We have been using Fly Predators on our farm for many years now. Our farrier says that we have far fewer flies than any other barn she visits! This year, I never needed to put fly sheets on the horses ONCE! Thanks Fly Predators!
Every year since beginning use, years ago, of the parasitic wasps, the fly population has been noticeably and progressively lessened. Late August through early October, the flies in this area become rather aggressive. It's good that there are not as many of them as there would be had Spaldings not been a partner in fly management.
I’ve moved to a new home with my donkeys so will be starting over with the fly parasites. I already have my season schedule contracted. The people who bought my former property commented on the fact that there were no flies so I left them a flyer and explained the regimen. They should do fine this coming year and of course I’m expecting the usual great results at my new place.
Love this product to keep the fly population down. My neighbors have 4 horses right next to my barn and the flies are heavy. I sprinkle Fly Predators on the fence line to keep the flies under control.
I can’t say enough good things about Spalding Fly Predators. I’ve used them for several years and the results have been incredible—flies are almost nonexistent. It’s hands down the most effective fly control I’ve ever used. Great product, great service, and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!
It seems like shipments are always a couple weeks late. I've been getting this product for 8 years and I was told that the longer I get them the better it would be for my farm because they would reproduce on my farm and every year it was supposed to get better. Don't get me wrong I think they helped me but I feel like they have hybrid fly predators mixed in or then they are all hybrid, because I don't think they reproduce on the farm. Instead it seems like every year I need just as many or more then the year before. And also you can get long lasting fly spray now that I've heard better results then the bugs. It also makes it complicated to use the bugs, because when they aren't doing there job then I can't just use the long lasting spray to help them out because it will kill any live bugs that I have as well.
This shipment came in at half what it should have been. Over the years I have been happy with the quality and timing of the shipments. Prior to this, I was charged, but didn't receive the order until 10 days later.I might stay through the summer, but renewing my subscription will be under review.
Easy to use, reorder complete
This is our second year/ season using the fly predators. We have 3 dogs, a decent sized yard, all hardscape no grass. My hubby is the pooper scooper in the family and he mentioned that he was very impressed with my "little bugs"! No better review than that!
I'm totally sold on this product. I didn't have to be concerned where i put it because of it being safe, In addition i used very little in the way of fly control compared to what I've used in the past. I was amazed at how controlled the flies were in the barn, especially in the feed room and the cat room. Fabulous product!
Have used fly preds for years! This year has been a total disaster! I was told they had a new computer system that was causing issues. First I had no account for this year (although I had signed up) and now I have two different accounts! They are double billing me. I can’t reach anyone at Spalding. What do I do to make this end???
I have been ordering fly predators for year. I noticed in 2022 1/4 didn't hatch. I contacted Spalding labs and got no help. I then ordered in 2023 and noticed 1/2 of the fly predators did not hatch. Again, I spoke to someone from Spalding labs. I was told I probably wasn't dispersing them right. This was far from the truth. Me and my wife decided it was not worth the cost of the fly predators if they didn't work, and Spalding labs would not resolve the issues. We decided to end our relationship with Spalding labs.On 6/18/2024 I received a voice mail from Lanna with Spalding labs reaching out because they noticed I/we haven't ordered yet and wanted to help. She noted that you had staffing issues. They also had customer service issues for sure. BBB complaint filed.
Same story..... used to be an excellent company to work with. Now there is effectively no company. No customer service, no live product - just my money taken.Time for a little legal follow-up.....

Looking now for a new, reliable supplier. So sad.

SO DISAPPOINTED!I have dealt with Spalding successfully for years. Last year I inadvertently paid twice for last years shipments. The business called to let me know. They suggested the overpayment be applied to this year. Perfect...i have not received my shipment. Have called and emailed. No response.
Used these guys for years... this year total disaster. They take your money, send junk that doesnt hatch then dont respond to your calls. Zero customer service. I am having to go through my credit card company to recover my lost costs. Avoid.
I have been a customer for 20 years. Not sure what has happened. first 2024 never hatched and this is before trying to get my 2024 shipment schedule corrected. Should have took that as a sign. Calls, emails no response. Very frustrated and feel cheated
Something is wrong.. company is not responding to emails, calls ,chats. I have used this company for many years.
st my preorder and no response to calls or emails. after over 5 years of being a customer, i am done. 2 weeks after i emailed i got a call, what a joke, i have shared with a lot of people about this but probably not necessary as they will belly up
