for another job. She validated my feelings instead of saying that is just how it goes in a work environment now. Being able to communicate with Rachel in between sessions was nice too! I’ve invested in coaching before, but there was something incredibly different in this experience, particularly with matching to the right coach. Once I was matched with my coach…which was done in a few minutes and they got it right the first time…the ball started rolling. I’m on track and confident I will have the right position very soon!

Acquisition woes and strife
My company is going through a difficult acquisition, growing from a few hundred to over a thousand employees. With focus shifts, job task shifts, and more questions than answers, I was feeling overwhelmed and at a crossroad. Strawberry.me helped connect me with a coach who has really helped me adjust. Through exercises, tools, and discussion, she has been able to help me reframe and “future proof” myself so I can keep moving forward.

Great coach+service, not transparent payment options
I love the coach I have been paired with at strawberry and the service overall is legitimate and super helpful! The thing I do not like about strawberry is the lack of transparency and information on payment options. You are still charged even if you skip a session, which is understandable as you can still message your coach and benefit from the service, however you are only reimbursed if you message them and ask them to credit your account. There should be an easier way to defer payments if a session is postponed, and this information should be easy to find for people using the service. I hope they make those improvements moving forward.

My coach, Elavie, is hands down best person I’ve had come into my life to help guide and unravel all I am experiencing through the job-seeking and career-lifting journey. At first, I wasn’t so convinced with the first coach that was assigned to me and then the platform gives you the option to schedule another session or try out another coach. I felt bad, but had to be honest with myself and decided to try out a new coach. That’s when I was able to search through different coaches and found Elavie. Since then I’ve had 3 sessions with her thus far and every time I come out of my coaching sessions with her, I feel a sense of weight off my shoulders, like I’m not alone in the process, nor navigating the process blindly thinking I’ve done and tried it all. She has helped me think out of the box and deeper into what I need, strategies I’m using, and overall how I’m approaching advancing my career. It was a bit nerve breaking to start because I questioned if it was worth it and felt like I’ve chatGPT all I can to improve my approach, but honestly there are things that can’t be taught or seen until you breakdown how you are truly psychologically approaching things and why.

Great coach match, positive experience. I signed up for 4 sessions to better focus my next career move. I was matched with Laura F., who listened well and guided my planning, but with my full input along the way. We built a goals board to better understand the best things to focus on (focus being my primary objective). Each week, we came back to that for a check in, and refined the method. I feel like my career search is now focused on finding a quality, long-term opportunity rather than the resume pray and spray approach I was originally doing.

The platform enables high value coaching at an affordable price, which makes it really accessible to anyone looking to take ownership of any area of life they’re focused on and just get started. During onboarding, the series of questions asked helps you see where you stand in your different life areas at a high level and when deciding your focus, the coaches offering is very well chosen. My coach was really positive, supportive, patient and actually experienced enough to handle topics in hand. The tool itself is also very customized - it was nice to see familiar boards I’ve previously worked with, and the summary notes shared after each sessions were very helpful and on point.

Unable to cancel subscription, keeps billing me
I’ve been unable to login for weeks since they don’t use a traditional password login and their system is just super buggy, and they keep billing me. I reached out to customer service to cancel this and stop billing me, but they refuse! Maybe it’s fine while you use it, but the moment you want to stop, they won’t let you go. Extremely scammy, never sign up for a subscription in the first place!

It's awesome when you find a coach who understands your path
It is helpful to work with a coach who can distill your values through thoughtful exercises, which brings career clarity. What's great about Strawberry is the way the algorithm helps you to select a coach. I found my coaches to be a good match. When I felt my needs change in terms of career direction, I was able to switch to another coach, and she's been wonderful. The support I receive between sessions keeps me accountable and on-task. The post-session summaries and the dashboard are helpful too.
